    I've never learned that much about witchcraft as my father is a pastor and I've grown up in the Bible belt but her knowledge is so beautiful, I crave to one day be able to go on my own journey when I am old enough to be out of the house but right now her knowledge is inspiration

    I actually added some camellia flowers since to me I have a strong connection with them. They grow in my garden and have been there ever since I remember. They also carry decision making properties which really help since I have trouble with that! Something great for people having the same problems

    I love your salves and will definitely be giving this one a go.
    I believe in the power of intent and prayer and think it can go a long way. May I add too that if you are dealing with serious stress and anxieties (🙋‍♀️) please reach out to your doctor
    and/or a therapist. This salve could help you make that first step if reaching out makes you nervous. Taking care of you and getting help doesn't make you any less magical. 💖

    I love salves as they’re a bit more wearable than oils! I looove me some wearables.
    I’m actually allergic to beeswax! So for those who are curious of some safe substitutes, you can use olive wax (kinda hard to find but I like it for my skin) or Soy Wax Candelilla Wax
    ❤️❤️ well wishes to you all in hopes that we can all feel a little stress relief!

    I grew up in Massachusetts and as a kid we never had air conditioning and many of our summers we would have a heat with 100 percent humidity here is what we did : in the am take your top sheet fold it neatly and put it in a zip lock bag and put in the freezer for the day . AT night take it out and sleep under it ... a little uncomfortable for a few minutes but eventually it is the perfect temp to fall asleep . All I needed was to fall asleep once asleep the heat did not bother me , Drinking cold lemonade also cools down the body . A quick dip in teh ocean helps cool you down as well . I also like to rinse off with cold shower just before bed. ALso a bowl of ice in front of fan . For pets I had a dog in in Lynn MA that when it got really hot we would give him a bag of ice and he sleep on it . Basements are the best though in a heat wave .I have one now but it a dirt floor and I rarely go down there

    Thank you so much for making this! For those of you that can't find beeswax or find it too expensive, a replacement I've used in salves is plain lipbalm- the kind that you can relatively cheaply that has simple ingredients. You can use the ones that come in stick form if you're adding a substantial amount of oils or if you're only adding a little you can get the ones that come in little pots. Also makes it easier for those in the broom closet since it simply passes as a DIY lipbalm :)

    Thank you for your teachings. I am new to the awakening of my craft. I had always kind of known I was “different “ and I guess I’m more of a kitchen witch. But I feel like I’ve done this before many times. Just don’t remember all. I feel like I am having to learn all over again kind of like a bumped my head and had amnesia and just now starting to slowly remember things.. and when I watch you make your salves it’s like something goes oh yeah and oh this would work in that kind of feeling. I don’t know but I hope I’m not sounding crazy…

    I was planning on making lavender water with lavender from my garden, I think I'll make some salve too. Thank you for the recipe. I do have a tip I learned from Danu's Garden put your jars in warm water in your crockpot, turn it to low or keep warm. No hot stove or inconsistent temperature, just warming water bath. She used it while making shampoo. May you have calm and peace🕊️

      I like the crockpot method - I put oil and herbs in a pint jar, put a lid on loosely, and put the jar in the crock pot. I add water to about the level of the oil in the jar and turn it on warm. I leave it for 24 hours, strain it, measure it, warm it in a double boiler with beeswax, etc. I have a small crockpot that has a "warm" setting as well as a low - low is hotter than I like.

    I'm late but for anyone wondering if you can make salves without beeswax: Use cocoa butter instead and add less of the liquid oil. Cocoa butter is quite hard at room temperature. Just keep the salve in a cool place, because the coconut oil will melt and seperate from the cocoa butter if it gets too warm.

    Thank you for reccomwnding beeswax! Soy wax is horrible for the body and the other substitutes do not work as well or are also dangerous. I understand some people have moral qualms with beeswax but as long as the bee farmer did a good job then its actually great for saving the bees. And if there are allergies then yes, find an alternative, but i do feel sorry for those with allergies to it 🥺

    • @anarcougly
      @anarcougly 3 роки тому

      Wow I did not imagine people have moral qualms with... beeswax. I will use this spell with no doubts because I consider bees my allies. Fair exchange of energy. I have a garden and grow flowers. They enjoy flowers so much. Instead of people getting moral qualms they could plant some flowers... it is an idea! no qualms when it is a fair exchange ❤🐝

    • @xerrias
      @xerrias 3 роки тому +2

      @@anarcougly agreed! Some people are weird because they believe it is hurting the bees. I am with you... using beeswax seems more natural and right. Like it makes a connection with the bees. I also grow them many flowers and make them houses, so I'm all about equal exchange... but even just purchasing from a good bee farmer is great, they take care of them and make sure they are healthy and happy.
