When a person listens with their heart, the spirit compensates for any inadequacies! These videos are so amazing and I hope you know how much you are loved, and appreciated for the wonderful information that people receive through the spirit….. Thank you for all that you do
Here, here. I've been struggling with faith since 2013. When I saw the video on restored temple rites I fell to the floor and wept. God is good, God lives, God loves us. God bless you Jeff.
It is good to know that because of your work in the spirit, i can speak the gospel in faith and competence to those I love. Thank you friend, I have hope now and a space where I can use it for further education. THANK YOU, and may god bless you well in this.
Absolutely love your videos. It was evident at the beginning that you must’ve spent an enormous amount of time on these. I just feel so grateful because these are so unique, and I’ve shared them many times with friends and family! Thank you so much for sharing your zeal for knowledge and truth. Please thank your family also…!! ❤
Thank you so much for these very kind words and for the support! I shared your comment with my family as you asked (and did so with joy as they have been a great help behind the scenes!)
Every time I watch your videos I always tell myself that what you are teaching would probably take me a lifetime to study and learn. To me it’s almost as if you had a Joseph Smith moment because he was able to translate The Book of Mormon on an unheard of amount of time and you are able to make these videos so quickly. God truly did help you and Brother Joseph in accomplishing what He needed to be accomplished. Thank you!
I am very humbled by your words. I acknowledge that there were many times during this project where I did feel way beyond my capabilities and somehow the Lord made up the difference. I believe it is the principle that President Monson always taught us “when we are on the Lord’s errand, we are entitled to the Lord’s help”. It is a comforting feeling trusting that principle when we act on a prompting!!
@@latterdaysaintsqa Hi Jeff, I just have a quick question for you. I love your videos and have shared them with family in Brazil (glad you have the Portuguese translation). I have made a few videos of my own and have family in Brazil that would like me to include the translations in Portuguese for my videos. Will you please let me know what company or software that you use in order to get the captions to translate to Portuguese? I would greatly appreciate any insight that you can offer.
Thanks for reaching out and thanks for sharing the videos (so happy to hear the Portuguese captions have been helpful!) I’m happy to share how I obtained the captions - I have used the company Rev.com. I will add that it has always been fairly expensive but recently they significantly increased their prices - charging now $8 per minute of video (used to be $3 or $4 a minute as I recall). They do include a free English captions with a foreign captions order.
@@latterdaysaintsqa Thank you for taking the time to share this information with me. It is a bit pricey, but I am truly grateful that you paid the price for your videos. If it is ok with you, maybe when I discuss a topic that has a close relationship to one of your videos I can post one of your videos on my channel… would that be ok with you? Then the people I know in Brazil can watch and share more of your episodes. Either way, thanks for your time and sharing your talent at researching and diving into some great church/gospel related content!
I can’t even find your name… But your tremendous efforts to publish these videos amaze me. I’ve watched them repeatedly and am beyond grateful for the incredible amount of information you’ve distilled into reasonable length videos. Your influence has to have been huge. Thank you. And God bless you. .
Thank you so much for your very kind words! ….and my name is Jeff Roundy; I probably should have shared that more - I only said it during the trailer video, but not anywhere else.
Thank you so much for sharing the Gospel in such a structured and faithful way and for bearing witness of the restored Gospel, the word of God and of Jesus Christ! Your videos have provided many inspirational moments for me. I've always been a bookworm but I've only read a few of the books you've mentioned. I now have a huge list of books I'm looking forward to reading. Thanks again Jeff!
I hope you can continue to make more of these when you can. Sometimes 40 + hours a week to prepare these wow that is taxing on you I’m sure. Well I and I know many appreciate it. I turn to this channel for spiritual knowledge and wisdom. The Holy Ghost is here and I come back for that. Hope all is well and you’re doing good brother.
Thank you so much for your kind comment! I am still heavily involved via answering comments or direct emails (through the website of the same name) - typically spending 1 - 2 hours a day. I have also left the door open to make additional videos if the need arises in an area I haven't already covered in some way.
your work is absolutely incredible and i’m sure it took so much work and sacrifice, but it has built my testimony so much and i really hope i can meet you one day so i can fully express my appreciation for your work
Thank you so much for your kind words...and yes, building the video library was a ton of work. But hearing comments like yours about the help it has been to your testimony, makes it all feel worth it!! Thank you
I thank you so much for your powerful work and Testimony before the Lord. I plan when I have a family one day to show my children this Library and build their testimony through Study and Faith. You have certainly strengthened mine.
Thanks so much to you and your family for everything you did to make these videos. I feel so blessed to have these resources. The videos are very faith-promoting and I will be happy to share them!
I subscribe to and follow many LDS apologist UA-cam and Podcast sites. Your videos are jewels and standout as some of the very best in defending the Book of Mormon and the restored gospel.
Total stud!! You’ve helped so many people get past some of these issues and other that for me we’re almost deal breakers, now for the most part they are at least palatable. Thanks so much.
I just want to say how grateful I am that you made these videos, they have helped me tremendously. I recently just came out of a huge faith crisis and I don’t think my testimony has ever been stronger. You’re a good man with a kind heart, thanks for all you do Brother Roundy!
