Season did not meet my expectations but at least the finale was the best episode of the season. And I love how Jeffrey Dean Morgan can make the most ridiculous lines sound hilarious. Sucks that he's in Butcher's head because I would love to see him and Dean reunite.
When one finds out their significant other slept with someone else, regardless if they realized it or not. They get to feel whatever they feel. God knows I would. 😂But she does get passed it pretty quickly after venting a bit. Neuman dying was NOT expected, I thought she would help take down Homelander. Venom Butcher & a LEVELED up Starlight will surely have to do the job. 😉

It doesn't make sense though, and totally contradicts their moments in S03E07. Especially with the pace of this season whereas they didn't show even a hint of the two struggling with their feelings towards each other, rather they were focusing more about self-forgiveness, then suddenly "Hey, lets forget what we said in last season and get back together". The writer had been writing shit this season, including Colin's storyline and Sister Sage's.

They've been teasing her powers LEVELING UP since season 3 now. Why she's still was learning how to fly and taking away her powers was a hint that they will come back MUCH stronger when she reconciles who she is. From that fly off, it looks like she could be as powerful as Stormfront next season.
The use of "Heart Shaped Box" at the end was *PERFECT,* because even though I love Nirvana, that song has always given me like, bad vibes; it's a great song, of course, but it's also somewhat unsettling, and it was the most fitting soundtrack to the show becoming outright a horror story.
In regards to: Erin Moriarty.. Kripke actually came out and said that the original idea was for the Shifter to be very T-1000-like.. all stealth and creepy.. but Erin decided to try something different with it and went for "Evil Pixie on a sugar-high" instead - and they ran with it.

Erin Moriarty was so committed on this season and I love it!!! They just released a stunt video and she did most of the stuntwork and wire work which is very impressive.

