This music in this boss felt like it housed so much emotion. Unlike any of the other fights. In a way, kinda makes you feel like your in the wrong for fighting the maid but in a another way, it's a mercy. As she seemed to have been brought back from the dead. My favourite boss fight. Well, if you have cleared the game you totally know the lore behind all those fights. But I can't reciprocate the "favorite boss fight" part because I kinda 2 turned her the 1rst time I saw her... x) Had to redo all the battle for the Phase II xD But it's still one of the most enjoyable boss fight of the game I agree with that ! :o
I really like this song while fighting the boss. Some boss fights have way to dramatic music and kind of kills the mood. This game + the music = perfection
It's a mix of Child Song. Same as the surgeons boss music is a mix of Sacrifice. They are all in the soundtrack, just as the actual songs not the mixes
Well , the Deacon has "Desperate battle " and the surgeon has " sacrifice" in the soundtrack, both are pretty close as what you can hear in the game . But sadly I didn't find something for the Maid. Her ost is really beautiful and make the even more epic by making you feel a kind of sorrow.
All the two of them ever wanted was to live and be free, yet the Deacon and the Surgeon robbed them of any chance of true freedom. It is understandable why, when given such power and potential, the child chose to lash out at the world that had wronged them so, and yet there was, buried beneath all of that anger and hate and suffering, a love for their dearest friend and a desire to have her back at their side no matter what, and so he did...only for us to have to put the poor woman out of the misery her cursed state of being must have left her within. Like the Red Mother, I weep for the two of them and what could have been, and I hope that one day, when the Child's journey is done, they can see their friend again. That aside, Fuck the Deacon.

While the other bosses let you get away with slapping at them with bare minimum equipment and interrupting shot spam she was the first to go HEY! YOU WILL DIE IF YOU DONT PAY ATTENTION TO MY MECHANICS! She also has this weird passive that causes the screen to go blurry and liquid to leak from your eyes so that just adds to the difficulty
The one boss fight I didn't enjoy. The Maid didn't deserve any of what she got at the hands of The Deacon. Killing her was a mercy, but it's a cruel thing to do.

She was all i had...and then i had nothing...
