Sixmile Creek at High Water

Anchorage, Alaska's premier whitewater run at high water. Six kayakers fired up Sixmile Creek at 12.5 feet, 4,390 cfs.

Had fun rafting this about a month ago with Chugach Outdoors. It was a blast and the whole family enjoyed. Not for the faint of heart. They provide a dry suit and you must swim across the river where you start out. Bring your own neoprene gloves to protect your hands. Funny how staircase gets easy at that level but zig zag and merry go round get a more interesting. Nice ride in junkyard. Missing that run right now
