Had to come back and watch the rest of the video.....wow ....and of course I had to comment again. How many of you" Gayle subbies" wished you could spend a whole craft day with this lady? She's just killing it today!!!

Thank you for such a lovely comment, June! ❤️
Wonderful! Just want to say a heartfelt thank you to all the firefighters. I live north of you in Canada and we also experience fire season. ❤️
You were cracking me up so hard with your sewing! LOL! When you said you hoped it was more interesting than the sewing machine I thought I would choke! I was so glad I wasn’t drinking! Riveting was the word! You always make me enjoy watching you! If I loose motivation I watch you...
When I'm not motivated, I sit watch Gayle and laugh with her. Gayle you are precious!!! I love watching you!!
Ava Shirley you’re the sweetest! ❤️
I had great fun watching your misadventures, and enjoyed the giggles.

I just love you videos. They are addictive and teach so much. Thank you
Gayle, this is the best video yet! Two needles, scissors and a pin and no blood. You even managed to not fall off your chair. It's an adventure and a learning experience. I laughed right along with you. Keep going. Luv you and your ideas
Hi, Gayle! I have been watching now for a few months. I love your videos and your journaling tutorials! Most of all I love the way you refer to your activity as "play." Play is even more important as we move through life. I recently retired from early childhood education when I broke both my arms in an accident. I am beginning to jump into junk journaling and have sooooo enjoyed watching you and a few others. Bless you for being on You Tube!
Love you back, my sweet Carolyn!! ❤️
Gayle watching you as I too am doing this kit. Did you do one signature, or two. I can’t tell for sure. I was doing two, but life would be easier if I did one. There is so much to this kit. I’m watching this needle ordeal as I type. Oh me.
Your laugh is infectious! I lost my brother last week and watching you made me laugh and smile! Love the heart! Your videos got me started making journals!! I will be retiring soon and cant wait to journal all day! We love ya!
MsSidCraftNation aw, thank you for the sweet comment! I’m so sorry about the loss of your brother. Sending comforting hugs your way. ❤️
MsSidCraftNation I’m so sorry for your loss. Ms Gayle’s sweet voice and infectious laugh are definitely soothing to the soul! Hugs to you crafting friend 😊
Angie Kim thank you so much for your sweet comment. Crafters are the best.❤️
Welcome MsSid!!!!! That Gayle of ours sure is a keeper isnt she. Love watching her to brighten my days.
Bless your heart. It’s so good to get some joy and laughter in between the sorrow. I’m hoping you heal as quickly as possible. Hugs, treen💜💜💜
Hello Gayle, your video was the first video I watched this morning. And I loved it. It made my day so much easier.
Motivation - I have a set group of artists that I enjoy watching on You Tube. Putting materials in front of me is inspiring. Rifling through my stash, when cleaning inspires me to make a mess all over again. I enjoy picking a random UA-cam video to watch, because each artist has something uniquely their own to offer. I agree with you Julie. Sometimes inspiration comes when I am trying to sleep! lol
I receive motivation/ inspiration from everywhere. However, what is always with me there is my passion for what I do. When I feel a bit low, I stop , rest my mind, do something else, and bingo, something pops up and I’m on my way again. Sometimes you have to break away. That’s what you have just learned by taking weekends off.
Oh I loved watching this video Gayle. You’ve made me laugh so much on what is going to be a very difficult day. I’m finishing off clearing and saying goodbye to my marital home but your laughter will get me through it. Thank you so much 😊
Sending warm, comforting hugs, Jean. Bless your heart. Xoxo. ❤️
Gayle I LOVE your videos!!! You crack me up and make me smile not to mention inspiring me!
Gayle you make my day today. I really needed the smile. Love all your videos. Love from Norway.
