Clearing Away Nightmares | Anti Nightmare Sleep Salve | Simple Spell

  • After posting my last video on nightmare cures and rituals I realized that there was something still missing from it all - I forgot to add something to clear away that energy from the self. So this video is meant to help with that!
    Ingredients:
    3 lemon peals
3 pinches of lavender (can exchange with chamomile)
a small handful of cedar (can exchange with chamomile or rosemary)
    1 cup of olive oil
    1 ounce of beeswax
a small scoop of coconut oil (optional)
    Hot (fast) infusion method:
(the method used in this video)
Add the herbs and olive oil together in a jar then place the jar into a pot of water. Bring the water to a low simmer and allow to cook here for 3 - 6 hours. Remember to add water to the pot every now and again and continue to stir at regular intervals. Once the time is up pull the oil off the heat, strain out the herbs and add the oil again to a jar. Add in the beeswax. Put it back on the stove in a pot of water and cook until the beeswax is completely melted. Take it off the heat, add in the coconut oil (and some essential oils if you please) and then pour it into a tin. Allow it to set until cool or overnight.
    Slow Infusion method:
(just done without the initial heat)
Add the herbs and olive oil together in a jar then place in a temperature controlled dark place (a cabinet is best). Shake the jar every now and again, whenever you remember, to help the infusion process. At the end of the six weeks strain the herbs and continue in the same way as the video did after the herbs were strained.

I’m loving this nightmare series 🖤 As a child I suffered from extreme nightmares and had to learn to lucid dream as a result - I think that’s one of the reasons why I’m so comfortable in the astral. I could have really used these banishing spells and salves back then! I’m so glad you’re making these videos. Super useful and valuable content! ✨🙏✨💐✨💜✨

"keep a citrus element" i'm allergic ^-^" i used to have a balm my mom made me for this though, it was lavender, chamomile, and sweetgrass (also any readers please note, sweetgrass IS considered endangered, we are native so our harvests are always beneficial to the area we taks from as we know how to properly do so!) lemon thyme is a good sub for sweetgrass despite the very different smells for anyone reading!

Meditate on regular basis. Use Meditations with light visulization and then use the light if you have nightmares or uncomfortable lucid dreams. Also let go of all negative habits, may it be physical things like smoking, drugs, meat eating, alcohol and so on but also be aware of negative thoughts and emotions, dont deny such emotions but dont feed them, dont circle in them, observe them, maybe meditate about what caused them and always get back to a clean meditativ state of mind.
If you are sensitive for energies and you live in a place with lots of negative energy the nightmares might be caused by them. Places with negative energies are usally (big) cities, places with history of war, crimes, drug, violence of any kind, big enviromental problems and so on. Create harmony in the room you sleep in, maybe use crystals, calming colors, serene or cheerful paintings, what ever you seem fitting.
Also be aware of what kind of people you have contact with and what kind of videos, music etc. you watch. I once had contact with an individual that was looking horror movies very often and was complaining about having nightmares.
The Body and the Mind and the subconscious need to be treated with respect and taken care of in every aspect of life. Good Luck with getting rid of them :)

If you want an idea for some of your infusions, I took a short class online where she taught us to blend the herbs in the oil because breaking it up allows more plant material to come in to contact with the oil making it more potent and effective. Im straining my oil tomorrow after trying this, can't wait to see how it turns out

I had a nightmare when I was about 6 years old that has stuck with me sense. I’m now 30 and still think of it. It was set in the Ancient Greece had more of the “Xena” vibes. I had a small sibling with me and the warriors dressed like gladiators took my mother. In the dream I was around 6. They ended up killing my mom and I woke up SCREAMING. I often wonder if I was having a past life regression… my entire life Iv had a fear of my mother dying. So much so that I would leave slumber parties bc I missed my mom and was afraid something would happen to her. I think this could be a nice direction to go in after your nightmare series… just dreams in general. Love the content. Sending light and love your way.

This is a very detailed inquiry…
Lately I’ve been having awful nightmares concerning my mother, who passed away four years ago. We were very close, like sisters. But these nightmares I have always stick in my mind and frighten me on a daily basis; I am struggling to get her attention and she is ignoring me, and in the dream I usually do something drastic for her to get to notice me again. Another thing is, she died in my house and I no longer feel her spirit here with me.
Is there anything I can do to help me lead a calmer, less grief-filled life? Is her spirit causing me problems? Thank you for reading this. ❤️

I came across your channel under the beginner series videos that u have. I enjoy your videos and you have a very calming voice which makes watching the videos soothing. Coming across this video resonates because I tend to have nightmares quite often and I know mine are due to stressors and things that worry my waking life. You mentioned adding essential oil if you wanted to in the Salve. Being that the ingredients you used are all very fragrant, if you were to add one what would be your preference with this particular one?

Love this :) I use a dream balm on nights when I need some calming, it has lavender and mugwort (not homemade by me, but an artisan on etsy) Do you think that mugwort is too stimulating and adds to wild dreaming because of it's mild psychoactive properties and or would it be ok to use in this salve? Just wondering ;) You definitely inspire me to try my hand at crafting some of these salves!

I really like the skirts, aprons and dresses you wear in the videos, I'm curious where you buy them from actually. I'd love to have some of the same style, they're so witchy-looking and adorable!

I love to use straight coconut oil as a base but that only holds it's shape in the winter. Liquefies in the summer. Cocoa butter would also be nice if you are looking for a vegan option.

thoughts on additionally incorporating skullcap into this salve? it has attributions with helping with anxiety and insomnia, however i'm not sure how potent it is being used topically as there's not much research. it does also have magickal associations with relaxation and preventing nightmares.

I think this would be a nice essential oil blend if you don't have the actual herbs. Thank you.