It was very cool, but could have been done alot better to actually make people care or freak out.. Especially since they just up and gave her powers back out of nowhere....it left a lot to be desired regardless of how cool it was visually. I'm also just never a fan of the "oops I can't use my powers cause of emotions" storylines. Looking at you Spider-Man.
Butchers eyes were a dead giveaway for his physical condition. They were getting worse season by season, episode by episode and all of the sudden they went from dead borderline bleeding to perfectly fine
I feel so bad for Hughie this season. He was put through the ringer emotionally. Poor dude. But also, really unfortunate that he didn't notice just a tad sooner 😅
I think Hughie's storyline was written for all to root for him and he ended up with the best speech for the Boys heading into the ending and Annie comes back around
for everyone confused, butcher took regular v (as hughie found out in episode 4) to save himself from the temp v cancer. it didnt work and the regular V turned his temp V cancer into joe kessler / JDM / negan
I didn't catch this on my first watch too! the mention of Butcher saying he took V 2 or 4 months ago was so fast and in that scene we are worried with Hughie's dad and overwhelmed from him and A-Train making amends
And it's acting off of butchers inner thoughts. Too many people are taking the agency completely off Butcher and saying "it's Kessler doing it" and that make it so uninteresting.
During the scene with the shifter and Annie, notice how as the shifter she shifts her jaw and makes her mouth crooked when she speaks. That's a cool choice by the actor to distinguish the two from one another.
Butcher is literally Venom. Season 5 is gonna be absolutely DIABOLICAL. He might kill Homelander in the first episode next season and continue going on his rampage
Damn never thought about this take. Insane and would be epic plot twist - what if Homelander takes over Becca’s angel position? So he would have two angels of death haunting him.
Since this season has perfectly set up ‘The Bloody Doors Off’, I could see Homelander being dead by the halfway point of next season, Episode 6 at the latest, leaving the ending of the series to be Butcher vs. The World.
Honestly based on the structure and foreshadowing I do think Butcher might be the one to kill Ryan, and it’ll be Hughie who’ll have to stop him. “It ain’t me, son. I’m somewhere else, watchin’ it happen. It ain’t me.”
When i tell you my wife and i were silent for like 10 minutes after seeing this finale. This was like Infinity War all over again. Season 5 is gonna go INSANE
Yeah this finale was so good. I just watched an interview and Karen Fukuhara who plays Kimiko was talking about that final scene. They filmed all of this before Gen V was out. So she said the Gen V actors weren't allowed to say anything about their characters if they were even good or bad, so in the scene she kept pulling away from Sam and finally Eric Kripke had to tell her "No no he is stronger then you" and they were all like wait what?!?! I thought that was a great way to find out.
I have a theory that Ashely might be pretty monstrous with her powers, just because of all the talk she did about how easy it is to become a monster at Vought and stuff, though I am probably wrong. Probably some hair power or something 😂
I think her power is gonna be about intelligence like Sage. The enlarged head tells me she’s gonna be something like the Thinker from DC. I could be wrong.
Hughies dads poweres manifested according to how he felt inside. Like he wasn't there and therefore could just walk through things. I believe it will be the same with Ashlee
I saw an interview with Colby and she said she recommended her powers being hair related, but said she felt comfortable sharing that because it's unlikely that they would go that route. So who knows.
I think because this season was about all of the characters dealing with their past it was heavy emotionally and had a different vibe from previous seasons. But considering this is all going into the final season, this season went deep into who the characters really are. This show has the opportunity to go out as legendary by the time season 5 ends!
Unfortunately, it all felt like a retreat for frenchie or kimiko. It wasn't anything deeper. It was just ghe season 1-3 character development done all over again. Just for frenchie to willingly go to jail for an episode and then get out....yay? Then the low quality story line with Annie and the star lighters...it all just really hurt the beginning of this season.
This episode was *PEAK THE BOYS!!!* I swear we had so many incredible and long-awaited moments. I saw the depressing scene of the Boys getting caught by Homelanders superhero regime, especially with Homelander turning Neuman into a martyr and at the top of the political hierarchy of power, not to mention bringing back Soldier Boy. Butcher is officially letting Joe take over now with the virus and the living parasite inside of him. Bro Kimiko's first words, screaming "NO" when seeing Frenchie taken away, was heartbreaking.😭 *SEASON 5 IS GOING TO BE A DIABOLICAL END TO THIS AMAZING SHOW!*

The ending is just frightening considering where we are politically in this country. Don’t forget that martial law and using the military (in this case superheroes) against our own citizens is not only what third world countries do but litterally the depiction of 1984 by Orwell. That’s the whole point of “This is Orwell-ian” This finale, it was Orwell-ian…. Speechless.
Project 2025 is literally the "new world, new rules" that Homelander was talking about. Not to mention how this episode is apparently set on January 6, the day MAGA raided the US Capitol.

Butcher said in an earlier episode that he took real V to stop the spread of the cancer. I'm guessing that without the real V the tumors would have just destroyed him like it did with the rabbit, but the real V gave the tumor more direction and even a sort of sentience. Like a parasite that needs a host to control or like JDM said "Super Cancer" 😅 when he stops fighting it physically and mentally, it works in cohesion with him. Not sure if it'll still keep spreading though even after embracing it... he might just become one giant, slimy tumor monster
I thought they did it well here, so I did still enjoy it. But I felt like a lot of the character development that got a large focus this season was just repeated from the first 3 seasons. So then getting repeats from a whole other show was like.....ok....
I think Kripke added the shapeshifter just to fakk with the actors, seing how much trouble the guys in SPN had every time they had to say the word shapeshifter. Oh, the dozens of takes.... That would be very much like Kripke. 🤭

