- The primary purpose of this video series is to give my recommendations to the student attending One Shepherd leadership school for the first time. Secondarily, this also provides a look into 3 load carry systems I have used over the years (and still like) along with their purposes, attributes and compromises.

I like that you confused your toilet paper with MRE. Given the flavor of most of the meals it is an easy mistake to make. lol
Haha well I was about to say MRE "poop" tickets but decided attempt to be professional.
You mentioned using a bite valve now on the 2qt canteen. Do you have a name or a link? I'm not wanting to buy a low profile bladder atm and would rather just add a valve to my 2qt canteen. Regardless thats genius! Gonna rig that up on my patrol pack.
P.S. Interesting using the pads and back from an LBV-88 set. Thats neat. H harness is where its at.
It's called a "canteen straw" and are available quite a few places. They come with a simple bite valve but can be upgraded with your preferred components as they use the same hose size as hydration bladders.

What compass is that on your first line gear in this video? Ive been looking for one this size.
I'm not sure if it's available anymore - It's an REI brand keychain compass I picked up way back in my scouting days. It's similar in function to the watch band clip on compasses...compi?
