E, I wish you would stop putting yourself down, you’re very smart & very talented & it hurts my heart when you talk bad about yourself! I love to watch you & see the things you make! You make beautiful paper kits & & your crafting is beautiful! Hugs!🥰
I’ve enjoyed catching up on older videos tonight, having missed them when they came out due to health issues. The Journal Thursdays have all been great so far! Tho after a few videos, I found myself excited that the weekend was finally here…🙄☺️ What I find so wonderful is that no matter how many videos I watch of yours, I always learn something new. Thank you! Blessings 👋🏻❣️🙏🏻
Looked it up for you. Baree, Son of Kazan is an American novel by James Oliver Curwood. About a wild wolfdog pup who bonds with a girl living with her trapper father on the frontier, it is the sequel to Kazan. Originally published 1917. Love to watch you work. I like seeing the resources you recycle into beautiful things. Have a great weekend. God Bless!
Knowing the story behind the book makes the project even more special. Thanks for researching and sharing with us. Still watching from Lake Conroe, Texas.
Hello Eve!! I'm sitting working on my massive amount of ephemera, crafting right along with you. Girlfriend I have a heavy hand too. I just love old books, the feel, the smell 🥰🥰 Great video, thank you for sharing!! Much Love from Texas!!💕💕
Thanks so much for the step by step on how to create the spine and add the signatures !!! I struggle with this and this video is very helpful, thanks again!!💞
Hi Edith. This was the perfect project for me today as I have a beautiful old book cover that I want to make into a journal. Thanks for this helpful video. Val Australia
I love watching you make ephemera journals Edith. I did make your very large one & it's not bad for my first one. Like these smaller ones too for the smaller ephemeral. Be well, be safe & TYFS
I just put a Ephemera journal together Monday. I have to say that I fussed over the direction of the pages, forgot to mark the front top and befor I knew it I added my pockets upside down and backwards !!! Lol thankfully, mist of it is covered, and , well , it's mine soooo 🙃 I sure learned alot ! I got the idea from one of your other videos where I saw you using yours. I thought What a terrific idea , and had to make one ❤
Hello. I just found your site last night and love your instructions. For example, I haven’t used wax thread to sew the signatures in. I will definitely keep watching your videos. I love your accent and I also see that you have dark spots on your arms just like I have. It makes me feel better that someone else looks like me. So I love you. ❤ ❤. I’ll see you again soon. ❤
I just love the Ephemera book and I'm going to make me a large one like yours, watching your videos I saw you with your smaller book with Ephemera in it and i said I'm going to make one well I did and did an ok job and love it but I want a big one. 😍 thanks
I found this book for sale dated 1917. The same cover as yours. Just thought you would like to know. This is a great use of extra supplies. Great idea. Thank you.
I made a binder-style ephemera book for my 500 subbie giveaway in 2021. I haven't made one for myself yet though. 😆 Really love how yours turned out. I always like the look of the muslin lining the spine. Something about the simple natural look appeals to me. TFS, Miss E! 💖 ~Marci
I have not made an ephemera journal, I am still looking for a book to use. I have a couple of old ones (1800's), but I don't think they are quite big enough. I will have to take a look at your play list. These are wonderful ideas. I love that you recycle materials. Thanks for sharing.
Seems you have read my mind, I have just began my first journal. Have tea dyed paper and fabric covered the outside and insidecwith fabric.Hope to begin the inside today. Thanks for this vid❤ take care❤
This turned out beautifully - I love it! You are not alone, I'm a glueaholic, too! I try not to overdo it, but sometimes I get on a roll, and then I have too much glue! 😂😅😂 Thank you! 😊❤
HI E, I have never made an ephemera journal but have always wanted to. I'm scared to cut up old books in case I mess up the spine but I am going to give it a go!! I have my ephemera in boxes and can't see what I have so its kind of annoying. I am definitely going to try this one. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me to give it a go. x
Your tutorials are so enjoyable to watch. Especially when you scold yourself. Lol. Sounds so much like myself. The Old book is so beautiful! I love this idea. I didn't comment, but please tell Ms Brooklyn that she done a fantastic job with the 4th card to us, and I thank her for making it. She is a mini E, for sure! Love & God Bless
I just watched your video & was I surprised to see my hometown on that wax seal! Kaufmann & Wolf was a department store in the early 1900. Sadly the building is long gone.
Love how your book turned out, the only thing I will change when I make mine is to use Fabri-Tac Glue on the spine, fabric to fabric you get a much stronger hold. A person can never have enough of these type journals because we collect so much ephemera don't we though. I love your videos you a excellent teacher. TFS
So glad you preserved the stamp. I made a book for all my stamped words. It’s so much easier to find what I’m looking for now. Thanks for your great videos!
Greetings from Indiana!! I'm collecting stuff to make an ephemera book, now I need to get busy and just do it. Got any advice on motivation, scared I'm gonna mess it up!! TFS!
This is what I've needed Ms E something to put my washi stickers in. I have a 12 x12 Christmas pad that is not good for anything else I can use to make this. What is that material you are using 😊.
Edith, i have a concern about the longevity of glue sticks. Some things i used them on a couple of years ago has fallen off. I reglued art glitter and that seems to hold much better. Your thoughts? Thanks for all your wonderful inspirations!
Miss Edith, growing older is the toughest thing I've ever done. It is crushing to forget where you put your teeth or forget that you cannot play shortstop with the grandkids baseball game. Sigh.
E, I wish you would stop putting yourself down, you’re very smart & very talented & it hurts my heart when you talk bad about yourself! I love to watch you & see the things you make! You make beautiful paper kits & & your crafting is beautiful! Hugs!🥰
Oh my goodness!!! Kazan and Son of Kazan were some of my favorite books of childhood.