The Boys season five in 2026, but we have second season of Gen V next year i think. Probably we gonna see the Boys locked up with then in that prison with no doors or windows from the finale
I watched bloopers of Antony starr drinking that milk 🥛 he hated it. He was so funny all he could do was laugh! And poor kimiko her first words and it had to be sad moment. And I can't wait for you all to see supernatural you will love it if you love the boys!
Just to clarify the Butcher situation for Oak: - Butcher taking all the Temp V doses caused him to have a brain tumour, and kill him in 12 months (end of season 3) - After A-Train gave Hughie the Compound V for his dad in hospital, Hughie asks something along the lines of "Wouldn't you take this if it cured you?". To which Butcher responds that he did try take Compound V. He found some in Frenchie's stash and took it. (start of season 4) - Butcher then explains that it didn't help in any way, just slashed the time he had to live in half. However, the Compound V enhanced the brain tumour giving his tumour superpowers. Hence Kessler saying multiple times "V'd up brain tumour", shows the tumour itself has been massively enhanced and the V went into the tumour. - The visions of Kessler and Becca (obviously the Devil / Angel) are somewhat side effects of the V'd up brain tumour - Kessler made him pass out in the bar at the end of Episode 7 (I believe), and Kessler is making him sick. Kessler said in the hospital this episode something along the lines of "I could help cure you, as long as you hold up your end of the bargain", showing Kessler is the one that controls the V'd up brain tumour negatively. Butcher finally agreeing to go along with Kessler, Kessler stopped making him sick, which is why he looked so healthy in the end fight where he kills Neuman. Conversely, Becca helping Butcher get up off the floor after falling in the shower, hence almost shows she controls Butcher positively Hope that clears things up. Love you boys
My theory is that S5 will do a time jump and Starlight will lead a resistance against Homelander’s agenda. A-Train and maybe even Maeve will probably join her in helping locate and free the Boys. Butcher is on his own mission and will be a huge problem for both sides. Not sure which way they’re gonna go with Ryan though.
Idk if you guys caught it, but Victoria tried to pop Homeland's head, but couldn't. Butcher never took anymore V after he found it in Frenchie's bag, but him taking Compound V is what brought up Kessler, it sped up his "death". Butcher was sick because Kessler took over his body. The previous episode when Butcher fell at the bar if you look at Kessler, he's the one doing it. Butcher never looked fully bad until that moment because Butcher at that point knew for a fact he didn't want genocide. That's why when Kessler said "You know I can help you" when Butcher was in the bed, he meant he can make him better if he just accepts him. Once Grace died and he looked at Kessler, he did a slight nod, acknowledging that Kessler could take over, making him better. So when he meets up with everyone he looks brand new. Kessler is messed up Temp V/Compound V, the cancer inside of him.
just want to point out, Starlight is suddenly super charged now. She flies like never before and there were no power sources around. So I can't wait to see how that happened.
@@_Yombo she was stated to take out part of the grid when she was attempting to fly before, so I don't think the vehicles would be enough. Definitely a blast as we've seen that before but flight has been stated to take much more.
So pretty much Butcher said he took the permanent V to see if it would save him but it didn’t work. And with the Temp V Butcher took way more then honestly any test subject has, and them really not knowing the side effects will be…… that is what happened to Butcher. Evolution at its finest.