Thank you so much for your time and dedication on this. This has helped me more than you can know and is such a refreshing change with so much negative information about the church thats out here.
Just want to say thank you for all of these fantastic videos! Your series along the the LDS truth claims have been monumentally helpful to me, and I’ve shared both with many people. Hope you know that many lives have been very blessed because of your work!
Thank you so much for preparing these videos. I have a very long commute and I listen to these on the way. It really helps to set the tone for my day and gives me good things to ponder.
I really like these lessons and I was wondering if this brother is still making these? I see the latest lesson was 3 years ago I’m guessing during the pandemic. Hope he makes more I love the information and Spirit that comes from these.
Thank you so much for your support and kind words! The video library of content I set out to build is complete so I mainly just stay involved answering comments and emails at this point. If a topic comes up that needs to be addressed that I haven't already done so in some fashion I would consider adding additional videos at that point. Thanks!
@@latterdaysaintsqa thank you for you dedication and hard work. I’m a little disappointed but I understand. Very good series one of the best on UA-cam. I look forward to any additional episodes. The Spirit is with you brother thank you again 🙏
I have really enjoyed your efforts and work. I was a seminary teacher starting back in 1987 and never felt it was appropriate to gloss over any question. I was also an institute director in CA and we as a church and students in high school and college were bombarded with anti everything. I appreciate you taking on these questions head on. I did also and have never regretted it. Seeking for truth from anyone deserves thoughtful, researched, and faithful answers. Thanks.
I hardly ever leave comments on the videos I watch but your work is too powerful and inspiring not to let you know how much it is appreciated. Thank you so much for sacrificing so much time and effort for your audience. Your videos have had an enormous influence in my life, and I believe will be a tool for helping so many people that are struggling or searching for truth, gain more of an understanding and spiritual strength from the work you’ve done. I’m not sure what compelled you to make such videos but I believe it was inspired. Again, thank you so much for the many long hours that you and your family have sacrificed! I believe you will be blessed for your efforts.
Your words mean so much to me and I will share them with my family (I greatly appreciate you mentioning them as it was a huge sacrifice on their part as well)! Thank you!!! So glad you found the channel and it has been valuable in strengthening faith.
Aaaaand DONE! It took me about a month to listen to all your videos (some of them twice!). Whew, that was AWESOME! This is now officially one of my favorite UA-cam channels. 🙂 I just love all the content & feel prepared for criticism about the Church. Thank you SO MUCH for your labor of love for all these videos. You have helped arm an army of God! 💪
Thank you brother for sharing your gift of testimony, gift of teaching and gift of knowledge. So much negative content out there on these subjects and i've spent my fair share of hours (hundreds) learning about these subjects from negative sources. You've given all of us a source that addresses these "essay" type subjects from a source of faith and positive influence. I look forward to asking some questions as i watch more of your videos.
Sir. Brother. I appreciate you taking the time to make these videos. Your enthusiasm reminds me of the enthusiasm that I have finding out new things. I’ve read and watched others try and explain things, knowing as a future educator that in order to make a claim of evidence you must have a source to back it up. Thought I found some, your videos resonated with me. I haven’t watched all of them, but I plan to. Having a recent crisis of faith, I went on a spiritual journey myself, not unlike the Prophet Joseph. I your videos always appeared at the top as ads, but only recently did I actually click on them to watch. And man, am I glad I did. I believe the words of President Nelson, that good inspiration is brought about by good information. I’m glad I can continue my research in faith and I thank you for the time and effort that you put into each of the videos. God bless you in all your endeavors Brother.
Thank you so much for your comment and I am so glad you found the channel! Sometimes I have wondered if I should keep running those discovery ads and then I see a comment like yours and it answers my question! Hope the videos can help you on your faith journey - let me know if you have any follow up questions. You can reach me directly as well through my website (where I keep all the video transcripts) - latterdaysaintsqa.com, using the contact me link. Thanks!
Thank you so very much for your work and sharing and teaching the Gospel on this platform. Your youtube program was my very first discovery and I've dearly loved your Book Reviews, your enthusiasm and love of the Gospel, which I happen to share with you. So I #Givethanks for you, your wonderful efforts, plans and teachings. It greatly resonates with my own testimony. Thank you. Happy Thanksgiving!
Love these videos you've made! Started going through them a year or so ago. Any question about gospel evidences I had could be answered on this channel, really fantastic work!
Well my friend. I have enjoyed the great contribution you’ve made here to build faith in the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. Thank you! I have binged and will he referring to these and sharing often. I hope to see videos trickle in from time to time. And as for the speed of your excited speech. It resonated with me perfectly. Sound quality? Pffffft. It was fine! The content was powerful. Wilford Woodruff’s recorded testimony didn’t have good sound quality. But I won’t ever mention that to him. 😉 Again. Thank you for this most excellent resource! I’m grateful for it.