Gayle, you are killing me here. I am hooked on your tutorials, and have noticed how you are so methodical on putting the items you use back. I have an 8’ table in my awesome craft room that I work on and I use baskets, etc. to store the things I need to work on whatever I am doing. The bad thing is, within a half hour, I find myself working on an 8x8 work space and the table is a foot deep in everything you can imagine, this I might add is to the horror of my husband. He always says I don’t know how you make all the things you do in this mess. If you can’t see it you won’t use it. I remind him that asked for 10’ of table space. He shakes his head and leaves. Have faith, I am really so organized I can get this stuff cleaned up in 15 to 20 minutes. Life would be easier if I could be as disciplined as you I am truly envious. Thanks for the alcohol tip on the ribbon tag, I will be using that soon. Barb
I have enjoyed this video so much. Love your laugh. I watch your videos everyday. Love your work. You give me lots if ideas.
Christmas must be your Holiday! I have been watching your videos for awhile and I think I have heard you laugh more in the last couple then all of them put together. I love it!
I want some of what you had in your coffee!! You are having way too much fun today! Great video. Loved the last pocket.
Watching you in your craft with me videos just makes me laugh out loud! It is such a joy to see how much you enjoy doing your craft!
Great little fabric embellishments and I agree with you, the heart one is gorgeous.
Your projects and crafting ability are awesome!
I love watching your video it makes me more creative and you have such beautiful pages and embelishments
Oh my goodness. Best ever video yet. I had tears laughing along with you . You crack me up, and it’s all natural. As for motivation tell Kelly to watch your videos. Seriously Kelly motivation is something that you want and desire, whether it is crafting , cooking, gardening etc etc . If youre keen it will come. Just relax and enjoy. Or just watch Gayle . Xxxx
Oh, you’re a sweetie, Patricia! Thank you for your sweet comment!! ❤️
If someone loses their motivation for journaling just watch one of Gayle's videos. I get excited to try new things when I watch one of her videos.
Thank you so much, Lois! ❤️

Scarred for life! Scarred for life, I tell ya! LOL! NOT! Fun video and whatever got you tickled made for fun! Love your embellies! TFS the inspiration!
Watching other artists motivates me. Actually, you Gayle are a huge motivation... watching you gets me into my closet studio pretty much daily. My husband just thinks we spend way to much time together lol. Thanks Gayle, I love crafting with you and even though you don’t know your “subbies ”, I know I refer to you when I say, “ I’m crafting with my friend.”
You were in rare form today Gayle.... laughing out loud right along with you! Thank you!
Hi Pam! Even though I don’t “know” my subbies...I kinda feel like I do! Like your hubby says...we spend a lot of time together! Haha! You all motivate me too, to keep coming up with things that we can do when we craft together. Seriously, I don’t know what got into me today. All sorts of goofy!! Thanks for your sweet comment, Pam!! ❤️
I think we all love the goofiness, you are just fun to hang with and keeping it real keeps us coming back
Watching your videos has motivated me!!!
oh Gayle I love watching you .you always make me laugh
God bless your heart! you made me laugh so much. Your joy is simply contagious.
I love all your videos but this is one of my favorites. I will watch it again and craft along with you. I love how you laugh at yourself but keep going. TFS
Such a fun craft with me Gayle. I love the giggly you today. That rustic sewn heart is just tooooo adorable!
For Kelly: watch tons of videos & look at other crafts. Get Your work out there Kelly; and Gayle You are motivation because You do such awesome things and I learn from You almost daily. TFS! Judy
Thank you, Judy!! ❤️
I loved watching this Gayle. Everything turned out so beautifully! I love the floating pocket too. 😍😍
Thankyou for the mention, so kind of you, and Thankyou for all your joy and inspiration. ❤️💕
I love when you get giggling! It gets me laughing too! I am working on a Christmas Cardinal journal for my mom! I am using the same kit! Fun to see what you are doing and what I can do to make something like what you did!
Coffee stain gingerbread guys!! Wow! You are truly inspirational! .....and so much fun to work ‘with’ while I craft!😘😘
I have been watching you videos for some time now and you never fail to make me giggle along with you, you are an inspirational artist and even when you make a mistake it turns out amazing in the end lol I always look forward to your next video best wishes Michelle x
Watching videos motivates me...looking at my supplies...searching ideas on Pinterest...belonging to a swap group. Gayle I love watching you and get so many wonderful ideas (mine may not turn out like yours but I sure try!!!). Love that you can laugh and not have everything you do planned out...thanks for being a great teacher.
