The Andreja one made me snicker. When I heard her lamenting about on how New Atlantis paved over trees, I thought I understood she was the peaceful and naturalist type. Then I hear her telling me destroying things is more fun than building when I planted my 1st windmill for my outpost, I already started to get confused.
Yeah after hours of running around with her I found her a little weird to get use to because she's basically into all the violence and bad deeds just not when it goes too far like murdering innocent people also she cares about balance and shit.
I think she said easier to destroy thing
Having her bang on about not being together in the afterlife even though I picked serpents embrace trait and made a point of using it wherever possible was real annoying.
And yeah, her moral compass is like a fuckin bayblade, “yes, kill them alll!!!! Wait, not like that. Did you just steal something?!?!😮”

Yeah, I had her on board when I shot down an enemy UC ship. She proceeded to bitch at me for killing an innocent person lmao. My response "bitch, you shot a man the instant I met you." Dropped her off at the next outpost.
After 140 hours in Starfield, I admit every single one of these points is a 10/10. Masterpiece.

223 hours played so far and I've honestly had a great time. Amazing how each one of these is a 10/10 at describing so much with so little.
Also haven't listened to The Strokes in a minute, thx for that. Forgot how much i liked them.
So many things about things hit the right spot. Like finishing the Mantis quest, and being in the Key the raiders were like "If I see that Mantis I'll kill him." I was like oh yeah? Why don't you try right now? *So I started blastin.*
I at least waited until I handed over the Legacy to UC SysDef
I wanted to finish the CF quest first too, but it somehow glitched on my save the "The Best There Is" quest isn't triggering and I even tried to use console commands to advanced the quest but nothing worked. 😅

One thing Starfield definitely needs is the ability to asign where you're doors/ladders are going to be in your ship between modules.
I dont get why outpost management let's you fine tune so much, but the ship builder is lacking on that suggestion. Perhaps future content.

The space battles during the UC vs Crimson Fleet made my neighbors call the police on me, thinking domestic violence was going on in my household.

@@gooseloose682that's heavily dependent on how much evidence you find. You can lock up half the fleet's captains resulting in a MUCH easier time

According to people who still think it's 2018 we are all idiots who clearly can't comprehend that "Bethesda is totally bad guys! They were never good despite have next to no major misses till 4 and even then it was still acknowledged as a good game just a subpar rpg, we definitely aren't just parroting content creators who made it big on the 76 hate train so we can be cool hipsters"
Everyone does. Also it is currently perceived to be cool to hate it, so folks who enjoy it are hating it publicly. This is the internet, expect no less. Truth is, folks hating on it are as cringy as my parents.
I've been having a good time with it, definitely feels like a Bethesda game
This best way I’ve found to describe it is, they weren’t trying to do anything new they were doing what they knew how to do as flawless as possible
@@verdantvagrant7353 It seems like Starfield was a passion project they really wanted to get off their chest before Elder Scrolls 6, so maybe there is a lot more in store for Elder Scrolls 6, Starfield is different because it's the first entry in a new IP. No baggage to worry about.
@@verdantvagrant7353 But to the space game fan in me, this game is absolutely something new. When was the last time we had a huge space rpg where you could explore hundreds of planets? Closest thing I can think of is Mass Effect 1, which is by far my favorite in the series (hot take, i know).

What cracked me up is the “Players trying to navigate a 4-story ship they just made”. There’s already plenty of UA-cam videos showing these massive ships. Dude you can easily get lost in those. It’s insane lol 😂. Plus the Freestar Ranger clip was very accurate.

Sarah's moral compass is just as confusing as Andreja's. *WARNING: Some light spoilers ahead*
During the first story mission to Neon where you go with Walter, Sarah was super upset at me for letting the guy who stole the artifact go because "he's a thief". Completely ignoring the fact that him stealing it in the first place is the SOLE reason we were able to get the artifact, and that if he hadn't stole it the only way for us to get it would have been stealing it. Not to mention he only stole it after being fired on short notice after 10 years with his company, like no wonder he was pissed but Sarah just ignores all of that and is all "bUt hE sToLe iT".
Then later on in the story she's more than happy to steal an artifact from a collector who has no interest in selling it, literally the exact thing she was so upset at me for letting someone go for. Both her and Andreja have a "rules for thee not for me" kind of attitude and it gets pretty annoying really fast.
That's why humans suck. Robots is where it's at.
I ditch the humans in fo4 and built my own partner and they're super supportive. I haven't built robots yet in Starfield. But I'm hoping they'd be just as good as fo4
Pretty sure all the followers (except the fan) are like that. Coe had the same reactions, and he even complained about me meteing out justice on my own after a failed persuasion check, but was more than happy to assist me blasting through dozens of innocent guards on my way there.

Andreja says the same thing at that exact scenario. As much as I enjoyed the game, bethesda really dropped the ball with the companions. Every single companion has the exact same views on everything. They all hate pirates, they have same outlook on every major side quest.
For example, they marketed the game as be whatever you want, become a pirate if you want. But god forbid if you want to become a pirate with a companion because there is not a single companion in the constellation that will support your piracy playstyle.

@@dependent-ability8631 I realized pretty early on that the Vanguard Obliterator Autoprojector is one of the best non-missile weapons in the game, is available almost at the start of the game, and has no skill or level requirements. You can put six of them on a ship and pretty much wreck anything you encounter shy of the legendary ships. I'm sure enemies will level to the point where I need to do something different, but it's pretty much covered all my offense for quite some time, so I've just been focusing on improving ship defense now.

I'm a person that doesn't have time for space games like elite dangerous and star citizen and so I have to say the ability to fast travel is so damn nice plus you look like your watching a movie that your taking part in
"the ability to fast travel" you mean the only way to travel lmao, what a trash game imagine gta but you have not an open world but you just get in the car and get telported to the next story mission
They could have easily made it so as you flew closer to a celestial body, you would go through, essentially, an invisible loading screen. Meaning. you get to within say, 2km of a planet, and the game loads you in and out of the cells with no black screen. It could've just looked like you we're still flying (like making a GIF on the spot and using that as the "loading screen"). Instead I'm looking at the menu and black screens every 5 minutes, smdh.

That's how I view it. It functions like a scene transition, skipping over the boring drive time. RDR2 added the cinematic mode to keep it from being a horse riding simulator.

My first experience with Andreja as a companion. "What are you doing/!?!!!!" "Attacking the Varuun ships that are attacking us..." "How dare you!!!!!!" "But there's five of them and they'll destroy us..." "We need to talk NOW!!!!!" Kind of wish I could throw her out the airlock at that point. Obviously got destroyed and had to reload. Not sure what happened, but guess who's never coming along again.

@@davefilmsproduction3439 You still can. The game has a *lot* of companions, they just don't all have a likes/dislikes system. The main 4 at constellation are like fallout 4 companions, but the rest are above the quality of skyrim companions and have a lot more dialogue than I thought they would

Rebuilt the habs and weapons systems of the longsword, probably not a single stock component on that ship anymore.

Starfield makes you appreciate fast travel for convenience and QoL in other BGS games, while in Starfield it is a must and part of gameplay loop on a consistent basis.

@@daggercatz7297 Id argue its more akin to oblivion meets daggerfall but in space with laser guns exploration and some of the mechanics feel very daggerfally while interaction and character building is more leaning on that mid 2000s bethesda game design