Thank you Sarah - it was fun to connect with you at the conference. Thanks again for all the great work you have done to defend the faith! Now you can see why I said I could have really used your work as a resource when I was making these videos 😁
Thank you! I have actually setup a Facebook page (same name - Latter-day Saints' Q&A) and am slowly uploading all the videos there so missionaries currently serving have access to them now
Loved what you are doing jeff keep on doing in spreading the true gospel I will support you all the way I will ask my lds friends to subscribe your channel.
Curious about your associations/church sponsorship? Are you an independent voice of inquiry or sponsored approved by the Mormon leadership? A Jack Mormon asking.
Thank you for asking - zero church sponsorship (and zero sponsorship from anyone for that matter). 100% independent voice - just have a deep passion for my beliefs and want to defend and share them.
Thank you so much! I may make an additional videos periodically in the future if the need arises - a topic that comes up which I haven't already addressed in some way.
@@latterdaysaintsqa I think you can address the topic of Mayas and the relation with the Book of Mormon. Popol Vuh, (The Mayas' Bible) I read in other books that there are some writings about the Mayas saying that their origin is from Israel.. very interesting. Try it!!
Plans to do another video? I’ve really enjoyed these as I have been struggling with doubts. It gave me a little something to hold on to while I’ve worked to rekindle my faith. Topic I’m interested in: evidences of prophets since joseph smith ex- Brigham young, John Taylor, etc.
Thank you for your comment and support! I have accomplished building the library I set out to build at this point, but have left the door open to put out new content if issues arise that need to be tackled and I haven’t previously covered the topic in some way. Thanks for your suggestion for an evidences video topic - I will keep it in mind if I put out some new content. I am still actively involved in the channel via answering questions as well as personal emails sent through the website latterdaysaintsqa.com, so the project continues but in a different way.
Thank you for all your hard work. Although my testimony was already firm before seeing these videos, it is now more fortified because of them. From reading these comments, I can tell that you have helped a lot of people. God bless you, brother.
Thanks for your content. I have been a member for about a year. I come from a strong Protestant background, so I have received some heat. But I know this is the Truth, and these videos always remind me of that. I was wondering, how do I find the transcripts to these videos?
Grateful you found the channel and that it has been helpful! You can find the transcripts on my website: latterdaysaintsqa.com under the section “Read the Blog”. I should be finished with all of the transcripts fairly soon.
Would love to see a video made about the office of the Presiding Patriarch in the Latter Day church. Interesting to know more about it's hereditary nature, dissolution, etc. Also the various "acting" vs presiding
How do I get to the place where you have a list of the all the subjects you have covered? I want to go back and listen to them all. You are amazing in your commitment to truth. Thank you over and over
Thank you! As far as a list of subjects - I don't have it organized like that, but if you go to the "playlists" tab, you will find the 2 main categories: "answers" and "evidences"
Thank you for your comment and support. My name is Jeff Roundy - I share that in the trailer video on the home page of the UA-cam channel, but don’t repeat it at the beginning of every video.
IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ROUNDY!! Hello Roundy! I have something very important I would like to share with you. I have spent over 10 years investigating, researching and putting a documentary together concerning the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. What I have discovered confirms everything that was revealed to the Prophet Joseph to be true much like you however much of what I have discovered is not even known by anyone in the church and is entirely based on my own research. Much of your material was used in our project. I won't go into detail on this but all I will say is Wow!! It is all so true and most of us members know it only by faith but now I have a complete picture of how great this work is and how God is going to do a great work through this church and its members. Not only did our own research help us but you channel was key to help us complete our project. Without it it is only half the missing puzzle. Your Latter Day Saints Channel videos fit like a glove to each of our DVD's. Your videos our used after watching each DVD as back up videos for any adittional questions people may have about the church. If the church could present what we have to the members it would prevent a lot of members from leaving the Church. I will do my best to explain what this project is. it would be impossible for me to fully explain to you what this project is until I can give you a copy of our workbook, which gives you a complete understanding of what the purpose is, along with instructions on how each video is to be viewed. I will just sum it up as an experiment and or a method of reasoning with individuals who have no belief in God or have lost their belief in god. The idea is to find out where someone is at with their beliefs in God, Jesus Christ and his church and then using the tools we provide in this project, you would reason with that person beginning at their level of understanding until they believe and understand once again. The purpose of this project is best explained in D&C 50: 11-12 and D&C 88: 118. We have gathered the best wisdom, information and hours of videos for each DVD from multiple different sources. We were able to extract the best info and wisdom on each topic from hours of study and hours of videos. We then added commentary and edited the videos for each DVD which each ended up being between 45 Min to 90 minutes. We have it set up like a two way conversation using reason and the logic of science backed up by scripture and a combination of powerful testimonials from people of every race, religion and background to validate God's eternal truths. Through out our docu series we tried to validate these truths using the collective witness model as much as possible as found in this video below. ua-cam.com/video/omi6rKpWfoQ/v-deo.html The idea is to lovingly reason with someone at their level of understanding and belief. Instead of just telling someone the truth using the Bible and Book of Mormon alone, you show them and confirm the truth from multiple sources starting where they are at and take them from one precept to another and one truth to another until they start believing. It is set up in to 9 phases of belief. Each Phase contains 2-3 DVD's We have outlined a series of questions to ask someone to determine which phase to start at. For example, you would start a person on Phase 1 after asking someone a series of questions and finding out