Those husbands! LOL....They are so...but we love them. You are so much fun to watch. I loved every minute. Thank you so much.
Motivation - i watch YT videos like yours (and others) and get inspired to try the new fun little things. If I’m stuck on a project, I make small things like altered paperclips, or tea dye, or go shopping for new supplies! The videos by others are my biggest inspiration though.
Hi Gayle! Thanks for the shout out lol. Enjoying the video. 💕
Gayle, your funny moments are contagious. And your journal is coming out great as always....:)
Had fun Gayle, loved everything you have put together for your book. Keeping my mojo is often keeping my house and family in a good order so I may not get nearly the interruptions that I get when I have been "MIA". If I get stressed out, I head to the craft room. There I let my adventure begin. So I guess I view this crafting, as my own little world and all of these wonderful crafters are here to motivate me and keep me going. It's a mind set, I hope this helps.
Gayle, you are a joy to watch!
Wonderful ideas... Love it...you crack me up... Bless you...
Thank you, Patty! You’re so sweet! Sometimes I go off shift and just have trouble being serious! 🤪❤️
Love you! Wish I had a mom, sister or friend like you!
That's the way my mother taught me to make a knot too, it's easier. I want to thank you for sharing all you do with us.
My pleasure, Ronda!! Love what we all do! ❤️
Oh, Gayle you are hilarious. What fun.
Oh my gosh, Gayle. I was laughing right along with you during the whole video. Your little mishaps are all things that I do while crafting too, so I'm glad I'm not alone. Most of the time I can't help laughing at myself because a lot of my mishaps are just down right silly. Thank you so much for sharing, even when things go wrong. This journal is beautiful!
I just love watching your videos. Especially when things don’t always go your way. I love how you make it work plus have a sense of humor about it. I often laugh along with you bc I know it’s like you said. “An occupational hazard.” 💜
You made me laugh so hard, love it. that's why people love you watch you, so positive and you can laugh at yourself. Besides being good at making journals and coming up with ideas.
If I need inspiration or motivation, I follow some of the Julia Cameron philosophy by going on an artist date by going to a thrift store and/or craft store for stimulation. I also get motivation by creating things that help "get me in the zone". Decorating tags, journal cards, or tickets.....something that I can do without thinking too much.....watching my favorite crafters on UA-cam is wonderful too. My problem is that I get bad hot flashes while I'm crafting....they get so bad that I have to stop and cool off with extra fans around me.....this is hilarious. My husband and Doctor have been alerted to no avail!
Maria, such good tips and advice! Thank you! ❤️
I do that too!! i just recently started her Artists Way for the..third time since she first came out with it must be at least twenty years i find myself going back to the basics and cleaning my mental closet and it really really works and Im inspired by this junk journal community how can you not be??
Everything is just beautiful!
P.S. I want some of whatever it is that is making you so giddy. Lol 😂 You were cracking me up. Too fun!
This was such a fun episode and listening to you has put me in a wonderful mood' I really need that at this point of things in my life. Thank you for that! The journal is going to be fabulous just like everything you make. Crafty hugs Janine :)
OK! This is now my favorite journal. The heart pocket is adorable, I love seeing you do new things. You have an artist eye for colors and layers. It’s so funny when you get the giggles. Believe me they could get tons of my DNA from anything I have ever made. Thank you for this video and for your bubbly personality.💕
Hi Gayle, First time watching you and LOL. Loved your video, personality and what FUN!!! New to journaling and am so excited to learn how to make a beautiful journal. Loved all the stories ; the mean sister ha ha, husband (can relate) and poking your finger (sorry but it did make me laugh). Thank you for being YOU!!!
You are on a roll today!! Lol! Always fun to watch you❤ Kelly, motivation may come for just being in your craft room, prepping or cleaning. Ripping material or inking journal cards for future projects.
