ABOUT CHICAGO PD
From Emmy Award-winning executive producer Dick Wolf comes "Chicago PD," a riveting police drama about the men and women of the Chicago Police Department's elite Intelligence Unit, combatting the city's most heinous offenses - organized crime, drug trafficking, high-profile murders and beyond. Detective Sergeant Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and his intelligence team have always considered rules to be guidelines more than actual laws. Their goal has always been to protect their great city and they have used unique ways to help bring criminals to justice. Now it's a new day and age in Chicago. Police are under siege and under a microscope - everyone from the federal government to politicians and citizens in their own city are watching. The intelligence team will feel the pressure, and their form of justice will be questioned and challenged.

It's even better when you realize they're not using stunt doubles for these scenes. These actors really have to stay in shape.

I'm starting to like everything that starts with Chicago
Me too
I totally agree
Same
Ikr
Michelle Wong same 😂😂😂
While the kid was eventually arrested later in the episode, the chase he gave Jay, Erin, and Atwater was one of the best from Chicago PD because he was one of the few fleeing suspects/offenders who managed to get away.
ok so the kid survived
@@playswith_squirrels yea they didnt catch him until he was at the hospital on his last target..he was badass that kid
@@lilikaramirez1848 ooooo nice
What episode is this?
Y’all sure cause I seen the full episode and there was remains on the tracks 😂
Y’all see how close Erin was to getting yeeted by the train
Lol what 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
She wanted to get hit. She was 2 close
@@deandre8432 She did not want to get hit-
it’s not erin its hailey
@@addie7490 that's not hailey, that's Erin. Hailey wasn't in season 2. More like season 4.
Why is every criminal in Chicago a parkour ninja
Ikr XD 😂
Someone must be training them 😂
Because there true life savers so they know
Maybe there is a school they all go to
@@mercedesroach9968 he is talking about criminals not police
Love that foot chase with halstead and the boy. I love all foot chases and fight scenes that Halstead and Ruzek do on the show each season. I love this show and the story lines keep getting better.
Jay? Omg 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Jay had the best chases and physical fights on this show since day 1!! His and Amaro's chase was brilliant in 2x07 and all the crossover episodes with SUV were another level of genius, as well as Jay's solo chase in 2x02, and the one that wasn't put in this video, from 6x02 - all brilliantly done. Plus, the chase and the fight between Jay and the gang member of the Latin Kings in 1x11 is still worthy of the Bourne franchise - brilliant choreography. All of these involved Jay, and he has done even more great stunts on this show.
And if you closely follow the show and the actor, it's understandable why Halstead, in particular, had so many great chases/fights. It's because the actor, Jesse Lee Soffer, is the best-trained actor out of the whole cast. Few fun facts for people who maybe just started to watch PD or those who don't know: Brian Luce is an expert and producer on the show, a real veteran Chicago cop, and he and Jesse have been basically best buddies since day one, their families became friends. And Luce said that Jesse is the only one among the cast who could make a great cop in real life. Jesse is the best shooter out of the cast in real life - he is an excellent shooter, and is also the fittest, in great physical shape. Just a few of the curiosities.
But this is also why, it pis*es me off even more, how the new producers and writers treated Halstead character since mid-season 7. They ruined him by involving him with yet another, too-dramatic romantic relationship with Hailey, and they ruined his relationship with Hank. Hank and Jay were only getting closer through the years, and after Erin left they were absolutely on the same page, they were on the trajectory to be even closer after season 6, and then, in season 7, it all got ruined because the writers& producers bent to the public pressure to make a show less badass, they went wrong about the police reform issue (after Floyd case and protests - if you remember this huge dispute about TV cop shows in the media) and they dragged all characters and the show with it, but mostly Jay and Hank were hurt by this storyline, and their relationship.
Even the actor said in a few interviews, he wanted Jay to go in the opposite direction, and be closer to Hank, not butt heads with him. So now I'm not surprised at all that Jesse decided to leave the show and left, you can tell by these interviews, that he was not happy with how they wrote his character for the past 4 seasons. The quality of the show declined in general, that is a fact.
The clips in this video only made me more nostalgic about the old Chicago PD, made me think how great it once was, and that I miss it because the current Chicago PD is nowhere near as good!
And Jesse, who was absolutely brilliant as badass and sarcastic Halstead in the first 6 seasons, and worked so hard and gave his all for all these years, simply deserved better in the last 4 seasons of the show!! And the fans deserved a better story and ending for Halstead as well! I don't know if he will come back to wrap the Halstead storyline better and once and for all, I hope so, but it doesn't matter either way for me, because I no longer watch the current Chicago PD. The best seasons will always be seasons 1- 6 and the Infection crossover episodes at the start of season 7, after that, it all went downhill.
Halstead had the best stunts on this show, always. Jesse is one of the best runners I've ever seen, he just looks excellent while running, like it is all effortless for him, and he has very quick feet. In comparison, Ruzek always looked clumsy while running because the actor who plays Ruz isn't as fit as Jesse, he is heavier, and he runs slower, it's visible. Fun fact: Jesse did most of his physical stunts on the show, especially in the early seasons, he also has a black belt in some type of martial arts, but I don't remember now which one exactly. I read it in the interview. God, I miss this, I miss the old Chicago PD !! With the old, original team, I miss the old Halstead who was badass and had a sarcastic sense of humor, and when all the characters were more badass and the action scenes were way, way better! The old is gold! The absolutely brilliant seasons of this show will always be seasons 1 -5, and then the good ones were still season 6 and the start of season 7, but seasons 8,9, 10 were horrible, and not the same show. My favorite characters will always be the original Hank (nowadays Hank is way too bland), Olinsky, Halstead from seasons 1-6, Erin and Mouse.
I’m a black belt to karate is great to keep you in shape and it’s so fun
Jay always has the best chase/action scenes and he seems to be the most athletic
Dude was an ex-army ranger
the way Sophia cleared that fence was impressive and not just because she is a girl!!
its impressive for a girl!!
@@wolfy4734 sexist
It’s impressive for anybody.
This comment is a bit sexist my friend😂
It’s not sexist. Girls aren’t physically capable of everything men are. That’s not my opinion it’s literally objective.
Seriously when did yelling “ Stop police” ever made the offender turn around and be like “ Yeah sure il stop”😂
I LOVE how when the boy ran in front of the car and Lindsay stopped Jay just tapped the front like "come on" without even stopping and without a word they got out and starting chasing too!!
I almost thought Erin and Atwater were going to get hit
me too.😞😐

Hell the Chicago PD is them Walker Texas Ranger cause they fight and can do karate too. Especially Jay and Antonio
He sure can run.

I really felt for this kid & his family. He probably felt what he was doing was the only way to handle men like them
dude that kid in the blue hoodie is FAST
Are we gonna ignore the fact that Lindsay nearly got hit by the train.
It was a very Divergent moment
Imagine Jay got shot😶
They had to be scared with that train
Real deal up to the point of the horn on the El Train. Hi pitch whistle. Other than that spot on. From a former REAL chicago cop.

He's so positively agile 😊❤❤
I love the show I watch Chicago PD Chicago fire Chicago med
What season and episode is this??
season 2 episode 2
Rehearsal(warm-up practice)-Training(actual tools)
I still love Chicago PD but this was back when the show was in its prime and the best. Wd had much more action and saw them out in the field getting physical, along with better plots. They new how to highlight a scene and maximize their characters without making it a soap opera which the show has leaned toward heavily the last 3-4 seasons.
😭😭😭😢😥mom is😡I need help my❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
The question is, where'd he go?
To the Hospital
What the episode i really wanna watch full
How did he got away if he got hit by the train
