I know what you talking about when you work on chainsaw , most of the people don’t know what it takes to gotten apart most of the time between parts and labor you spent more then what new one cost and the technician is the one that loses money because you cant not charge for all your hours you work on it. and I know Stihl chainsaw it’s one of the hardest to work on it.
anyway thank you for your video it’s very helpful

High temperature RTV silicone. Let it cure for 24 hours with the bolts torqued before trying to run the engine.

I'm in Tasmania and mine was 3mths old and I decided to teach my boy how to safely cut trees and firewood.
Well... being over keen he gave it a tank full of straight fuel, no oil.
      Not happy.
It cost me $450.00 Aus: for parts.
Needless to say he wont be using my chainsaw ever again.
      Thanks for the vidio.

@@tazzygeoff621 did you teach him how to mix fuel ? Mistakes teach us , he will never do that again , so I reckon he's right to go .

@@bizzybugseverywhere7801 yes, I did teach him how to pre mix the fuel, but alas, he is prone to panicking ( due to his mum.. long story 🤮)
Recently he topped up the engine oil in his car. It needed 1 pint... he gave it 12 pints.
Lucky I checked, no damage done, just time spent doing extra bonding.
Some people are just not the hands type.

Nothing new here, fought this stuff for nigh 60 years. Customer states it's small, how long can it take? They have no clue!

What a poor video. Sounds like Joe needs oxygen. Breathing is not right to many cigarettes.
