@@cameronwanner7330 To make room for the singles from ‘Saints of Los Angeles’. Not a fair trade. It should’ve been a separate compilation, not a replacement.
On with the show underrated? That song Inspired the pop punk era the way The Clash did to good ole fashioned punk rock with Train in Vain. But I agree, bitter pill is a good song. It gets no love. I think there's a label issue or something. They never play it now and it's not available in many apps and forums
Came out I believe 1998 and was a single on a greatest hits album so it didn't get the exposure otherwise the song would probably be bigger it's a great song
Had this greatest hits cassette tape in 2001, when I was 14. This was one of my favorite songs from that cassette tape. And I’m surprised the snobs at iTunes and Spotify left it out.
how this tune, and this record, never got more respect is beyond me. IMO some of the last really great, simple rock music made before everything sounded like Barbie's Dream Studio
LOL, I remember in AIT, coming back in from some training in total pain like the other guys', and there were some dudes playing this song in the day room - I think we all needed some pain killers there! They told us AIT would be better then basic - Not our AIT! - Regardless, since then, this song has continued to run through my head - Love it!!!
I was a huge Crue fan as a kid. When I bought the greatest hits cd, I played it for the first time in my then girlfriends bedroom. Cranked this song up, she thought I was crazy but by the end of it I was going down on her. Those were great times.
A fucking year.... An entire fucking year I've had the intro to this song stuck in my head and couldn't remember what it was. I was pretty sure it was a crue song because I love em but this song doesn't look like it's on UA-cam music. I was searching everywhere though, similar bands and all that and have been going crazy. This is such a load off my mind at this point that I'm going to listen to this song until I can't possibly forget it again.
That's everybody. Show me a human being that says they've never experienced any downside in life and I'll show you a liar. Everybody makes mistakes in life.
This is actually my favorite song of all-time, even though it's obscure. I listened to this every day on repeat for hours in Middle School, and as I got older it only got more meaningful to me. While the metaphor didn't apply as much(I never was into drugs), the more literal interpretation I directly felt.
randy castillo covered for tommy in the studio, but didnt tour as he got cancer and was too ill, so sam maloney (i think thats her last name, might be wrong) did the touring in his place...unfortunately randy eventually died...he also played and toured with ozzy on the ozmosis tour? the one with 'perry mason' on it anyways. loved crue when i was 14, now 40 still love em! ...see ya!
CRUE Rules. My life soundtrack, love , drugs, ups & downs shared as CRUE songs. Lucky enough to separate myself from poisonous pussy, no relapes with heroin in 5 years. But used to LOVE my Bitter Pill, Oh boy, did i do it up in life -My Bitter Pill

If they had retired after the Carnival of Sins tour and the ‘Red, White, & Crüe’ compilation, they would’ve kept their integrity. It was their best tour, and one of the best compilation albums ever made. But not only did they continue, they butchered this ‘Greatest Hits’ album, ‘R,W,&C’ is out of print, and nothing was ever the same again. Their actual final album proved they just didn’t have the spirit of Mötley Crüe anymore, making “Bitter Pill” their final truly great song.
I don’t know why they removed this from their greatest hits compilation. Such an awesome tune.
Vince ate the last remaining copies
@@ajhimself1988 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
No Tommy
I agree. Bitter Pill is an awesome song!
i agree
2023 and still the best tune in the world should never had been banned off thier greatest hits album
But that's where I first heard it.. Why did they remove it?? It's an excellant tune!!
Me too. They removed it? It's on the Red, White, & Crue compilation, along with Enslaved. This is why physical media needs to stick around.
Why was it ever removed?
Has anyone ever confirmed an answer to that?

From the moment I heard it, this has been one of my favorite Crue songs.
2020 and still crankin it!!! I really wish this song got more credit from the crue.. Would be a real bad ass song to do live
When they kicked off the 1998 greatest hits tour, they played this at the first few shows and then dropped it from the set list
This is my favorite song of theirs.
@@sixxfixx666 They also played this song, along with another, at a wwe raw show, which is how I was introduced to the Crue.
8/10/2022,🇮🇹1st time.

Top 5 underrated songs from Motley along with On with the Show... Monstrous songs 🤘
On with the show underrated?
That song Inspired the pop punk era the way The Clash did to good ole fashioned punk rock with Train in Vain.

This is one of my favorite Motley Crue songs
lol my first apartment lmao rocking this song everyday driving my neighbors nuts back in the fall of 98.
I LOVE this song. I use to get a heart rush as a high schooler hearing this song. A beautiful song to play on drums.
Reminds you of how much fun it used to be just to rock out. Even before COVID this world was a drag. A fucking drag, folks.
One of my fave Crue songs, along with "You're All I Need" and "Too Young To Fall In Love"
Had this greatest hits cassette tape in 2001, when I was 14. This was one of my favorite songs from that cassette tape. And I’m surprised the snobs at iTunes and Spotify left it out.
it's not their fault. Crue decided to reissue this album minus this song, Enslaved and I think the remix of Glitter too
So reminds me of good days
Me too, my adolescence, Motley crue is a big influence on my music!
This song is awesome! I can't believe they left it off the greatest hits reissue/09 update. Not available on iTunes either 🤔 that sucks.
Philly 5 I can’t find it anywhere.
Ya that's pretty dumb
Yeah its not on spotify either which sucks. I wish they would of made whole album like this instead of New Tattoo.

And the label said take two for the pain
So now I medicate my brain
And the conflict rubs against my grain
But I can not flush this down the drain
We are so hopeless
We are so hopelessly in love
She breaks my will
She's my bitter pill
Addicted to her
Can't fight off the chill
She blurs my world
She's my bitter pill
We creep the night
Just to taste the thrill
Hopelessly in love
She's the kind of love drives a man insane
She sticks her poison right in my vein
Spinning around
Over and upside down in love
She breaks my will
She's my bitter pill
Addicted to her
Can't fight off this chill
She blurs my world
She's my bitter pill
We creep the night
Just to taste the thrill
Hopelessly in love
She blurs my world
She's my bitter pill
She breaks my will
She's my bitter pill
We creep the night
Just to taste the thrill
Addicted to her
She's my bitter pill
