great video Brian and great idea. if the totems are still set up try the pocket wash zooms in a stationary vertical position with just the zoom working. I have tried similar and its pretty decent. I'm in the process of setting up a couple of similar covered totems but with the horse chasing 'dream colour' type LED strips on all 4 posts pointing inwards and initial testing looks very good.
Great idea man ! When it is 4 , it looks like light bouncing . That is so good when there is dance music , to make people bouncing too :) Can that bouncing speed it up ?
I'd love to. However, with my physical limitations, I's hard to do anything other than basic set ups on the road alone. It has to do with the time it takes me to do them & allocated energy levels
looks good, especially the 4 heads, but maybe more suitable for younger parties, or after the aunties have left the wedding party? But, just thinking out loud, not really a value for money use of generally more expensive fixtures? Cool idea though.
I did mention the idea from mounting from above lol, now ive seen it thanks to you i am definitely going to do it. Wonder what would happen if a beam or 2 was put inside maybe even a laser inside. What about having fog come out the top of a totem. Some crazy ideas i know but they may work
congratulations dufus.... KIDDING! I dig this idea and think that upside down looks great. wonder is you could mount two heads horizontal left and right in a horizontal truss? might look cool.
I thought the idea was damned GOOD! Maybe call them "warp cores" since that's pretty much what they look like with the internal lighting. I'd like to see this with a water effect light, and adj micro galaxian or micro gobo inside, at the same time. I've seen it done with table scrims, but just curious as to how it'll look in a totem, um, warp core.
Ok that is just all 4 running master/slave I wanted to see them DMXed so you could achieve contrasting colors. Oh yeah you don't do a whole lot of DMX. I know you do some, especially to achieve specific colors in your uplighting but i think you run most of your moving heads with their built in shows. Try this master/slave the top pair and then do a separate master slave on the bottom pair running a different show see if that gets you contrasting colors.
Cool effect 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 going to try with my inno pockets
good club lighting with the 4 maybe a little to busy for a wedding. I like the Idea and the name movement totems.
Great idea
Something different here. Hadn't thought about either of these methods. Appreciate the experimentation!
Good parison, which gives me a much better idea of what to look for in each wash application. Helps justify the price of different pars.
Looks great
LOOKS GREAT!!
Thank you is perfect
Fantastic!
very cool. best yet
Wow! Great idea 💡
That actually looks super cool. I like it.
Excellent effect (y)
Nice job Brian. I think it's very cool. Z4's looked great master slaved.
Brilliant!
thx Brian. Great. Just "the" idea I needed as I have 2 Inno Washes left and didn´t know where to put them.
The lights being mounted on top looks way nicer than just being on the bottom for some odd reason but with 4 moving heads it looks really crazy cool!
good job
With the 4 it looks good
pretty cool
Very cool!
Man, once you put all 4 in there, they looked amazing!
genius as always pal...
That is so awesome!!! have you tried maybe a 24 LED light bar?
I'm stealin' it!
Love it! Keep thinking outside the box !
Nice!
Really cool idea Brian ! Love it !!!

4 is cool
Like what you did that it was cool I want to try some moving heads I want to do some totems
Great idea man ! When it is 4 , it looks like light bouncing . That is so good when there is dance music , to make people bouncing too :) Can that bouncing speed it up ?
4 is bad ass !
I need this. Very nice looking. How tall are the totums?
Four totums with two moving heads each would make one hell of a show.
Could we see more gig logs please and see how these ideas look on the road?
I'd love to. However, with my physical limitations, I's hard to do anything other than basic set ups on the road alone. It has to do with the time it takes me to do them & allocated energy levels
LOVE it! Thanks for the seed.

ik like this call it tomen fx
4
that looks so cool. how would you mount par cans (led cans) off the side of the truss with a skrim on it though? anyone with any ideas
The 4 head look pretty cool! But, what about the heat? The heads are enclosed :S
It should be fine. The LEDs produce little to no heat & the motors have fans, plus the covers breath
this is a probably my favorite of your ideas! you gotta put some nice moving heads on top though lol
congratulations dufus.... KIDDING!

now what would it look like with gobo's?

Badass
I thought it looked pretty cool but I think an uplight would probably suffice
Cool vid Brian & forget the nonsense bad comments. They talk s#!+ but u know they will always end up using ur ideas @some point anyways lol.
could you drop the full name of the totom
It looks like a lot of money invested in totems...
Whoa! copyright this idea -NOW!