Well Gayle, you do the cutest things! Love to watch you and you always inspire and excite me to get into my craft room and make something.....but I sit and move on to another of your videos!
What a conundrum! HELP! 😂
Aw, Roylene, its a struggle...so how about watching while you’re crafting? I’m so happy you enjoy my videos!! Hugs! ❤️
I think you have all of Olala;s inventory! Her stuff is so yummy! I also love love love the gingerbread man paper. So awesome! Now I must buy some ribbon crimps also. :) I hope you have a fantastic week! Hugs.
You always make my day Gayle your so funny. Love your creativity you inspire me so much xxx crafty hugs Sam xxxx
Gayle, Thank you so much for your videos! Your expressions crack me up - because I have some of the same ones! My biggest problem with motivation is being motivated enough to get the "have to" things done so that I have time to craft. I would rather work on journals than do anything else. I can also relate to the having to learn to be more random! I have a compulsion about clipping loose threads, and have a tough time doing the "grungy" thing because it is not neat, orderly and clean. And tiny, perfect stitches???? A must for me. But I am learning...
So much fun; my husband loves you Gayle because you make me laugh out loud!
So fun watching you, love the envelope at the end of video‼️
Oh Gayle, you make me laugh so much !!! You make my day !! :)
Do you know that i do believe that you can hear us..... when you were about to glue your paper onto the cardinals paper, i was shouting : their head Gayle !! You are gluing onto their head !! LOL
For Kelly, well, i want to say "watch Gayle's videos, and your motivation is back !" :) :)
Or, i watch hauls videos.... or, i go junk journal bits and bobs shopping :)
Thank you Gayle for your very relaxing and fun videos !!! and for the inspiration :) ...... but i have to say that i miss your sewing...
Sabine
I’ll have to figure out the sewing thing, Sabine. Maybe if I put my machine to the side...I’ll give it a try!! ❤️
@@gayleagostinelli_ct you are so sweet !! But you know, your comfort le the more important gayle !! Please don't wring your neck for me !! 😀
My motivation can wane sometimes also, i then go through my books, or thrift shop and find a topic to do the next journal about...i have to inspired by something or someone....i have made myself a list of journals that i found inspiring on UA-cam, i look through those when looking for new ideas and topics. I have a box for each of my topics and when i find something i put it in the box eg picture, book, charms....and i collect colours for the topic eg fabric, buttons, paper etc...i have a little note book just for types of journals i would like to make and then i write notes on different elements i would like to include....in between journals i do some painting or mixed media project just to give myself a break
I have laughed so much Gayle. Thank you
So beautyful. Thanks for al your video's. I am new to junk journals and I learn a lot!. I love it!!! Greetings from Marjan from the Netherlands🌷🙋
I love the Somerset magazines. I just started buying. I expect that you will soon be featured in one of them. Your projects are wonderful
Aw, you’re a sweetie, Terry! ❤️
Oh Gayle I want some of whatever you’re on 😂😂 you are always so bubbly and full of enthusiasm! I love watching your videos and your work is always amazing! Sending you crafty hugs from down under 😍
OMG....I always laugh with you but today was the funniest! I am going to Michael's tomorrow for ribbon ends...loved, loved that embellishment and your heart one was awesome. Hope your finger doesn't fall off...lol..
Wow this journal is just going to be stunning. Xx
Another fun adventure with Gayle! I am not sure what the issue was with your Art Glitter Glue, but since you primarily craft in your basement, remember that if the glue gets too cold, it may clump and not be useable. It doesn’t always happen, but from what I have read, it is a strong possibility. I assume the basement is always heated, but if you are away for a few days and lower the heat in there during that time, take your glue upstairs.
Wade was watching football with the sound muted while we watched your video. He said, You’re going to want to try that glitter glue Gayle has aren’t you? Yep, I am. He knows me so well! I’m glad you managed to tame it. I love the tiny line of glue it lays down.
