Hello... I really never comment on any video anywhere but I just had to come on here. I just watched one of your videos from 5 months ago and it just broke my heart. I too suffered a tremendous loss. I am a 50 year old single mom of 3, 2 sons and a daughter. I lost my 21 year old daughter and my 65 year old mom both unexpected both within months of each other a couple years back and I've just been existing since. They were the only 2 females in my life that I had and I was extremely close to both of them. I just got into Journaling a few months ago and your channel by far is my favorite for all of the different ideas you present. Journaling and crafting has been sorta an escape for me I guess. I just wanted to let you know you have truly been a blessing to me and my crafting. I feel like I'm starting to come back to life somewhat and I wanted to thank you. I just seen ur video speaking of your loss and I am so very sorry you are going through that. You never get over it but you do get through it and you will have days you just break down and thats ok. I've learned that I have felt much better after days like that. Sorry so long I know you have a ton of support and people all over the world but just wanted to offer my prayers and healing wishes to you as well. And thank you again for making my life a little bit brighter too!
I love these Beautiful pockets and Edith Holden pages, they add so much by themselves too. Thank you so much for sharing your inspiration as always Edith. Like with you my head tells me when there will be a storm ⛈️. It’s like it’s own weather forecaster. The air feels tight and like there is lack of oxygen, that low pressure. Then I feel so relieved when it is over, the air cleaned/cleaned up.
So glad I watched this. I have lots of pretty book pages but hesitate to use as a page itself to be covered up. Now I can make beautiful pocket pages! 😊
Ohh these were so pretty. I love Edith Holden. I first saw her book pages being used on another YT channel and immediately went searching. It is a huge help to see how you use her pages, as another comment below said they are hesitant to use them and I am as well. I want to make sure I do it justice when I tear them out. Yours are just so gorgeous. Thank you for sharing.
I think of you often and hope you're doing well and adjusting to your new normal. I love these pockets. It would be so easy to make the shell of these while watching TV and then decorate them later. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you for the ideas 9n how to use Edith Holden pages. They are so beautiful, I want to preserve as much of the page as possible, and this does exactly that!
E, I get a migraine every time a storm is on the way. My retina disease specialist said it was the barometric pressure rising. They are terrible. Take care. Love all you do.
Thank you for another great video! I love Edith Holden! My problem is that I can't decide which side of the page to use! Sometimes I wish there was a "single sided" Edith Holden book, LOL!! Hugs, my friend!
I love this idea. I wish I had an Edith Holden book. I'm on a small pension and can't afford expensive things like this. I'm saving up to buy the Art Glitter glue or the Bearly Arts glue. I just started trying to create a journal after watch your channel as well as other creators channels. I don't have a working printer and all the "junk" I collected just doesn't match up to anything anyone else is making or I like. I collected a lot of things by rescuing them from the recyclables bin. I've tried to do a few things and created a journal book but unfortunately the cheap glue I used all bubbled up the cloth cover and I used too thin and a solid color material to cover the cereal/cookie box. I did use my old glue gun to glue on some of the mountain of lace I've bought or got thru out the years when my eyes and shaky hands could thread the small needle. I also was given a huge ton of lace my mother collected over her just about 91 years, when she had me go thru her closet when she came home on a day pass from the care home. She got along fine with a cane or walker but a year ago last spring she slipped on the ice and as a result of everything she ended up unable to move from the waist down. This was extremely tough on her, especially emotionally. She was always a vital person who liked do her hair and put on her makeup to go some where almost daily. Being no longer to care for herself and being tied to a wheelchair and to wear diapers was a great blow to both her self reliance and humility and sent away to a continued care home. I used to sew a lot my self but when my old reliable sewing machine, and with my shaky hands, it got too hard to thread my machine. I tried using my needle threaders but since I have to feed it thru the back of the needle to pull the thread thru properly which was tough enough but I ended up up bending and breaking my needle threader, I gave up. Sorry I didn't really mean to share my woes but it made me feel better to just put out there how much I hate getting to be so old and depressed.
Yes I don't like Snakes either Mrs E. Yeah I get migraines since I was 15 years old, thought for sure I would grow out of them, but no luck. Now as for you getting bad headaches during or before a storm is because of the barometer changes, I believe this cause I do the same thing. I got it Mrs E, we are psychic, I go for that one. LOL 😂😂 😂
I adore\ Edith Holden. I have several of her books but I can not bear to deface them- they are just too beautiful. I have looked for her books that are falling apart so I don't destroy beautiful books, but I haven't been successful in finding any :-( Still searching though! When I do I shall definitely be making lots of ephemera with them. Thank you for a great video :-) x
I love everything space & NASA, etc and I have a lot of large coffee table books on them including one of pictures by the Hubble Space Telescope that will make great pockets. Not necessarily one that’s a vintage look, cause the pics are very glossy! Maybe I can try using vellum over them or something. Thanks for sharing! 👋🏻🙏🏻
Love this idea and I would do some pretty crazy things to get my hands on Edith Holden pages! 😂 But I do have plenty of pages from wild flower books that will be lovely. Would you add another paper to the back if using magazines? Since they are usually pretty thin. Also, I have a friend that gets headaches before rain or a storm. She says it’s the change in barometric pressure that causes it. Take care Miss E! We love you!
I'm with you on the snake thing 😂
Ditto. Terrified😰