I think Butcher and his tumor (which is what has the V powers) are going to kill Ryan next season and maybe Homelander. Unless somebody else beats him to it, then maybe Hugie ends Butcher. All i know is these next two years waiting are gonna be worse than the way Vought operates lol
Yes, he kind of did. After killing Grace, one of the only few people he cares about, he just walked out with no emotion. Also, he realized they were trying to control him like his dad. Butcher thinks he picked a side, so good luck changing THAT mind 😆 No matter what Ryan is done
Well the parasite works in this way; Butcher took the Temp V last season, which created the parasite that we saw in the bunny. So, when Butcher took the real deal Compound V thinking it'll give him abilities and cure his cancer. Instead of going into Butcher's system, it Supe-ified the cancer (parasite). Now JDM is the figment of Butcher's imagination which is representing the Parasite. A Parasite would not survive without the Host, so JDM is offering Butcher to do what he says (i.e. Supe Genocide) and in return the Parasite will let the V flow into Butcher's system eventually healing him and in that way both of em can survive. Just notice here that we haven't seen Becca since her confrontation with JDM in previous episode. So, I guess this is the SCORCHED EARTH that Butcher and Homie had promised each other and we will finally see Butcher and the Venomie parasite go head to head with the supes. See how Butcher ripped Nueman, handled Zoey and kept Kimiko and Annie on point simultaneously. That means this Butcher is way more powerful that Temp V'd laser eyed Butcher. S5; 2026 babyyyy!
Few things I want to say about this. First, the fifth and final season of this series won’t be out until 2026 at the earliest. Second, going off of the first, Gen V season 2 will be out next year in 2025. Third, I recently had an opportunity to meet Karen Fukuhara (Kimiko), twice, at a local convention, and I heard it from her that they haven’t even written season 5 yet. Or rather they’re starting to write it. At this same convention, I could’ve met Antony Starr (Homelander) but I missed out on that opportunity. I did, however, get to see him up close. Not the important details. Point is that if you guys are looking for more content from this world, Gen V season 2 will be out next year. As well as an animated series called “The Boys Presents: Diabolical.” One last thing, I mentioned it before in previous videos that one of the actors from Gen V, Chance Perdomo (Andre), recently passed away. The show runners said they’re not going to replace him. Curious to see or hear your thoughts on that, since I don’t think it’s been mentioned or brought up in any previous video before. Either way, looking forward to seeing your reactions to the new seasons coming up in the future.

Butcher's powers are from Temporary V. Remember the rabbit we saw earlier in the season, it seems like the Temp V has some unexpected secondary effects
this episode felt like that moment in Harry Potter, when they are in the Ron Weasley's brother marriage and an echo of a familiar patronum comes and says ominously "the ministry of magic has fallen" and chaos everywhere and people getting the f out. (also like Infinity War, but Infinity War still had a hopeful vibe, cause Thanos happened but there wasn't something worse after what he did, the worse scenario already happened, in a snap and without much literal bloodshed. here in The Boys, the apocalyptic scenario is still happening and might take time, so with much more suffering, and they don't need to be tamed on how much blood they are gonna spill😹☠️)
Prediction - We get a Romeo/Juliet tragedy with Kimiko and Frenchie. I can see the virus he made being used on her. Even though we love them, it wouldn't make sense to give them a happy ending given their past. Also they team up with Edgar following Vickys death
Although I would prefer for Jeffrey Dean to return and be somewhat reunited with J. Ackles..(SPN Fam), I wouldn't be surprised if he bails...just like he did with Supernatural!
I'm surpeised Neuman's kid 9Zoe) ended up in the foster for supes...she has a living father (Sami) and a grandfather (Edgar). Like WTF...grow a pair and take care of her!
I mean, Edgar "broke" out of prison (w/Vicky's help) so he can't take custody of her thru legal means. But I was wondering where the father is. Unless they didn't make anything official in the records? Edgar could still break Zoe out of there if he chooses to. And I think he will because he loves her.

Yep, he’s looked progressively sicker and sicker throughout the season but once he allowed Kessler to take over, he looked healthier than ever.

I didn't catch this on my first watch too! the mention of Butcher saying he took V 2 or 4 months ago was so fast and in that scene we are worried with Hughie's dad and overwhelmed from him and A-Train making amends

Damn never thought about this take. Insane and would be epic plot twist - what if Homelander takes over Becca’s angel position? So he would have two angels of death haunting him.
Since this season has perfectly set up ‘The Bloody Doors Off’, I could see Homelander being dead by the halfway point of next season, Episode 6 at the latest, leaving the ending of the series to be Butcher vs. The World.

