    • @erci6437
      @erci6437 6 років тому +41

      At the end it really is.. These "tricks" may work only if you compete against total amateur. Every pro armwrestler understands techniques well enough. If the whole arm is only 5-10% stronger you are not able to move it a single cm! Felt and seen that thousands of times.

    • @rykehuss3435
      @rykehuss3435 6 років тому +61

      It is about who is the strongest, and most durable. Devon is not the strongest guy at the table, but he is the most durable. He can lose 1-2 rounds straight, but after that youre so bled out Devon is gonna beat you 10-2.

    I think what separates devon from others is not only is he strong and lean but he is a true athlete and soilder who knows how to get every pound of pressure into that arm. I think it separates him from other strong dudes who are more meat heads and have a lack of athleticism unlike Devon.

  • @saltedllama2759

    Devon's technical knowledge and appreciation for the sport as a martial art is what separates him. So many meat heads are content to watch Russians just lift weights and balloon up on supplements while criticizing this guy showing videos of how to use a strap in weird ways, or invent multi-spinners in his basement. THIS is the guy to learn from. This is how to get better and push the sport forward. Not watching strongmen speak Cyrillic while lifting comically large dumbells.

    • @fistoftulkas7335
      @fistoftulkas7335 6 років тому +8

      Larratt is my favorite and the man, technically it doesn't get better... But there's no need to throw shit at the "russians", hinting at PEDs every time...

    • @TraumaER
      @TraumaER 6 років тому +1

      Dan Extrinsic01 can't train bones to be thicker or denser beyond natural limits. Saw a guy arm wrestle back in the day and his forearm snapped in half. After that I never arm wrestled again despite being 6'0" and almost 200lbs.

    • @danextrinsic0174
      @danextrinsic0174 6 років тому +3

      yeah, its a real risk to arm wrestle because your muscle and technique have a lot to do with the safety of your bones. however, its probably silly to mention but bones CAN theoretically be strengthened via impact training.

    • @izzate7
      @izzate7 6 років тому +2

      Dan Extrinsic01 The stress placed on their bones definitely strengthens them.