that he or she is an atheist and doesn't believe in God or an afterlife. If someone believes in a God and afterlife but doesn't believe in Jesus Christ and the Bible you would start them on Phase 2. Since atheists don't believe in religion we use only the tools of science in Phase 1 to reason with them that God exists and that consciousness continues after death. Then in Phase 2 we even use the tools of science to show that Jesus is who said he was. Basically we went out of our way to make sure we use the same tools we used in the previous phase as a springboard into the next phase of truths. Not only that but we also use teaching from other religions to confirms these truths. This prevents people from accusing us of having confirmation bias or of using our own Bible to validate these truths. For example I spent some time in Laos. While I was their, I learned that Buddha had many prophecies of Jesus Christ 500 years before Jesus was born. This led me and my friend to do entire DVD included in Phase 2 on the Buddha prophecies of the Holy one. Here is just one sample video from DVD 5 where I edited the audio from Pastor Steve Cioccolanti and added music and background videos. ua-cam.com/video/kOfsmcvTJOk/v-deo.html. (Before you make assumptions about the videos on this channel, you must understand that they are out of context, not completely edited and may not be fully understood until they are watched with the commentary as part of the DVD's that they are attached to. We don't even bring the church up until phase 4 after we have established that the Bible is the word of God and that the truth is in Jesus Christ. Once we get to this point we use the Bible with charts and graphs to find out which church out of all the Christian churches is the most biblical and whose doctrines will bring someone closes Christ. The next 4 phases leads us to the 18 pillars of truth of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The idea is to go through each DVD and not move on to the next phase until they can accept the truths that are presented in that particular phase. Like a puzzle becomes more and more clear as you put it together, so do the truths become more clear as they are stacked one on top of the other. By the time they are done going through each phase, they will be left without doubt concerning the truths that are found in the Bible the Book of Mormon and in the doctrines found in the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Every other Atheist Arguement against the existence of God as well as any antimormon propaganda against this church will appear nothing more than smoke and mirrors, a sleight of hand or a flat earth theory to them. Anyway I hope that kind of gives you an idea of what our series is about. There is so much more That I need to explain to you for you to fully grasp and understand what this project is. I would like to send you a copy of all of my work and DVD's. It costs$100.00 to put together but I will send it to you for free If you are interested and want to know more, give me an address of where I can send it to or have someone meet me here in Utah at a restaurant or at my house I will give you our whole project for free. I don't care about any credit or recognition for this and If you want to have discussions about any of the topics that are presented in our project, you may feel free to do so. Thank you for reading and God Bless!!
I miss seeing more videos from here. Have views most of them several times. Would love to have a chance to express my gratitude. It had a role in inspiring my own channel. Thanks.
You're truly doing the Lord's work in bringing so many great evidences of the Restored Gospel out of obscurity. Thank you for the sacrifice of your personal time and resources you have made in putting these videos together. I have been and will be sharing many of these videos with family, friends, and ward members alike 😁
When you are on the main page of the channel, it is the 3rd tab from the left labeled 'Playlists' (the 1st tab you should see says 'Home' and the 2nd tab says 'Videos')
This is like my entire 3 years in studying the church in like 1 video and he has like 40 videos on these types of things… puts my studies to SHAME 😂😂 keep going brother!! We are all learning from you!
@@latterdaysaintsqa absolutely!! I have one request for a video one day if you could do a video explaining Isaiah 43:10 I’ve read it and heard a lot about the verse but I wanted to hear what your thoughts were on it and the church’s stance!! Thanks so much!
Here is a two helpful quick commentaries on that verse from FAIR: www.fairlatterdaysaints.org/answers/Question:_How_is_Mormon_belief_compatible_with_Isaiah%27s_statement_that_beside_the_Lord_%22there_is_no_God%3F%22 Here is a copy/paste of a key section: These scriptures in Isaiah clearly are meant to assert the supremacy, authority, and superiority of Yahweh over not only over false idols but over all else, including real gods. The passages in Isaiah cannot be called upon to disprove LDS beliefs in separate divine beings in the Godhead or theosis. The main point is to encourage Israel to stop worshiping other divine beings or idols but to worship Yahweh alone. Any other use of these passages distorts Isaiah's meaning and intent. Passages… that read "no God beside me" or a variation of that phrase are traditionally interpreted by mainstream anti-Mormons as meaning that other than Yahweh no form of deity exists at all, including exalted men. This type of interpretation at first seems obvious, but after considering similar passages in other parts of scripture it is clear that this interpretation is incorrect (many examples are then given) www.fairlatterdaysaints.org/answers/Question:_How_is_Isaiah_43:10_used_as_a_proof-text_by_critics_of_the_Mormon_doctrines_of_the_plurality_of_gods_and_the_deification_of_man%3F Here is a copy/paste of a key section: The context of this passage makes it clear that the issue being addressed is not one of general theology but rather a very specific and practical command to recognize YHWH as Israel's only god and the only god to be worshiped. In addition to misapplying this passage, critics also fail to recognize the growing body of evidence that shows that the Jewish religion was not strictly monotheistic until quite late in its development, certainly after the era in which Isaiah was written. When this evidence is considered, it appears that Judaism originally taught that though there are indeed other divine beings, some of whom are called gods, none of these are to be worshiped except for the God of gods who created all things and who revealed Himself to Moses. Also look to this article in BYU Scholars Archive by Stephen Smoot entitled “The Divine Council in the Hebrew Bible and the Book of Mormon” - look to page 2 under the subheading “Israelite Monotheism, Polytheism, and Monolatry“ for a reference to Isaiah 43: scholarsarchive.byu.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1211&context=studiaantiqua
Thank you for the support! I originally set out to build a specific library of content which I have finished. I continue to stay involved by answering questions/comments and emails each week.
