I have two of their rods. Great rods and great value. I won't be buying their reels. It takes a lot if time to get reel design and manufacturing down. Of course having said that they are probably made by a large manufacturer and just changed cosmetically.

Precis beställt mig ett Prorex X 8'0" -120g Lazy Pike från senaste X generationen v2. Sitter bokstavligen och väntar på att det ska komma. Aldrig känt på det, bara deras X Target 7'1" -110g. Tror ja blir nöjd med det, köpt för de tillfällena jag har gott utrymme runt mig och ja vill komma längre ut från land. Det bör ju kasta längre än mitt 6'4" -110g Greys spö, men Greys kastar längre än SG 2 POWER 7'3" 70-130g.. Grey's spöt är antagligen från innan pure Fishing tog över företaget, med tanke på vilken balans och otroligt fin klinga det är på det. Knäcker allt pure Fishing kan erbjuda med råge. Så jag hoppas ja kanske hittar nåt liknande i detta spöt fast i längre form. Jag hoppas också att det verkligen håller klassningen, dvs kastar 120g men inte mera, för ja kastar ofta numera 42-50g beten. De gillar jag med SG, dom är bra klassade i maxvikt och lite högt klassade minsta kastvikt, klarar ofta 20g lättare beten än angivet lika bra som lägsta vikt enligt spöt. Daiwa anger ju inte en nedre gräns i iaf de flesta Prorex spöna. Hoppas också på ett kortare bakhandtag för längden, arbeterar mkt med betet och hoppas kunna göra de även med detta spöt.

I just bought the baitcaster version of Daiwa Prorex X (power jig) for zander. It’s really good and doesn’t break the bank.

Are all of these meant for treble hook baits? I was looking at the expride for lighter paddle tail soft swimbaits + jerk baits (110's). Is this not the best double duty?

I'm just wondering why shimano would say that adrena blank is a regular action 😅 that's what stopped me wanting one until I seen this video, but the guy talking about snapped tips also puts me off 😅 can't say any of my shimano rods have ever snapped though

I have 3 of them and my favorite is the zodias. The expride is legit and light but day in and day out the zodias does everything I will ever need. It's landed 100s of 3lb+ bass and countless giant catfish by accident. Great rod overall for day in and out.

You’ll like the MH poison adrena, it’s better for jerk bait fishing.

Only warning I’ll add to video is that the fast action tips on the poison adrenas new series have a factory flaw or bad design, I own 4 total and my 2 fast action versions have snapped tips, I’m very good with my equipment and take exceptional care of all of it as it is expensive…. Factory replaced them but they are still in the shipping tubes they came from. Good video

I just found your channel and I am a Shimano for Life fisherman. I have each of these models and I completely agree with you. I’m retired and live in Raleigh North Carolina USA and I fish in 2 Bass clubs in tournaments. I love my Poison Adrena with a Metanium reel the most.👍🍀😎🍀🎣

Mine full at 7.1 to 1 has a 36" ipt. They measure the ipt at full spool. I measured my reels ipt with a tape neasure. So my lexa at half dpool would fall off to 28" ipt. My tranx 20p 8. 5 to 1 has same ipt as my 7.1 to 1 lexa 300.

You skipped the Curado, which is a better jerk bait rod, in my opinion, over the zodiac. Maybe you don't get the Curado over there. I even take the Curado over the Expride for Jerkbait rod

Put an aldebaran mgl on those setups and you might 💩 your pants after feeling how light they can be!

Smallmouth fishermen? It’s cool to see someone compare all these rods. I fish rivers for smallmouth so med and med light are my thing. I have the adrena it’s just a tad too fast my liking on finesse jerkbaits. It would handle the 110’s and up nice, I think. I built my own jerkbait bait rod from a north fork c602 3 power blank on a exo carbon handle and reel seat. Paired it with a bates hundo and it’s my favorite rod. The whole combo is 8 ounces.

the Curado 6-10 Medium is an Outstanding Jerk Bait rod for the money. but I compleley agree that the Expride is the Finest 6-10 Jerk Bait rod made. I have all those models that you reveiwed and they all have thier places in my boat.

Diawa is notorious for doing things like this. Their marketing team does a great job at sorta fudging the specs on their reels. Some reels say it has a set of beefed up gears on HD models when they are the same on as the standard models. They rebrand reels with different marketing strategies to get people to buy the “New line of reels and you crack them open and they are identical. The will do the same with reels line capacity by changing the line diameter specs like using 12lb test instead of 14lb test to make it look like a deeper spool. I hate these marketing tactics they use to rebrand a reels platform like the Limited Edition Steez that is no different than a regular Steez and they charge you &100 more for it when the only difference is the markings on the reels or different paint. Diawa is the king of smoke and mirrors. Do they make good products? Absolutely but I don’t like the way they try to get every cent of the consumers money. It’s just nonsense
