Jengar you are obyouvsly a great Player but also very Lucky as well.
Take those first three kills, i mean that never happened to me that opponents seems so unaweare of me and didn't try anything to fight back!

They took away it airspawn and it is frustrating to play. I take all macth side climbing and i dont even get to 5k begore getting intercepted by an enemy plane. Its sad how bad the plane has become.
i've not flown it in a while, will be great to revisit ;)
I'm really struggling with this plane :( But I always have your videos to give me hope whenever I'm bad at some plane :)
I fly this often, to me there all the same, I fly the M mostly. Once you learn it it's a blast. If they do remove the airspawn maybe they will keep it at a low level like when the f84 spawns, just above the runway.
The KSPGuy. Agreed, it would take forever to get it up to altitude to engage,a lot of ppl would stay low and ground pound which means they are dead.....

taking away the airspawn completely would be a mistake indeed, i dont think they would remain competative with an airfield start.

@@samuellatta6774 extremely competitive. I climb with MEC at a 25° angle straight to 7000m. It's a damn rocket. I love the p47. Every single variant.

Would you think about putting out a chart of plane combat roles? Like have the plane on left column, then each column to the right would be a different role i.e. Boom and Run, Boom and Zoom, Energy...etc. Since you said this plane is Boom and Run foremost then that box would have 100%, then maybe 80% in the Boom and Zoom, down to maybe 15% in Turn Fighter. Do you have something like that already? Think it would help a lot of us who are just simply using the wrong damn plane for the wrong damn job....lol

Maybe try out the p51d30, i have the most games in it, but patch 1.77 nerfed the rudder, climb, and high alt performance

Hey Jengar nowadays would you say the P47D-28 outperforms the N because out of all the P47s I’ve spaded the N has given me a very hard time, is there a different play style to this bird? Or is she the same as her sisters?
Did you have any luck with the N? I'm finding the lack of air spawn really tough..
@@IShaderI If I were you I’d stay away from the N, it is burdened with extra weight and worse conversion on the guns, the 4.7 P-47D-28 does almost everything better than the N... I don’t know what gaijin did to it but it is not a good plane to fly atm
At least, thanks a lot for it! I have this plane, but i really have a hard time with it. Good video! (And for the 50.cal, i think the ground target or the tracer belt is better then the universal, but it's just my oppinion oppinion.)
Nagy Csabi in RB just take it to altitude and fire from long distance like 600 - 700 m.

I think I play so smart in this plane because it plays best how it looks. Use that weight to drop on people and use that momentum to get back up. The ultimate boom and zoomer. I like it more than all of my bf109s and fw190s which I have all of.
Edit: I thought I'd add, the tracer belts for this planes turn it into a flame thrower lighting planes on fire from a regular hit then it'll turn into a crit as you pull out. Absolutely amazing. This is the only plane where Im confident in a 1v4 if I have alt advantage.
Which one you think is better overall, the F4U-4 or the P-47 N/M?

Jengar i always find myself getting shotdown when trying to boom and zoom can you help me on what manouver i can use when im in defensive?

Boom and run is somethimes a better maneuver when you're going against a plane with a high climb rate, energy state or acceleration. (which advantages a lot of german and russian planes often have)
Also consider the optimal performance of the target plane in question at the altitude the engagement takes place at and try to slightly pull to the side to avoid its guns right after the attack. (gentle pull to conserve energy, the target will probably lose more energy than you trying to turn to get guns on you than you will, depending on the angle of the attack)
These planes can outturn certain Spitfires and run circles around them at a high enough altitude.
Don't know if you will see this but how is p47n doing without air spawn. Is side climbing working for it

its doing good, you do need extensive side climbing though in most models.

How about completely stock? It's nice to review a modded out plane but some of us just got it and have to suffer with it stock....

It is horrible stock, you climb like a bomber and can't really fight.
Often the match is already over when you finally reach some alt, either there are no enemy left at alt or you are one of the last of your team.
Sure, sometimes you get a lucky chance and a good kill, but I would say it is a very frustrating spading process.
lol I stopped playing War Thunder altogether not long after this post. Not because of this, but because War Thunder and Gaijin are trash in general for a thousand reasons....
The climb rate is really a problem in AB for this one.