Hi, i would love to hear your thoughts and opinion about Elder Featherstone's letter he put in the time capsule in the temple in Georgia in 1983, thanks
Chris Blythe just published an excellent piece in Interpreter, which is very helpful in addressing this topic. I would particularly put exclamation points behind the quotes from (then) Elder Hinckley & Elder Ballard. Here is a link to the research piece: interpreterfoundation.org/vaughn-j-featherstones-atlanta-temple-letter/?fbclid=IwAR1rM3eaYVdAGg05p1Flq_Id93fMPQ2WDckjnJp9pu4r-RchT7BfvD1p38o
Hey,First of all thank you. You have by far been the best source of knowledge for me. However whenever someone brings up one of these things. No matter how feeble it is I’m filled with doubt. For example something like different accounts of the first vison. Like I know this in reality change’s nothing and it very easily explained however it seems like others doubting naturally makes me doubt. I was wondering if you had any advice or scripture passages or conference talks that could help me. Weather it’s a change in heart or attitude. Anything. Ps I’m 14 so it could be lack of wisdom/ experience Thank you
Thank you for reaching out and glad the channel has been helpful to you in your studies. First off, I will suggest if you would like to dialogue directly with me privately, please feel free to email me through my website latterdaysaintsqa.com, using the contact me link. As far as your question, I would suggest several things. First off, I would focus you on what was to be the tangible witness of the restoration - that is the Book of Mormon. We are told we can receive revelation in our mind and our heart of truth. As I read the Book of Mormon daily, I feel it in my heart that what I am reading came from God, and then as I focus on my mind, I think of the sheer impossibility of how these words (and the books complexity) were produced by a rural farm boy, with a 3rd grade equivalent language, in 65 days without any notes. Please see these 2 videos I did on this topic if you haven’t already: Book of Mormon: Match It! ua-cam.com/video/pnkrQOEhuHA/v-deo.html Book of Mormon Author Theories Debunked ua-cam.com/video/pnkrQOEhuHA/v-deo.html I love how in our day of demanding evidence, we have this tangible witness that defies explanation, still requires faith, but for those that put forth the effort, and want to sincerely know, they will receive a witness (Mormon 10:3-5). It is also fun to see the coming forth of many additional evidences for the Book of Mormon. I share those in this video - Book of Mormon Evidences: ua-cam.com/video/A-Er7vanw6A/v-deo.html I share at the start of that video however, one of my favorite quotes from Neal A. Maxwell: “It is the author’s opinion that all the scriptures, including the Book of Mormon, will remain in the realm of faith. Science will not be able to prove or disprove holy writ. However, enough plausible evidence will come forth to prevent scoffers from having a field day, but not enough to remove the requirement of faith. Believers must be patient during such unfolding.” Plain and Precious Things, p4 For additional study - here are some resources that come to mind - Podcasts: To Whom Shall We Go & Latter-day Saint Perspectives Here is a link to the interview I had on To Whom Shall We Go: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/restoration-evidences-an-interview-w-jeff-roundy/id1541971068?i=1000505261188 Several other helpful video channels: Saints Unscripted, Faith Matters, Latter-day Presentations, LDS Truth Claims Here are also a few miscellaneous videos that I think you will enjoy: Seeking Truth Devotional featuring Jared Halverson: ua-cam.com/video/hY9_bN7EFOc/v-deo.html Understanding Latter-day Saint Doctrine & History - BYU Religious Education: ua-cam.com/video/_4U2OI00tCs/v-deo.html I will also suggest a handful of different books that you may find helpful in your studies - some focused on faith challenges, and others on restoration evidences (I would start with A Case for the Book of Mormon and Faith is Not Blind): Sampling book list: A Case for the Book of Mormon - Tad Callister Opening the Heavens: Accounts of Divine Manifestations, 1820-1844 - Jack Welch & others A Reason For Faith: Navigating LDS Doctrine & Church History - various authors Seekers Wanted - Anthony Sweat Worth The Wrestle - Sheri Dew Shaken Faith Syndrome - Michael Ash The Crucible of Doubt: Reflections on the Quest for Faith - Terryl & Fiona Givens Faith Is Not Blind - Bruce & Marie Hafen Restoring the Ancient Church - Barry Bickmore Light & Truth: A Latter-day Saint Guide to World Religions - Roger Keller Religions of the World: A Latter-day Saint Perspective - Spencer Palmer, Dong Choi, Roger Keller, James Toronto Investigating the Book of Mormon Witnesses - Richard Anderson Of Faith & Reason: 80 Evidences Supporting the Prophet Joseph Smith - Michael Ash From Darkness Unto Light: Joseph Smith’s Translation and Publication of the Book of Mormon - Michael MacKay & Gerrit Dirkmaat The God Who Weeps - Terry & Fiona Givens The Christ Who Heals - Terryl & Fiona GIvens The Savior in Kirtland - Karl Anderson Planted - Patrick Mason All Things Restored - Matthew Brown Into the Headwinds: Why Belief Has Always Been Hard - and Still Is by Terryl Givens Then you can also spend time studying specific topics more in-depth, if they are issues of concern. Underneath my video descriptions, I try to list a number of resources for additional study - this would be a great place to start. With regards to the First Vision, since you mentioned that as an example, that was one of my first videos and I may have not updated that resource list to include a helpful recent publication by Steven Harper, so be aware there may be additional updates you can find (and I need to find some time to go back and update those resource lists for publications that have come out subsequently). You can also find videos and podcasts of Steven Harper being interviewed when that recent book was published that you would find helpful (here is a great example of that: ua-cam.com/video/BFVP3ndkeag/v-deo.html ) Godspeed brother - and stay in touch if I can help
Thank you. The library of content I set out to build is complete, and I am spending a lot of time now (often an hour or two a day) responding to comments on YT, FB or directly from the contact me button on the website (latterdaysaintsqa.com). I may occasionally do a video in the future if a new criticism of the church arises that I haven’t done justice in covering with the existing library.
Thank you for the suggestion. If I make some additional videos, I could keep this as a possibility. I did like focusing on the broader church experience with this regard, with some of the videos I did such as “Miracles in Early Church History”: ua-cam.com/video/ls14MqGuPDQ/v-deo.html or “How Could They Have All Lied?”: ua-cam.com/video/Bz1PPNpwg3A/v-deo.html

Thank you for all the work you put into your videos. I loved every single one and have watched them multiple times and will continue to do so. I'm going to miss you!
Can you recommend a good book for someone who doesn’t like to read? My son is going on deployment and I’d like to get him a book that will inspire him to turn to God. (He has a rudimentary understanding of the gospel because he’s always rejected learning of any topic and needs to be easy to read.) Thank you!
Here are a handful of books that come to mind when I read your question. Maybe sift through them yourself and pray about what you might resonate the best with your son. If he doesn’t like reading, sometimes a story is easier to get into, so the book Converted might be one of the best options because they are 15 people telling their conversion stories. Thanks so much for all your efforts in making these videos! I can’t say that I’ve ever experienced a faith crisis. I have home taught and ministered to several families where the dads became antagonistic to the Church and I watched their lives come apart at the seams. They ended up losing everything they cared about, including their families, and it was heartbreaking to watch and from close proximity. I tried to help, but felt helpless as well. Since then I have spent countless hours going through resources like the Fair Mormon conferences, your UA-cam channel and loads of others resources to better understand the issues cause some people to struggle so that I can be ready to help. Being someone who likes to read books, your videos really speak to me. Your channel is a phenomenal resource and a simple thank you seems insufficient. You probably have 10 hours a week of just video editing, exporting, uploading to UA-cam and verifying that the video is working, on top of all the content. Thanks so much for the countless hours you have spent on this wonderful project!
Thank you so much for your very kind words! As you mentioned the time, yes, it was truly exhausting for almost 2 years while building the library; yet amidst the exhaustion, there was also amazing joy making the videos!
The library of topics I set out to build in the beginning is complete, but I am leaving the door open for additional videos if the need arises on a topic I haven’t already covered in some fashion. My learning has come out of a deep passion for learning and teaching over the last 30+ years. I taught in the MTC in the early 90s while attending BYU and have had many teaching callings over the years in the Church. I love to attend gospel conferences like FAIR or BYU Education Week every year, but my main learning comes from a deep love for reading books - I have 10 long bookshelves, each of which is 10 feet high, filled to the max with books on a wide variety of topics, heavily skewed towards gospel learning.