Bless you, honey.
Edith, I love the pockets. I use my Edith Holden pages for all kinds of things. They never disappoint.
Miss Edith, these are just lovely. I like the way you respect the artist's work and make effort not to damage the over all feeling of it.
Edith, I love everything you do. And, I must say that I love your voice with its soft accent...so soothing.
Anything with Edith Holden pages is beautiful. Can’t go wrong. Hope you are doing well. Sending prayers and happiness. 😊

I bought two Edith Holden Books, but still haven't gotten brave enough to take one apart. Maybe today is the day?!?!? Great video. Thanks!
So glad I watched this. I have lots of pretty book pages but hesitate to use as a page itself to be covered up. Now I can make beautiful pocket pages! 😊

Love Edith Holden, love idea for blank journal pages!
Hi E. Glad you caught that you didn’t glue the bottom of the small pocket. I was telling you but you didn’t hear me 😂. These pages are so pretty.
Thx so much Edith. I have three books of Edith Holdens I’ve been hoarding them waiting for the right video and you made it happen. Thx

These are so pretty!!! You could use the back of the snake page. Just blindly glue it to another page to cover it up. 💜🙂
I think of you often and hope you're doing well and adjusting to your new normal. I love these pockets. It would be so easy to make the shell of these while watching TV and then decorate them later. Thanks for the inspiration!

Oh my! I absolutely do not like snakes! Those pockets are very nice. Going to make some of these for sure.
I actually just finished my first real quilt. Yay. You always make such pretty things! ❤❤❤. Probably barometric pressure regarding your headaches.
Thank you for another great video! I love Edith Holden! My problem is that I can't decide which side of the page to use! Sometimes I wish there was a "single sided" Edith Holden book, LOL!! Hugs, my friend!
Love these ideas. Always looking for pocket ideas. Thank you. Feel better.

Thanks for sharing! 👋🏻🙏🏻
I just got an Edith Holden book....I will try to make lik yours.
Thank you. I have her book and have used some of the pages.
This is a good idea.
Love them all thank you so much
Beautiful
I love them!
I get headaches before a storm also. I blame it on the barometric pressure. I don’t know if that’s the problem but that’s what I think.
Love this idea and I would do some pretty crazy things to get my hands on Edith Holden pages! 😂
But I do have plenty of pages from wild flower books that will be lovely.
Would you add another paper to the back if using magazines? Since they are usually pretty thin.
Also, I have a friend that gets headaches before rain or a storm. She says it’s the change in barometric pressure that causes it.
Take care Miss E! We love you!
If they are really thin, then yes I would add another page for support.
I love this, thanks for sharing. I am with you, cant stand snakes either. YUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It could be the Barametric Pressure messing with your head. I get it also when the pressure fluctuates. Hope you feel better soon.
Thank you, great project. Where does one get an Edith Holden book/papers and Willam Morrison? Thank you.
Making jewlery for journal

Hallo groetjes uit nederland
I just bought her book, but it says no copies or reproductions, so I haven't used it.
