Watching this, is so painful. We are going to this level that the government can't help us anymore, and we'll putting ourselves in to danger and in to chaos. 2020 give us hope.
Captain-Egy Thinking and knowing are two different things. Would you rather think it's good and be disappointed on release (AKA 90% of hyped up AAA games). Or would you rather be neutral and be pleasantly surprised if on the off chance it is good on release? (especially knowing the AAA track record) Buuuut... I did play they beta, the foundations of a good game are there, but so were they in R6S and they still managed to fuck that up. So it's looking like it's going to be a good game. poop
xXDAPHUNKXx Good mechanics, lack of features and content from previous generation but still asking full price? with microtransactions? No it's sub standard loss of potential. A quick cash in. Ruined by ubisoft paranoia and control freak tendencies. It's a shell of a game, if they had sold it for 1/2 or 1/3 the price it MIGHT be a good game for the money. And don't be an apologist and say "I got my moneys worth" because that's just excusing them to make more featureless, content devoid games at full price. As long as they manage to distract you with a few hours of post-structuralist, instant gratification gaming. UT2004 has more robust multiplayer features than R6S.
Ubisoft on creating the Division: “Wow! This concept has potential to be an awesome Tom Clancy game and an awesome story! Let’s reveal some awesome trailers and gameplay demos over the years, and then cut away most of the features and have our fans overestimate their initial expectations and hype upon the final release!” They had better not fuck up with the Division 2.
Benjamin Keslar woah wait you actually have an underground laboratory where you plan this stuff? Wouldn't you have to know how to keep the power plants running and not to mention how would you sustain a steady flow of oil?
The strange thing is this is something that could end up happening for real. If you look at the logic diseases spread instantly just like that including the common flu. Government officials aware of the possibility that this will happen one day could have a team already set up and they are likely immune to smallpox and the flu. A state could crumble in 5 days just like that and most likely even sooner. There's no way to get away from it so we may as well be prepared for what may happen in the possible near future.
On Black Friday, a smallpox pandemic, transmitted by a virus planted on banknotes, sweeps through New York City. The disease, known as "Green Poison" or "The Dollar Flu", causes widespread chaos, and Manhattan is placed under quarantine. The U.S. Government activates sleeper agents in the population who operate for the Strategic Homeland Defense Division, or simply "The Division", to assist emergency responders, now called the Joint Task Force (JTF), in restoring order. In Brooklyn, the protagonist, a Division agent, assists the JTF before planning to depart for the Quarantine zone with fellow agent Faye Lau. However, the VTOL meant to take them there is destroyed in an explosion, killing the Division Commander along with most of the second wave and wounding Faye Lau. Arriving in a JTF helicopter instead, the Division agents reclaim the James A. Farley Post Office Building as their base of operations. From there, the agents undertake assignments to rescue important personnel, help in restoring the base of operations to full working capacity and combat criminal groups, such as the Rioters, common street thugs in New York who generally want to take advantage of the quarantine, the Rikers, escapees from Rikers Island, and the Cleaners, insane New York Sanitation workers who wield flamethrowers and believe everyone is infected. In the course of the game, the agent helps rescue important personnel like Dr. Jessica Kandel, Captain Roy Benitez and Paul Rhodes. These personnel head the Medical, Security and Tech wings of the base of operations respectively. Agents also recover a sample of Green Poison. Studying the sample reveals the virus was manufactured and then modified heavily by a controversial biologist named Gordon Amherst. Eventually, the agents find footage of Division agent Aaron Keener going rogue and killing other agents, having gone insane after witnessing the chaos and destruction caused during the breakdown of order following the initial outbreak. It is also discovered Keener and the rest of the first wave of agents who went rogue along with him are assisting the "Last Man Battalion" (LMB), a traitorous and fascist private military company that was abandoned by the government during the evacuation, and are now hostile to it. Working together, these two groups destroyed the VTOL and killed the Commander to weaken Division operations in New York. Intercepting a signal from the Russian consulate, the agents attempt to rescue Vitaly Tchernenko, a Russian virologist who claims to have information on the Green Poison. However, he is kidnapped by Keener and the LMB before the Division can reach him. After helping the JTF secure supplies and weapons, the JTF and Division agents launch an attack on the LMB's base, the evacuated United Nations headquarters. The agent finds footage of Keener and his fellow rogue agents abandoning the LMB, with Tcherneko as their prisoner. The leader of the LMB, Charles Bliss, attempts to escape in a helicopter, but the agent destroys the vehicle, killing Bliss. Lau informs the agent that with most threats destroyed or weakened, New York is approaching stability, but an unknown signal leads the agent to a secluded laboratory. There, they find Dr. Amherst's remains, having discovered that he has died from exposure to his own virus. They also find a message from Keener, showing he has the technology to manufacture a new strain of Green Poison and intends to do so, and mysteriously tells the agent to explore the center of Manhattan, called the “Dark Zone.” The agent is informed that the information in the lab will further the development of a vaccine and is shown a recovered message from Amherst. In the message, Amherst reveals he engineered Green Poison as part of his eco-terrorist plan to decimate the human race and preserve the planet.