yes, you can email me directly by using the "contact me" button on the website related to this channel (where I keep all the transcripts to the videos). The web address is: latterdaysaintsqa.com
I'm troubled. Very disabled & have an 87 yr old dementia laden mother/stepfather. My family history had many mental illness episodes by different family members over 50 years. My family is most unloving, cold; we're all hypocrites & the criticism just destroyed every inch I earned building self esteem, humility (being teachable) & giving. Please refer me to a place I can turn to before I commit suicide. It feels like God let me down a lot. I need my heart touched instead of feeling jaded. TY
Sounds like you have been through a lot of tremendous difficulties! I would love to communicate with you individually - please contact me through my website latterdaysaintsqa.com, using the “contact me” link
I can't believe how quick people are to complain. I'm just so grateful you're doing all of this!!! Please know that for every complaint you receive there are at least a thousand people who've watched, learned & loved you for your incomparable research & tender, careful wording, etc. To say nothing of the top notch choice of quotes & reference material. The LGBTQ video was so well done. (But they all are)! I have a heart for those who struggle there but I know we should never sacrifice God's Truths in an effort to offer a false compassion. I thank our Father in heaven for you, your wife & your daughter. You've blessed my life greatly & I will be a regular on your channel & website. You're a great resource I'll happily be referring friends & family to you. Btw, I totally agree with your friend in that the length of videos is absolutely irrelevant! We're hungry for it ALL!!! BLess you! Thank you!!! 🙏💗😇
Thank you SO much for your very kind words! I was definitely surprised sometimes that people would criticize that I wasn’t producing the quality or approach of a production studio (saying partially in jest)! I do wish I had spent a little more focus on that but I was just enveloped and focused on pulling together all the content and sources. Thanks for the shoutout to my wife and daughter who really worked heavily behind the scenes! …and yes, I am glad I decided to let the videos go longer - I realized fairly early on that I couldn’t do justice to the topics trying to keep it so short. THANK YOU!
I have a deep doctrinal question here for you: The atonement of Jesus Christ is infinite and eternal. Does that imply that we will continue to need the blessing of the atonement (repentance) after we are resurrected? Does that mean we will be less than perfect in the celestial kingdom still until we are perfected through the course of the eternities? We believe that we will become perfect eventually, but no unclean thing can dwell in God's kingdom... And we know that won't happen in this life. So, how does that work?
There is much we don’t understand about eternal progression. Even leaders have disagreed rather strongly on progression that will happen after the final judgement - see the video I did entitled Doctrines, Opinions & Practices - Sorting It All Out. Here is the direct link: ua-cam.com/video/7ts5uiDE6pI/v-deo.html So anything that I would say would also add to this from a purely speculative position - in other words it hasn’t been clearly revealed how this will all work in the eternities, but we do know that the atonement is what provides all the possiblities. I do love the book by Tad Callister entitled The Infinite Atonement and would refer you to this work if you would like to deeply study the subject. It is helpful to read in detail his commentary and elaboration on all the ways that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is infinite. I will list here the titles of a number of the chapters to give you an idea of the topics: Chapter 8: The Infinite Nature of the Atonement Chapter 9: Infinite in Divineness of the Chosen One Chapter 10: Infinite in Power Chapter 11: Infinite in Time Chapter 12: Infinite in Coverage Chapter 13: Infinite in Depth Chapter 14: Infinite in Suffering Chapter 15: Infinite in Love
My name is Jeff Roundy. You can learn a little bit more about why I did this project by watching my trailer or intro videos or you can also visit my website latterdaysaintsqa.com
When I originally started the channel, I had a list of topics I wanted to cover. That library of content has now been built. I continue to stay involved on a daily basis by answering comments or emails sent through the website.
NNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!!!!! YOU MUST NOT STOP MAKING VIDEOS!!!!! These videos are one of the highlights of my gospel study! Please continue to make videos on additional topics! These are such a blessing and delight, I would be so sad to see your work stop!
Side note: I think your mic input is not properly selected, meaning that the audio source is not coming in from your external mic. I'm saying this because when your mic was moved right next to your mouth it sounded exactly the same as when it was on your desk.
Thank you for such a kind comment! The content I set out to build is totally complete now and I need some rest :) Might add some videos in the future if the need arises. Thanks again for your support!
@@latterdaysaintsqa I totally get your need to dramatically reduce your output frequency, can't keep the candle burning at both ends! I hope you will, rather than stopping entirely, move to a more sustainable publishing cadence.
Have you ever made a video on the changes, additions, omissions, mistakes, true authors, translation issues of the Bible? I was just watching.a video on this that popped up here on UA-cam and thought I'd ask you. If you haven't, it be an interesting episode
Yes I did, the video was entitled New Testament Issues That Can Challenge Faith. Here is a direct link to that video: ua-cam.com/video/9ENGUi6zje4/v-deo.html I also did a video addressing specific challenges related to the Old Testament, it was entitled Old Testament Issues That Unnecessarily Challenge Faith; here is a direct link to that video: ua-cam.com/video/_VPB0o40HTY/v-deo.html
I have a question about when the idea that everybody is going to hell who isn’t “saved” came about. When did they stop believing in the 3 glories of heaven and went to a cut and dry heaven and hell, and those who don’t hear about and accept Christ go to “hell.” Is this tied into the credo councils? I’m asking on this one b/c it’s the most recent.
Here is a detailed article published by the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy entitled “Heaven and Hell in Christian Thought”: plato.stanford.edu/entries/heaven-hell/#AugUndHel You can see from the material that the history of this is very complicated and multi-faceted.
Hi there; I have a very ernest question. It says in the beginning of the Book of Mormon( I think 🤔) that the church believes in the Bible so long as it’s translated correctly. Ok, as I said in a previous video I study the ancient Hebrew biblical language. As far as English Bible translations they do desire much, but not because their not being translated correctly in desire, but because with some words there is no English equivalent. So our English Bible’s are for the most part translated well. The only way it could be better, honestly, would be if everyone could read either the Hebrew, Aramaic, or Koine Greek! Which is not reasonable. So what exactly are they meaning, I guess for a better way of asking, what did Joseph Smith perhaps mean? Thank you Brother.