Gayle, please, understand when I explain that my falling asleep this afternoon while you were doing your thing is no reflection on your videos. Princess Cooper (our 7 year old great-niece) spent the night and today with us. She and the hubs are best pals, and she is a BALL of energy. When she leaves, we both sort of wilt. :) Absolutely adore the child but wow, she's something! So, anyway, I put on your video to watch for some time that required nothing of me. In no time my eyes were heavy and next thing I know, I hear you giggling off and on and it's like a soundtrack to my dreams.
I can crack myself up so easily, just have myself a silly little party all alone or in my bed. So I get it, I truly do. :) Loving the fabric embellishments. For someone who sewed for years, I have a shockingly small fabric stash. When I became ill and could no longer sit at the machine for hours, I just kind of lost heart for it and gave away or tossed most of it. Kicking myself now, of course. Anyway...
Cindy, haha! I totally hear you with the little ones. They can take it out of you, can’t they? My youngest grandson is a ball of fire like that and I need a nap when I’ve spent time with him!! Last time we visited, I taught him to make a journal. My daughter says I created a monster! He turns every piece of paper that isn’t nailed down into a journal!! Haha!! Truly I’m honored to be the sound track to your dreams! Lol!! Big hugs to you, Cindy! ❤️
Ha ha ha ha Your poor finger that got stabbed. You laughing makes us laugh too!!
I am so enjoying this video!
Oh my gosh you had me howling!! I'm thinking she wishes she had young eyes how's that pin going into that bottle and sure enough yowza!! I don't think you can apologize for being a fun person, it just happens. Love it!!!
oh goodness, this is just beautiful!!!
If I need motivation or inspiration these are some things I do. I keep 2-3 journals in the making so I can bounce between them. I also might take a break and make some cards or do another crafting project and then come back to my journal. Watching You Tube, Pinterest and Facebook is often very inspiring! Sometimes I just sit down and thumb through books I purchased to tear apart for my journals. Going to the flea market, Goodwill or crafting fairs is helpful! If nothing is working, then I just take a day or two and step away and come back when I'm ready. Hope this helps!
Hi Gayle. Thank you for sharing. Your projects in this video look great.
Laughing along with you. I have stabbed myself like that so many times, clearly not learnt my lesson on that one ☺. Thank you for all your inspiration. X
Just beautiful!
Hi Ms.Gayle!!! Love love love everything!!! Beside watching and laughing with you, I have some ideas of my own thanks to you!!! As for Kelly I watch videos and I try to make something I like and then I'll use it for what I'm working on or just put it in my stash. I use to try to finish one project at a time, but that doesn't work for me . I was always thinking I have to finish that before I can do this. But now I just enjoy what I like to no matter how many little or big things I have. I might see something that I can use in another project that I have, then I'll see something else I can use for something else..... Kelly can organize an area and find something she forgot she had and may want to use it. I found a lot of things during my organizing my craft room. I do enjoy your videos because your always doing something different, and I like that fact that I feel like I'm having a conversation with you and everyone watching! True story! Have a nice Monday Ms.Gayle!!! Hugs my friend!!! ~Liz~
Loved the video and had a lot of laughs! When I need motivation I watch videos. It totally motivates me, gives me new ideas! I wish I could craft full time 😃
You have so much fun!
Too funny about your husband. A few days ago, I specifically told mine I was going downstairs to record. He commenced to start the washing machine, vacuum, and walk all over the house above where I was recording - bad enough I was in the part of the basement where the furnace, water and sewer pipes feed in and out of the house. Sigh. I love the cloth dangle you did. Thanks for sharing your techniques, thoughts, and giggles!
Gayle, your laugh is so infectious. I end up giggling every time you do...so thanks for that! I love to see what you're doing on your projects. I would say that possibly Kelly is overwhelmed by the process of journaling or it may not be a true passion for her. I think if you're excited about doing something the motivation just happens. I would never discourage anyone but we all have to find the right passions in life. Good luck Kelly and try to find your true passion. If this is it then try to simplify your process.
Such great advice, Dorothy! Thank you! ❤️
