Regardless of how far the pin goes in, it HAS TO BE TAPPED TIGHT by hammer. safety pins are safety pins, not pin placement marks. For all of your safety.
Any issues with using the smaller Intimidator 150 moving head?
How do you put the safety pins in the cotter pins? The directions are not written well.
??? What is the advantage of the pole system verses the truss version??? The audio was fine, it served a purpose, message received loud and clear! Good video.
What size Allen key?
Sot the advantage of the pole system can be explained in this video. The box truss would take up half my van.

Nice video and makes me want to go out and purchase new totems. One suggestion - consider using a clip on mic and external voice recorder (a Zoom H1 or similar product, perhaps) to capture the audio portion. This will allow the volume to be consistent throughout the recording, and then you can combine the audio and video before uploading. It was just a bit distracting with the levels. Other than that, nice video

Would a ADJ Mega Par Profile fit inside the totem as a uplight?
+S.S. Entertainment I am not sure we don't have the ADJ Mega par. :( A Trusst Glo totem is the same size as regular box truss so if it works in regular box truss you should be okay.
How do you secure a moving head to the top plate?

***** Use the mounting brackets that came with your moving head. You might need to drill some extra holes into the top plate.

Hi Jer. Any intuitive way of mounting a TV onto the glo totem and scrim? Does a glo tetem even support a flat 50" tv? I can't imagin how people mount tvs onto scrimmed totems. Any info would be great! And I love you informative video. Thanks for sharing. So valuable to us mobile DJs :-)
yeah we do it all the time. as long as the system is vertical and the pins are in tight with a TV mount it will be very stable. IMPORTANT: I RECOMMEND SANDBAGS OR WEIGHTS. There are two options for the scrims. one, there are zipper scrims which will have holes for mounting bracket and o-clamps. this is the cleanest option. two, the glo totem scrim gets pulled up all the way to the o-clamps and the TV basically hides the exposed trussing.
