Can you imagine if he'd never become an actor and just taken over the family bakery instead? "Cupcakes...I baked, three dozen...I can see now...they're gone."
My favorite actor of all time. Its amazing how versatile he was. He was a dramatic actor in 70s and early 80s, then became a villain role actor when he had the scary stare with his eyes in 80s and early 90s, but when he got older and his look became tamer he took on comedy roles, and amazing excelled in all these in the late 90s and 2000s. King of cameos and weird characters, but such a likable guy. Oh yeah, and he danced through all these decades every other 10th movie or so!
This proves you don’t need tap shoes to tap dance, of course this is Chris Walken we are talking about. I’m always waiting to see him again in movies ❤
Actually Christopher Walken does a lousy Christopher Walken impression. In all interviews I'm waiting for him to sound cool like the impressionists, but get nothing. Seriously.
drServitis I've noticed this myself....is it possible that Chris talks more like the impersonators when he in fact is acting? So far that has been my experience. Seems like this is part of his on screen persona with a touch of creep behind it😶😉
I always wondered if Walken's strange cadence in speaking was partly a result of his having immigrant parents. Though I have my doubts about my theory anymore. His mother was a Scottish immigrant and his father was German.
@@mrsmacca126 Nah.. not nearly as wild as Walken , just long and scruffy..and he didn't look half as cool with it. Not stylish. Walken has styled hair, it is immaculate, but it didn't look styled, or fixed, it looked like it just came to be , it blew in the wind like that and yet never looked scruffy... and he looks stylish in it.
@@cisium1184 Elvis had big hair, agreedn but it don't look anything like Walken's hair.. he had the pompadour, which is way more tight styled on top..lots of grease/gel , it looked shiny. It always looked like it was immoveable Walken always had lots of hair, pointing up , waves, unlike Elvis, his hair always looked like it just ended up like that from a strong breeze.. eg it just "happened" and its not fixed. Opposite of Elvis even
Christopher Walken- brilliant, self-effacing, multi-talented... I fell in love with his performance when seeing him for the first time in The Dead Zone. The man's a genius!!!
I like his thinking about money, money doesn't make the man, just look at a the phoonies Hollywood has made, the future actors and actresss could learn a lot about intilledment for this man
I’ve watched mor recent interviews and what’s great is the older he gets the more he doesn’t hold back what makes him so funny. I think it’s because he’s really self aware and plays it off but it’s a great ability cultivate as one ages.
At 7:00 He says,"He invited me to eat lunch one day and he was eating penne with pomodoro" Pomodoro means tomato in Italian. The dish is actually called Pasta Al Pomodoro. It is a very light dish which has olive oil, tomatoes, basil and pasta.
Hey, I remember this episode! I was only 11 years old and didn't know who Christopher Walken was, but I'd been excited about the new BATMAN movie for months, so my parents must have let me stay up to watch the interview. It's funny, because I can barely remember anything other than that.

I LOVE this man!! He’s so quirky, talented and so unexpected! Definitely one in a million!!
Chris is such a badass. I can't believe he's been married to the same woman for 43 years. I wish more of Hollywood was like him.
That will never happen
Would you let loose of this man if you were married to him? lol

One of the very few actors, and I do mean few, that I would LOVE to meet. ♥️👍♥️👍
Nobody could sport that haircut and look cool, NOBODY
Except Christopher Walken.
Elvis could. That's who he copied the hair from. He wanted to be Elvis.
Nicholas Cage, too

He would make such a sexy vampire.
He's so beautiful
Christopher Walken’s condensed but very memorable role in Pulp Fiction was just around the corner (1995).
One of my ABSOLUTE favorites
What a guy... my favourite actor
What I enjoy about Walken.. is he allows you to enter into the movie process with him.. as he describes certain movie clips.
I'm pretty sure if vampires existed that Walken would be one of them.
he can certainly bite my neck anytime;) heehee
PERV!!!
Interesting you say that because on a Conan interview he said he was only 9 and I thought the same thing haha.

Nice tap dance. Didn't know that about him! Love this actor👍
Who's watching chris walken during quarantine?
David Bowie's long lost brother
cross between Bowie and Scott Weiland
And Michael Shannon
I forgot how much I liked David Letterman. Christopher Walken is always great to watch.
Dave was still Dave in '92. He became a lot less likeable after Carson passed him up in '93.
He’ll be the male Betty White in about 30 years we hope. Take care of yourself Mr. Walken. Hollywood needs at least one class-act!
Betty White would be honored.
Wouldn't that be wonderful!?!
My fav.. "Who Am I This Time" with Susan Serandon
Love love him for 40 years.🥰🥰
Christopher Walken and I walked along
Under branches lit up by the moon
Posing our questions to Owl and Eeyore
On a day that would end all too soon 🎶

Christopher Walken won an Oscar for best supporting actor in The Deer Hunter!

Such a freaky looking man in the most interesting way

No, it's a myth. People were born with no privacy, stability, or self-reliance since forever.
