Thanks for showcasing this. This seems like an incredible VST, just what I was looking for. I have a Quantum MK2, a Moog One and some other thing but I was missing a strong base synth and I did think for example Minimoog D felt a bit limiting with no presets and no polyphony (plus not cheap). I think this fills that void nicely. I got a Faderfox PC12 with about 80 knobs that should make it more tactile to work with. I have also found that the Quantum is incredible for controlling VST with all its knobs. I will grab it and give it a spin. Exciting times!
big fan of diva, zebrahz and dune3. last one is from synapse audio. i dont think this sounds better than dune3. a bit different maybe, but the quality improvement is marginal at best. i think 99% of this can be done in dune3 too. lots of familiar things on the interface, its just more open up and accessible.
No harm intended, but what musical problems are y’all trying to solve with another plug-in? Why don’t we see UA-camrs digging into a finished track they created and how the plugin being gushed over solved the issues making said track better? I often find myself scrolling through the dozens, hundreds of patches provided. Yeah, said VST makes my speaker system highlight a sound (usually the bass is gushed over) never heard before. What are the new features solving in music composition that could never be achieved before and what finished tracks are being posted as examples? The new HZ endorsed Synapse sounds good. So do the U-he HZ VSTs. I’d like to see UA-cam videos that demonstrate the need to use said VST with real world musical problem solving.
Hi, thank you for your feedback. I speak for myself. There are so many good vst synths out there, but do we need them all? No, I don't think so. Who bothers to program synths anymore? Who understands sound synthesis? I'm one of those others, I want to try new things, but my sound or track doesn't have to have a problem because of it. It's fun to try new things but for sure "Less is usually more". If your synths cover Your musicality need, so U don´t need to buy something.
@@simonlegrec Agreed with both comments but I am getting fed up with synthesis altogether, it's like AI, too much of a computer world. That's why I only listen to older records, I know there is real people make music.
@simonlegrec Nice mate thanks, I use my Novation Summit for controlling vsts with midi learn, it works great due to the amount of hands on knobs and envelope sliders so good to know.
These mega synths is making me question why i keep my hardware polyphonic synths. The G-force OB-E, Diva now this. The line between hardware and plugins is blurring into one.
It's the passion for hardware synths on the one hand, and on the other hand, for many the hardware stuff sounds better. With AI, these differences will soon no longer be there. I use vst´s despite a lot of hardware synths
The "KTRK" switches on the 3rd and 6th oscillators of The Legend HZ, are used to control keyboard tracking. Keyboard tracking (KTRK) refers to how the pitch of an oscillator responds to different keys on the keyboard. When the KTRK switch is enabled (typically represented as "On" or the switch being in the "up" position), the pitch of the oscillator follows the keyboard. This means that higher keys will produce higher pitches and lower keys will produce lower pitches in a consistent manner, maintaining the musical relationship between the keys and the oscillator’s pitch. When the KTRK switch is disabled (typically represented as "Off" or the switch being in the "down" position), the oscillator will not follow the keyboard pitch. Instead, it will remain at a constant pitch regardless of which key is pressed. This can be useful for creating certain types of sounds, like drones or specific modulation effects, where you might not want the pitch to change with different keys.
