    Hi- love all your videos so helpful!! I’m making some post earrings to sell and I’ve used that same gorilla glue, and locktite but after 24 hrs I can pull the post off. What could I be doing wrong? I’ve even tried roughing up both surfaces

    Another question! How do you store your off cuts or unused clay?

  • @caiticork8786
    @caiticork8786 3 роки тому +2

    I’ve seen some people file/sand down their posts to make them rough? They said it allows them to adhere to the clay better? Have you done this?

    • @SusanNagy
      @SusanNagy 3 роки тому

      I think it’s recommended to sand the surfaces as the grit gives something more grippable for the glue to hold on if the surface is too smooth especially with super glues it can simply crack off. Metal doesn’t bond great with other materials especially.

    • @RaisingNobles
      @RaisingNobles  3 роки тому

      I have seen some people do that but I have never needed to. My technique holds the posts just fine.

    Hi Kristen!.
    Can you please make a video on how to set a small business. I've been working with Clay for years but I'm scare of selling online because I don't know the steps I need to make. Do I need to register or jave a license to sell stuff with the name I use. I've been selling my earrings at my husband's job only and when I go out people ask me about my earrings and who made them when when I say me and they ask If I have a shop its so disappointing everytime I say I don't have one.
    If you already have a video about it can you let me know please. Thanks in advance!

Maybe do a video on adding texture or color or other embellishments though I’m sure you have done some before possibly not sure if you already did a dedicated one however as I am new to your channel.