Yeah this finale was so good. I just watched an interview and Karen Fukuhara who plays Kimiko was talking about that final scene. They filmed all of this before Gen V was out. So she said the Gen V actors weren't allowed to say anything about their characters if they were even good or bad, so in the scene she kept pulling away from Sam and finally Eric Kripke had to tell her "No no he is stronger then you" and they were all like wait what?!?! I thought that was a great way to find out.
I have a theory that Ashely might be pretty monstrous with her powers, just because of all the talk she did about how easy it is to become a monster at Vought and stuff, though I am probably wrong. Probably some hair power or something 😂

I saw an interview with Colby and she said she recommended her powers being hair related, but said she felt comfortable sharing that because it's unlikely that they would go that route. So who knows.
I think because this season was about all of the characters dealing with their past it was heavy emotionally and had a different vibe from previous seasons. But considering this is all going into the final season, this season went deep into who the characters really are. This show has the opportunity to go out as legendary by the time season 5 ends!
Unfortunately, it all felt like a retreat for frenchie or kimiko. It wasn't anything deeper. It was just ghe season 1-3 character development done all over again. Just for frenchie to willingly go to jail for an episode and then get out....yay? Then the low quality story line with Annie and the star lighters...it all just really hurt the beginning of this season.

I swear we had so many incredible and long-awaited moments. I saw the depressing scene of the Boys getting caught by Homelanders superhero regime, especially with Homelander turning Neuman into a martyr and at the top of the political hierarchy of power, not to mention bringing back Soldier Boy. Butcher is officially letting Joe take over now with the virus and the living parasite inside of him. Bro Kimiko's first words, screaming "NO" when seeing Frenchie taken away, was heartbreaking.😭 *SEASON 5 IS GOING TO BE A DIABOLICAL END TO THIS AMAZING SHOW!*

Butcher said in an earlier episode that he took real V to stop the spread of the cancer. I'm guessing that without the real V the tumors would have just destroyed him like it did with the rabbit, but the real V gave the tumor more direction and even a sort of sentience. Like a parasite that needs a host to control or like JDM said "Super Cancer" 😅 when he stops fighting it physically and mentally, it works in cohesion with him. Not sure if it'll still keep spreading though even after embracing it... he might just become one giant, slimy tumor monster

The shape shifter was 100% straight from Supernatural
I thought they did it well here, so I did still enjoy it. But I felt like a lot of the character development that got a large focus this season was just repeated from the first 3 seasons. So then getting repeats from a whole other show was like.....ok....
I think Kripke added the shapeshifter just to fakk with the actors, seing how much trouble the guys in SPN had every time they had to say the word shapeshifter. Oh, the dozens of takes.... That would be very much like Kripke. 🤭

I watched bloopers of Antony starr drinking that milk 🥛 he hated it. He was so funny all he could do was laugh! And poor kimiko her first words and it had to be sad moment. And I can't wait for you all to see supernatural you will love it if you love the boys!
Just to clarify the Butcher situation for Oak:
- Butcher taking all the Temp V doses caused him to have a brain tumour, and kill him in 12 months (end of season 3)
- After A-Train gave Hughie the Compound V for his dad in hospital, Hughie asks something along the lines of "Wouldn't you take this if it cured you?". To which Butcher responds that he did try take Compound V. He found some in Frenchie's stash and took it. (start of season 4)
- Butcher then explains that it didn't help in any way, just slashed the time he had to live in half. However, the Compound V enhanced the brain tumour giving his tumour superpowers. Hence Kessler saying multiple times "V'd up brain tumour", shows the tumour itself has been massively enhanced and the V went into the tumour.
- The visions of Kessler and Becca (obviously the Devil / Angel) are somewhat side effects of the V'd up brain tumour
- Kessler made him pass out in the bar at the end of Episode 7 (I believe), and Kessler is making him sick. Kessler said in the hospital this episode something along the lines of "I could help cure you, as long as you hold up your end of the bargain", showing Kessler is the one that controls the V'd up brain tumour negatively. Butcher finally agreeing to go along with Kessler, Kessler stopped making him sick, which is why he looked so healthy in the end fight where he kills Neuman. Conversely, Becca helping Butcher get up off the floor after falling in the shower, hence almost shows she controls Butcher positively

My theory is that S5 will do a time jump and Starlight will lead a resistance against Homelander’s agenda. A-Train and maybe even Maeve will probably join her in helping locate and free the Boys.

