    Your video brought back memories of our Saturday nights growing up. We always rolled our hair for church the next morning. Momma would have us sit in front of her, and one by one she rolled our hair. I loved the end result of your video.

    I would just LOVE if you would do a video just on your eyebrows! They are wonderful and I am jealous. 😂

    Very pretty!
    I thought you had cut your hair short when I glanced at the picture lol!
    We tried, years ago those velcro rollers when I was little. We have that lovely curly hair that doesn't really like to keep the ringlets it can make, but likes to be a frizzy mess instead. When we tried those rollers, we almost couldn't get them put! Stuck a little too good with our hair.
    And I have a very sensitive head, unfortunately, so I can't sleep in curlers without a very bad headache.
    My sister found, 4 years ago, a true vintage traveling bonnet hair dryer, and it runs, but we have been too scared of it to try it out! Don't want to catch fire or something, LOL!
    After watching this video, maybe we should try those curlers again....

      Yes you have to be very careful with Velcro! My grandmother slept in small Velcro rollers ever night and I dont know how she did it.
      Pillow rollers might be a safer choice on curlier hair or pin curls. I would love to find a vintage hooded dryer some day!

    Hey hun I love This. Do u think you could do a Marilyn Monroe makeup tut mid 50’s either on yourself or someone else. I’d also love to see an Ava Gardner hair roller tutorial. For reference her hair like in Pandora and the Flying Dutchman. I love what ur posting Tessa. Keep up the good work honey. Honestly I’m so grateful for you and what u do. You are helping so many people x ❤

      These all sound like great ideas! Thank you for the suggestions! I’m struggling to get videos out lately so it so nice to hear positive feedback. Next time I go in for a cut I plan to go even shorter so I can hopefully attempt more Monroe esque styles 🥰

      @@mrstdupuy can’t wait to see the shorter look. Such a coincidence. My hair is naturally dark brown but not very vibrant. And it’s very curly as you know. And it’s down to just under my breast area.
      It’s currently a dark reddy brown. And tommorow I’m getting a Julia roberts red. And getting it cut to collarbone length. To also achieve a more Marilyn style haha. I’d love to go blonde.
      I’ve been blonde before for two years. But it damaged my hair so much. My hairdresser told me curly hair is especially sensetive to bleach. Which makes sense. As my hair has a lot of shrinkage. I can get away with it being cut to just under my collarbone and still have the Marilyn style I want.
      I don’t have to cut it any shorter. Which is great for me. So then I can still wear it curly without it looking too short.
      All your followers love you dearly. And wish you and your fam the best. God bless you dear. Hope you have a great day/ night. It’s day hear. About 9:30am. And it’s my dads bday haha.

    Love your hairstyle. I have a bob hair cut as well, but my hair will not hold a curl. Your hair looks like a Marilyn Monroe hairdo. Although, you are much prettier. Thanks for the video.

    It turned out amazing! I have a question about the lottabody setting lotion. Every spray bottle i put it in ends up just squirting a stream instead of an even spray. I thought it was the first bottle I had it in, but I switched it out and it still won’t spray normally. It’s made it hard to get an even distribution…have you had this problem? What kind of spray bottle do you use? Thanks so much 😊

    • @mrstdupuy
      @mrstdupuy  Рік тому +1

      Are you diluting it with water? You might need to spritz sone hot water through the nozzle pert to help prevent buildup but I haven’t experienced an issue with my spray bottles

    • @z.deutch1334
      @z.deutch1334 Рік тому +1

      @Lily get an empty spray bottle with nozzles "spray" and "stream", and turn nozzle to the "spray" option to get a fine mist

    Thanks for the video. How many parts of water and lottabody did you use when preparing the setting lotion?

      I use a one to three ratio but you can adjust for your hair type

    My hair has grown back after illness and I'll try to have the High Society Grace Kelly bob style. I'm getting married in a year. My hair is similar to yours but slightly thinner. Which method should i try first: pin curl heated roller velcro roller or curling iron? ❤

    • @mrstdupuy
      @mrstdupuy  8 місяців тому +1

      What ever method you are comfortable with. Curling iron is good for practice and you can secure curls with clips to set the style before brushing out. Also foam rollers with have the best hold. I would see what method your hair takes to best.

      @@mrstdupuy thank you - I live in a tiny English village but can get to London to check out different stores and options. I'm wondering if rollers will give me more of a lift and hold for the "big day". I have time to experiment x
