What is the max dose of Oestrogel gel recommended if you have a Mirena coil?
The dosage of Oestrogel is based on #menopausal symptom relief & always rulling out other causes for the symptoms.
HRT dosing has to be individually assessed for each patient with risks vs benefits in regards to #endometrialprotection & #breastcancer
Sometimes Testosterone is needed or low dose antidepressants alongside the HRT for symptom control
The Mirena Coil is a great way to get the progesterone component of your HRT. It provides 5years of:
endometrial protection when using oestrogen therapy
contraception
stops / reduces vaginal bleeding
helps protect against endometrial cancer (pubmed.ncbi.nl...)
