if you quit caffeine after couple of weeks you start to feel like a kid again with full of energy every day

I’ve always heard that the reason you’re extra tired when quitting is because your body created more adenosine receptors due to regular caffeine use. Those extra receptors mean your body will be more sensitive to adenosine. After some time, your body prunes the excess receptors and you go back to baseline.

I had this weird feeling of anxiety and not feeling well. Didn't know where it came from, even with a healthy lifestyle. And lots of shoulder and neck pain. Now it's day 16 without coffee. On the first week those symptoms weirdly incresead, but slowly subsided to a really better state. Now I'm using it only strategically and preferably with green or black tea. I do take decaffeinated coffee as well, which has only small amounts of caffeine.

I'm about to quit. Watching this stuff to educate my co-workers because somedays they drink a lot, other days they don't have time to go out for one so they quit that day. I'm the only one who drinks the instant stuff in the staff room. Anyway, they're all addicted and they get in bad moods and stuff and they don't even realize it's coffee doing it them. Makes me wonder how many people have up and downs and don't even realize it's that sweet, little, innocent cup of coffee doing it to them.

Every time I quit (you'd think I'd learn) it never fails... on the third day I'm just wide awake at night. I'm considering trying melatonin this time but I'm slightly afraid of being groggy in the morning and without coffee. 🤦🏻‍♀️ May try on a weekend. Good luck to you.

I have weaned myself slowly off of caffeine a few times. But like 2 months later I still don’t feel great so I relapse, last week I started using caffeine again after about 2 months…. Will it be easier for me to quit this time since it’s only been a week since I started again??
    I hope so.

My resolution was to quit coffee the whole november.
    Day 1 was uneventful
Day 2 (now) starting this morning with severe headache. Went for a walk and had good breakfast as usual. After taking a nap i was vomiting my life out. Chills and sweats also.
Im never sick and never had problems with digesting foods etc. BUT WTF is this?
    Any recommendations?