Jengar it is a problem for other planes, basically cancer to fight against because it is always above you when it doesnt deserve to be. Stuff like spits and 109s gave up lots of things to get their high climb while this thing has the advantage without shortcomings. Imagine a spit doesnt break up at 800 and turns a bit worse, and goes faster. AND has broken 50s. the airspawn needs to go on all 4.3 + p47s
jovaan, exactly. I dont get why those things have airspawn anyway. Their climbrate is shit and they need altitude to work argument goes for a Fw A5 but nobody gives a shit. FUCKING PISSES ME OFF.
Sarp Kaplan actually p47 climb rates is not that shit compared to FW for example. But they have Huge Advantage by that ridiculous air spawn and massive energy at the start of the game. I could trick one at the time but what the hell you do if you are in situation facing 4 or more without any help of my teammates because of either they decided to climb 50 meters above sea level or to dumb enough to head-on against P47 diving on him with speed of 600km while he stalling himself in a climb.!!

Whats the difference between the N and M model?
ATOG V the m is lighter and the guns aren’t as far in the n. The m climbs better and is faster. The n rolls better and has a higher wing rip speed.

Long time viewer here! I heard that the air spawn will be disabled ,as the players complained that the p47 is too op. What do you think about this?
it will end the bolt reign and start another plane on the path to being the best plane. Until that is nerfed because ppl complain. Instead of complaining ppl should learn how to fight against certain planes.

KoxDeviLPL im not 100% sure. I just heard. Anyway, i would recommend you to buy the p47M. I think this is just a rumor, not a real fact.
Jengar well, flying A6M series with the P47 spam on effect is not exactly my definition of fun.
If you wanna fly the fastest plane, with the best weapons you should at least have to do the climbing to make it work. Short of sideclimbing for 20 minutes there's not really a way to counter a thunderbolt with even a half decent pilot at the stick. Fly head-on, open up those 8 50cals at 1.5 km away, turn off at 1km away use your speed to gain distance, and repeat. That's all they have to do. German cannons have neither the velocity nor the damage at that distance. And even if you do find yourself with an advantage over a bolt, all they have to do is dive and run to their AF.

This is now an utter piece of shit, no air spawn so you suffer from the issues you spoke of, your speed is good.. until you realize that any Yak in the game can outspeed you at any altitude you find yourself at because of the climb rate, glhf pick another plane or be a piñata for enemy planes.

@@jengar6258 yeah I would really like you to revisit this plane. I’ve been trying to spade her all night, and yeah it has been one of if not the worst stock grinds I’ve had. As I was rewatching this video I unlocked all the performance mods except G-suit, and it is now an absolute beast, and extremely enjoyable to fly. I’m still struggling to figure out where I want the convergence set at though, which is very odd for me, because with every other plane that has either 6 or 8 wing mounted 50 cals and APIT rounds I haven’t struggled at all, and find that set up to be my absolute favorite, and can hit targets farther out than any other weapon configuration. Her having the guns spread out so much farther is not as easy to get used to as I assumed it would be.

dogfighting in a p-47 in general is not a good idea paul, nothing cowardly about that.
Its just a cancer. Not worth to make a video about such a broken plane and weapons. Killing both the bomber, heavy fighter and even single engine gameplay at medium tiers. Its even worse than a yak-23 at 7.3.

thats why gaijin needs to stop basing br's on avarage player performance, and instead base it on maximum potential of plane performance.

Not broken at all since Allies teams have a average IQ of 70, they love turning with Japanese planes.
50.cal are broken, exploding planes and taking off both wings with single bursts. Its really sad to see because its no the first time gaijin applies this kind of buff.
Really lazy devs looking for ways to increase revenue instead of playerbase and instead of giving their trusty playerbase quality with better modes and gameplay.

Moxie i know what it is. But when you get hit and insta rip both wings it seems to me pretty unrealistic. 50s are not mini nukes. Besides, where is the bullet penetration we used to have? That was really cool
If an aircraft is travelling over 200mph (320+km) and the wings tears significantly enough to create a flap of metal, it would absolutely rip open.
better modes and gameplay are welcome, the 50 cals are quite good, maybe slightly too good compared to 20mm cannons, but they were very powerfull in reality as well.
