Who on earth teaches their strategy like that?! Only a person who isn't insecure can do that. You're doing great Devon. More than an arm wrestling training, this needs to be seen as a philosophical training for everyone unrelated with arm wrestling. 👏👏👏

Thats sooo unusual in life that you get someone as a teacher that gives that amount of precence and attention, Devon's a special guy. Most would just have thrown out a couple hints, barely looked the kid in the eyes.

Yes, it's for show and to get attention and excitement into a match, but it's also very much for a position and to get the guy to reach for his thumb first. His style of teaching and his fundamentals are mostly all invented/modified by himself. A wise fan can tell who devon has trained. High hookers dont armwrestle - they fight jujitsu on a table, and these videos are changing the whole stage. Over the top movie tried putting armwrestling on the map, and kinda failed. Devon is doing it with nothing but a phone camera and his knowledge.
Voice of Armwrestling he was a rokkie, never done a match before, so i guess the losses will be forgotten and the love from learning from Devon will be a great inspiration to do this more💪
Watching Devon teach arm wrestling is like watching Gordon teach Jiu-jitsu. They have all the little details figured out. And they know how to make a show and sell a competition, but are truly the top of their sports for technique.
Arm wrestling is also a great lesson in torque for those physics lessons. As well as a great lesson in anatomy, supine vs prone, what muscle groups engage at different rotations of the forearm, etc etc. For those parents out there lookin to crosstrain their kids in strength in mind and body!
I never realize how intricate the world of arm wrestling is. We have devon who is considered as the greats of the sports but levan according to devon will play to whatever you want and can still beat whoop your ass no matter what crazy.
I didn’t know i can get an injury i used to wrestle with guys 3x bigger than me without any experience I knew ill lose but i just wanna give it a try evvytime
Other advice topics. How far to reach across the opponents hand. Devon seems to grab at the pointer. And how to “cheat” bend the wrist before the ready go.
I don't know anything about arm wrestling nor do I follow it. The way he teaches I think this dude would make great coach in many different sports. He's patient. He's thorough. And he understands sport anatomy. I'm a fan.
