I got hooked on ABBA back in 1977 with the song Knowing Me Knowing You and that affection has not diminished. They are incredible. Timeless, flawless, pop GOLD. The songs never lose their appeal. They produced an exceptional catalogue of songs enjoyed by all ages. They will never be bettered IMO

One of the biggest selling bands of all time globally. Nine No 1 singles in The UK alone at the time when vinyl sales we're at their peak. A few years ago they were offered 1 Billion Dollars to reform and do some concerts but they turned it down. It's been almost 30yrs since they split but they still sell around 4 million albums worldwide every year. Two hit movies (Mamma Mia & Mamma Mia - Here We Go Again" & a mega-successful stage show again called Mamma Mia & you've never heard of them!!!
