I wonder if they’ll ever go back to a final 2. Final 3 has rarely (if ever?) resulted in the 3rd person getting more than 2 votes. I get it adds intrigue to get to that point but once the final 3 is set it always becomes a battle between 2, never all 3 that remain.

Feels like the showrunners had an idea for an edit that didn't pan out. They knew the episodes would be longer, so I feel they had this idea with the extra time. Then it just didn't fit in when edited. At least that's my best guess cause I've never seen a scene like this in any other season.
