I really like the way you use the small block folded in half and then stitch down to form curves. I've only seen this done when making cathedral quilt blocks. Pretty!

It's about 13.75 inches. So could use 14 inches. Older Australian, I know both. 2.54 cm to one inch. But google has converters, just type in.