Would you rather think it's good and be disappointed on release (AKA 90% of hyped up AAA games).
Or would you rather be neutral and be pleasantly surprised if on the off chance it is good on release? (especially knowing the AAA track record)
Buuuut... I did play they beta, the foundations of a good game are there, but so were they in R6S and they still managed to fuck that up.
So it's looking like it's going to be a good game.
poop
+AzaIndustries R6S is good now I have faith that this will be a decent game.
xXDAPHUNKXx
Good mechanics, lack of features and content from previous generation but still asking full price? with microtransactions?
No it's sub standard loss of potential. A quick cash in. Ruined by ubisoft paranoia and control freak tendencies.
It's a shell of a game, if they had sold it for 1/2 or 1/3 the price it MIGHT be a good game for the money.
And don't be an apologist and say "I got my moneys worth" because that's just excusing them to make more featureless, content devoid games at full price.
As long as they manage to distract you with a few hours of post-structuralist, instant gratification gaming.
UT2004 has more robust multiplayer features than R6S.
it's a good game
2020 be like: who wants to roleplay The Division?
3:10 "they said it was just the flu"
Uh oh I cawght cawona viwus UwU
MR BIGSAUCE
If you seriously talk like this
In real life
You are insane and need help
Division 1 story is better than the division 2
The name of the girl who died in the cinematic is sarah? Joel is that you?
If there was a movie for this game I would give anything to watch it.
Who knew that something like this could become reality. The House of Cards are standing, for how long though.
Ubisoft on creating the Division: “Wow! This concept has potential to be an awesome Tom Clancy game and an awesome story! Let’s reveal some awesome trailers and gameplay demos over the years, and then cut away most of the features and have our fans overestimate their initial expectations and hype upon the final release!”
They had better not fuck up with the Division 2.
wait wait wait... dark winter was real in real life or based on the game...?
Dark Winter was real
Captain-Egy was? FUCK
Hahahaha
Benjamin Keslar woah wait you actually have an underground laboratory where you plan this stuff? Wouldn't you have to know how to keep the power plants running and not to mention how would you sustain a steady flow of oil?
??
I feel like the story has powerful meaning behind it, its a real shame this wasn't translated very well into the final game.
Aparently small-pox makes your skin bullet absorbing.
The good thing is that we still see it.
If this scenario really happened, it might sound fucked up but I'd take up the cause with the cleaners.
Overwatch Soldier I'd go with LMB
ToXiC_ 450 The hard part about that is actually trying to join them.
Overwatch Soldier remember that jtf guy from the video intel LMB in action
ToXiC_ 450 Vaguely, yeah.
Magni56 I wouldn't be doing it to burn out the virus, just to protect my self from being burnt alive and getting free weapons.
Dark humor of UA-cam recommendation system.
I love DIVISION
Division could have been a game with amazing story... The lore behind the story is fantastic...
Who knows maybe they are telling the future
+El Moist Taco only sounds legit
+El Moist Taco I like my tacos moist ( ̄^ ̄)ゞ
I feel like this would be an amazing Netflix show.
"Rebuild the world" I thought it was only Manhattan/New York City.
Moral of the story: wear a hazmat suit on Black Friday.
9:10 music??? It's so beautiful
Glitch mob-Better hide better run
Darude-Sandstorm
in tesco the division was 11 pound and when I got it was pretty good
Those who have watched this and feel it I know you'll be ready! When and if the time comes we will bring the pain!
This is spooky...COVID-19 2020
“One day there will be a pandemic”
“They said it was “just the flu””.
... oh man, this some simpsons level predictions
This feels like the Chinese played this game before making the coronavirus.
this is actually happening today..... division has predicted the future
so basically..this is what happens when you don't get a credit card
lol
I play this game everyday still so it's very surreal with the coronavirus outbreak happening
The Dark Zone = Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, Seattle, Washington
Who knew that this would start becoming more of a reality everyday now in 2020
It's Time for The Division 2
Check out the new video for it here : ua-cam.com/video/X2E3Hxco82M/v-deo.html

Nobody:
the US in 2020:
This did not age well
Heres the thing. It says theres no power but in game the electronic billboards, christmas lights, phones, laptops, tvs are still on in the city
They really got those right but much slower with covid-19 I mean look at trade and stock right now.
Had more cinematics than the actual game
Oh fuck, this might be it
The first 3 minutes and 7 seconds was a documentary, Directive 51 is a real thing and Dark Winter really happened. This game is just a representation of what could have happened. The creators of The Division were inspired by the Dark Winter Operation, that's why this game exists.
why does this hit me so hard?
Mindless what about now
lol it's happening
I'm not going shopping on Black Friday anytime soon.
