You have a wonderful feel for color and composition. The way you put together the two tapes and then added stamping and your own additional masrks was great. You are a talented artist! Your final product is so beautiful! I'm inspired to give washi tape earrings a try.
Wow, thank you for showing all. I’ve been making jewelry for ..um…a while…thinking…nearly 20 years, not full scale but plenty of variety AND…have never seen a loop maker!!!!! Can you believe it! Wow, so glad you showed everything. Impressive.
Thanks so much for the tutorial! I have fallen in love with the washie tapes and have ordered my first! Your video is great!!! I’m a new fan of your channel!!!
Love this, thank you! Since you only go to the edges with the resin (and not over it), have you had a problem with water getting inside and messing them up? (Maybe you did while doing the front and I just wasn’t watching close enough.)
OMG! I’ve been making jewelry with wire/metal/gemstones for years. I stumbled on your tutorial when I was referred to something else. I absolutely love this technique. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and skill. I’m so excited to learn a new technique and will be searching through your store. Thanks 😊 PS: What type of UV resin and light do you recommend?
Wonderful tutorial. I'm wondering if there is a way to attach the washi tape earring to the back or a glass cabochan? I never have luck with resin, possibly because my hands shake a little. Also I could eliminate the smell.
@@happyplacestudio I think you would have to glue the tape to an empty bezel then cover with the cabochan gluing very carefully or held in with prongs.
I'm in all over this video I thought the washi tape would be put down in the side of a mold or something I had no idea that you could do it like this I guess I haven't even done resin yet I'm just trying to learn as much as I can first. Thanks for this video It was very educational.
Instead of using mats you might want to try Blue Tack to hold your earrings as you apply UV Resin. Keeps you from having to buy so many mats. Blue tack reusable adhesive Bostic Blue tack is a handy putty-like reusable adhesive. Use it to stick, Seal, conceal, hold, and position a variety of items.
I put resin on the tape side first and the pieces curled upward. Is that simply because of steps out of order or does it have to with lamp power. I’ve had similar issue with thin acrylic bars for earrings so it makes me lean toward the lamp. However, I’ve also tried several different lamps. Thanks for such thorough tutorials.
What a Fantastic video! That looper is amazing. I hope you left a link for it, because I definitely need one. I also love the washi with the burnt edge.

Hi I loved the tutorial. Thank you for showing how you make your own earrings to go with your beautifully done pieces. My question is ... Wont the edge of the piece that goes into your ear be rough after cutting with the pliers? If I do encounter that what can you suggest to smoothen that edge? Thanks a mil.
Great video. U have yourself a new subscriber! This is also great for little embellishments off your mini albums and junk journals. What wattage do u use for a light?
i have a question????? will the resin leave water marks with the paper? i thought we had to use mod podge to seal the paper before we used resin or we get water marks? or is that with just cheap paper?
I love your jewelry pieces. The UV resin you use is unavailyon Amazon. Can you recommend any other UV Resin brand that you like that won't yellow? Thanks!!!

How much resin should you put on the small eearings
Enough to cover. I know that's vague but you just have to play with it. Make sure it covers the piece and goes to the edges
It would be really nice if you showed us the finished product!
Great video. Just a tip - if you make an indentation with a pin before drilling, it stops the drill bit sliding around and scratching the resin.