Idk if you guys caught it, but Victoria tried to pop Homeland's head, but couldn't. Butcher never took anymore V after he found it in Frenchie's bag, but him taking Compound V is what brought up Kessler, it sped up his "death". Butcher was sick because Kessler took over his body. The previous episode when Butcher fell at the bar if you look at Kessler, he's the one doing it. Butcher never looked fully bad until that moment because Butcher at that point knew for a fact he didn't want genocide. That's why when Kessler said "You know I can help you" when Butcher was in the bed, he meant he can make him better if he just accepts him. Once Grace died and he looked at Kessler, he did a slight nod, acknowledging that Kessler could take over, making him better. So when he meets up with everyone he looks brand new. Kessler is messed up Temp V/Compound V, the cancer inside of him.

Well the parasite works in this way; Butcher took the Temp V last season, which created the parasite that we saw in the bunny. So, when Butcher took the real deal Compound V thinking it'll give him abilities and cure his cancer. Instead of going into Butcher's system, it Supe-ified the cancer (parasite). Now JDM is the figment of Butcher's imagination which is representing the Parasite. A Parasite would not survive without the Host, so JDM is offering Butcher to do what he says (i.e. Supe Genocide) and in return the Parasite will let the V flow into Butcher's system eventually healing him and in that way both of em can survive. Just notice here that we haven't seen Becca since her confrontation with JDM in previous episode. So, I guess this is the SCORCHED EARTH that Butcher and Homie had promised each other and we will finally see Butcher and the Venomie parasite go head to head with the supes. See how Butcher ripped Nueman, handled Zoey and kept Kimiko and Annie on point simultaneously. That means this Butcher is way more powerful that Temp V'd laser eyed Butcher.

Few things I want to say about this. First, the fifth and final season of this series won’t be out until 2026 at the earliest. Second, going off of the first, Gen V season 2 will be out next year in 2025. Third, I recently had an opportunity to meet Karen Fukuhara (Kimiko), twice, at a local convention, and I heard it from her that they haven’t even written season 5 yet. Or rather they’re starting to write it. At this same convention, I could’ve met Antony Starr (Homelander) but I missed out on that opportunity. I did, however, get to see him up close. Not the important details. Point is that if you guys are looking for more content from this world, Gen V season 2 will be out next year. As well as an animated series called “The Boys Presents: Diabolical.”
One last thing, I mentioned it before in previous videos that one of the actors from Gen V, Chance Perdomo (Andre), recently passed away. The show runners said they’re not going to replace him. Curious to see or hear your thoughts on that, since I don’t think it’s been mentioned or brought up in any previous video before.
Either way, looking forward to seeing your reactions to the new seasons coming up in the future.

this episode felt like that moment in Harry Potter, when they are in the Ron Weasley's brother marriage and an echo of a familiar patronum comes and says ominously "the ministry of magic has fallen" and chaos everywhere and people getting the f out.
(also like Infinity War, but Infinity War still had a hopeful vibe, cause Thanos happened but there wasn't something worse after what he did, the worse scenario already happened, in a snap and without much literal bloodshed. here in The Boys, the apocalyptic scenario is still happening and might take time, so with much more suffering, and they don't need to be tamed on how much blood they are gonna spill😹☠️)
Jared Padalecki has been in talks with Kripke about Season 5. We might be getting the father and both Winchester boys in season 5 of this show.
Prediction - We get a Romeo/Juliet tragedy with Kimiko and Frenchie. I can see the virus he made being used on her. Even though we love them, it wouldn't make sense to give them a happy ending given their past.