I actually have this book. I read it as a child. I loved dog stories and adventure stories.

I’ve had more fun making ephemera folders and collecting and catergorizing my stuffs. Thanks for this. Adore watching your thought process ❤

Thank you!ive been wanting to make an ephemera book.
Beautiful!!! I have PVC glue in a Sugar Belle bottle, too, and I use it a lot! It's my go-to glue!
It looks good. I think the rustic look works welll with old book covers. Thanks for sharing E. 🙂❤️

Love this! I have a couple of books that were in very sad shape when I picked them up but the covers are cool. Thanks!
I just watched your video & was I surprised to see my hometown on that wax seal! Kaufmann & Wolf was a department store in the early 1900. Sadly the building is long gone.
Isn’t that amazing? Wow!
This was awesome. I really enjoyed watching this.
I'm always excited to see your creativity!!!

Haha, just watched Melina !

I have fixed two for ephemera and a folder.
I didn't see the label holders listed in the products you used. Can you please link them for us? I ❤️ the journal.
Kaufman Wolf was a department store in Hammond Indiana.
thanks
Love watching you. I’m new to your channel.
I notice you mention Rachel’s channel. I wondered who she is and her connection with you. Smile😊
Her channel is linked below the video, she is just a fellow UA-camr.
Greetings from Indiana!! I'm collecting stuff to make an ephemera book, now I need to get busy and just do it. Got any advice on motivation, scared I'm gonna mess it up!! TFS!
I’m interested in ordering some of the clear plastic adhesive backed pockets you used in this book. Where did you find them?
This is what I've needed Ms E something to put my washi stickers in. I have a 12 x12 Christmas pad that is not good for anything else I can use to make this. What is that material you are using 😊.

I've never had an issue with this one. I usually don't use them on their own on anything that is really going to get wear and tear though.
Where did you get the plastic pockets???

On the front the book
Miss Edith, growing older is the toughest thing I've ever done. It is crushing to forget where you put your teeth or forget that you cannot play shortstop with the grandkids baseball game. Sigh.
😆 Oh me…I had to laugh out loud at that one! 🤗😆
I think these kids need to forgive us for getting old
What does ephemeral mean in journals. I looked it up and it meant a little while😢
Half dog half wolf, published in 1917
😂You buy craft stuff accidentally too ??? I'm not sure sometimes that some of my buys are accidental😅😅
