Another interesting example for another video might be Wildermyth.
It's a nice procedural story game. Play it too much and you'll see through its process, but essentially, the characters all have personalities, and each personality has potential random stories that can emerge as you proceed through the story, various outcomes alter traits and this offer new events as the story emerges, dialogs are altered based on traits and essentially, the game otherwise plays like a tactical RPG over the lifetime of your party. Romances, births, deaths, losses and gains. Lots of minor dramas to the back drop of some calamity.
A very fun time and a simple but very effective Procedural story system.
