I would rate it Nr. 3 after BeamNG and the Bugbears FlatOut2 & Wreckfest.

Its engine was made by vibranium so it literally never breaks. If you put it in 1st gear it could easily push the gravitational pull of the Earth and move it somewhere else from the Solar System
Reason I spend my time freeroam on unbound more that F5 is the reason my childhood memories and vibes running from the cops😆 I love when I was being chased by cops and someone just come to help me on the run too by hitting a cop car and dang the story is something I love about the game .
In terms of car detail, nfs always gets the car detail right compared to horizon 5 and their outdated car models, but the actual driving is leagues better than unbound.

Forza Horizon 5 has almost eight hundred cars, the map is huge, and all the cars have huge details, clearly there are some things where it should save resources, there are some points where NFS is abysmally surpassed by FH5, not to mention that in general the graphics of FH5 are hyper realistic and on the contrary in NFS many things like the interior of the cars seems made of plasticine, not to mention that the rain effects in NFS are too exaggerated, the graphics look like a "copy+paste" of NFS Rivals. Overall Forza was developed as a realistic driving simulator or just for entertainment but the quality of the game is too great, and Need for Speed is like the classic racing and classic driving games, the video is great, but in my opinion it doesn't make much sense the comparison, and I'm not defending any game because I'm too much of a Need for Speed fan, I love their games, same as Forza, but clearly they are two different things these games.

Unbound wouldve been perfect arcade racing game for me if they let me race without the stupid dependance on matchmaking. 16 players on the lobby and u come in everyone is in the middle of a Race, they do string of races for hours and u end up not being able to do anything rather than waste time driving around the map online dependency is something that ruins most of the games we have for real
Car's exteriors in Unbound looks soooo good, look at that exhaust model in comparison to Forza, and the interior is so detailed for a game with no cockpit perspective
both game looks kinda good with impressive environment interaction physic (minus the stair) but the other than good looking with the ability to cover your car with droplet or mud the physic look (or purposely look) arcadey for me not that i can afford the game to experience it myself but for game that is more about the race and interaction i think nfs unbound make the game seems more dramatic and fh5 just copy and paste for 7 year straight since the release of the horizon 3 from what i see but both game is ok (from my perspective)
The front bumper thing is excusable, Unbound and Horizon aren't simulators imagine the anger online if all of sudden these lowered cars in Unbound started getting wrecked by sidewalk curbs. It sucks for players with a higher skill but these games are meant to reach a wide audience and having stuff like that would push away people who just want to test the games imo
The only thing stopping me from getting unbound is the cartoony effects and the lack of option to turn them off. Yes its a small nit pic on the game and Yes, they added the natural smoke effect recently but i cant with it along with the cartoony driver maybe when it goes on sale i might.
Both are garbage compared to NFS 2015/2016 in terms of attention to details, sound and obviously the graphics. Fuck in NFS16, it even rains on traffic cars both stationary and moving ones. That's why the atmosphere feels so real.
