I have only this in the 12cm version. I also got the old McJerk this McTrazer replaced. There is only a minor change in swimming pattern between the two 12cm models, bareky noticeable. McTrazer has more elaborate colors and has contoured geels in the bait. I have to say i prefer the McJerk in the realistic colors they had, i use them as my natural looking jerkbaits. I will buy some more 12cm McTrazers, the gold one and maybe the blue. One thing to take notice about the 16,5cm McTrazer is its heavy heavy weight, 150grams, about ~ 5.5 oz. This is a positive for those with rod casting 180-300g as it will get the rod working when casting. If you use such heavy casting rods, i would suggest you should try the McTrazer 16,5cm out. For the record i really dont like when companys come out saying they have a new bait released and what it really is is a slightly modified version of the old bait with a new name. I don't like that at all, as it could get people to buy some of them only to notice that if you didnt know what bait you had on the rod, you could say Which is which. Peace out! I can say that this was amazing quality for a video about a lure. Amazing editing. My two critiques about this video however. Firstly. The visual quality of the camera. When watching the top water perspective of the lure running along side your boat was just a poor visual effect to demonstrate the amazing action of the lure. Secondly; YOU DIDN’T CATCH A FISH WITH IT. I couldn’t imagine something big like a pike, or a massive catfish, alligator gar, or absolute hog of a bass, swallowing those two lures look high quality. I’d want to by two of each if I had the money for them.

The big mctracer is huuuge. I've not gone heavier or bigger than guppie on hard baits.