Its actually our 8th article of faith - here is a brief article from the Ensign sharing a thought on this: www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/new-era/2015/09/to-the-point/what-does-the-eighth-article-of-faith-mean-when-it-says-we-believe-the-bible-to-be-the-word-of-god-as-far-as-it-is-translated-correctly?lang=eng … and if you want to do a much deeper dive, here is a great article published by the BYU Maxwell Institute: Seely, David Rolph (2016) "“We Believe the Bible to Be the Word of God, as Far as It Is Translated Correctly”: Latter-day Saints and Historical Biblical Criticism," Studies in the Bible and Antiquity: Vol. 8 , Article 6. Available at: scholarsarchive.byu.edu/sba/vol8/iss1/6 Download the full issue (no cost) and then you will find Seely’s article from pages 64 - 88
Just realized your most recent post was 8 months back! Your enthusiasm is contagious! I hope you and your family are well through this crazy time. Hope to see more great content from you!
Thanks for your comment and kind words. The library of content I wanted to build is complete but I may periodically do a video if the need arises. Stay subscribed for that, but more importantly, to bookmark the library as a reference tool. I am still actively involved, spending several hours a day responding to comments, as well as direct emails now through the 'contact me' feature on the website (latterdaysaintsqa.com). Thanks for the support!
Thanks for asking the question as I don’t think I specified that very clearly in the video. I set up a Facebook page with the same name, Latter-day Saints’ Q&A, mainly for those that don’t use UA-cam. It has the same content as UA-cam and any new content I will publish in the future will be published in both places. I also have a website I set up providing transcripts for all the videos - it can be found at latterdaysaintsqa.com. The transcripts are under the section called “Read the Blog”
Thank you for all the hard work. I’m a bit sad topics like the three degrees of glory weren’t covered but I’m still very grateful for the tremendous amount of research you put into this series.
Thank you and I am glad you made the comment so I could clarify - I did cover that topic as part of the video entitled "Evidences: Part 2 - Restoring Original Christianity"
You’re very good Sir, watching your videos is like drinking out of a fire hydrant, my brain is on tilt I’m not sure if I will recover without chocolate, nevertheless I hope to rerun this video several times before the millennium! Happy Easter 2020
Thanks for you're comment! I know I pack a lot of info into the videos - trying to do justice to each topic but still keep the video to an attractive length for most viewers 😁
Thanks for the question. While that sounds like a fun project, it wouldn’t fit my objectives for this channel. If you watch the introduction video, or the more recently updated trailer video, I discuss the purpose and intent of the channel in detail. Thanks for watching the videos and sending in a question.
As always I really enjoy your teaching of explaining hard concepts or recent unearthed or hidden truths. So I’m coming to you with a very important question. As I believe I told you in another post I study of and on the Paleo Hebrew. Alright, in the Old Testament in Genesis God finished his work on the 6th day and rested on the seventh. The seventh day was blessed, sanctified and MADE Holy! Ok so there is sufficient evidence to support the seventh day is Saturday( sorry, but it is) so my question is this WHY didn’t our Beloved Joseph Smith maintain the Saturday/Sabbath? Now I’ve heard it said that the seventh day was sanctified and blessed and made holy in a physical application f the Spiritual. Jesus kept the sabbath every Saturday in fact it says he went into the Temple and preached, ok again there is a spiritual side to this our bodies are a “type of temple “ and we also have our physical temples. I guess what I’m saying is do you know of anything Joseph Smith taught or explained in reference to a proper way of keeping the Sabbath day HOLY and Right?
Here are a number of links that should prove helpful in addressing your question (there will be some overlap here but would rather give you too much than too little): www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/ensign/1978/01/i-have-a-question/why-do-we-observe-the-sabbath-on-sunday?lang=eng www.fairmormon.org/answers/Question:_Why_do_Mormons_follow_the_practice_of_most_Christians_by_resting_and_worshiping_on_Sunday%3F www.fairmormon.org/archive/publications/ask-the-apologist-celebrating-the-sabbath-on-saturday askgramps.org/sabbath-day-changed-sunday/
@@latterdaysaintsqa Hi Brother I studied the materials you gave and again thank you for that. It says in the scriptures given one reason for the Sabbatical day is to NOT follow the world’s ways. 2 things here; 1- Sunday does follow the worlds way of worshiping our creator. 2- If it wasn’t meant for us to continuously observe the Sabbath on Saturday then why is all the information that Israel has on this particular topic state it was in their historical beginning and today still is Saturday! And actually that differs with most of the world. I hope you understand I’m not trying to argue with you about this, but simply playing devils advocate with the information I have.
The Jews still observe the Sabbath as the original Saturday because they do not acknowledge Jesus as the Messiah. The Christian world, after the resurrection of Christ, changed their weekly day of worship to the day of Christ’s resurrection, calling it the “Lord’s Day” The description of the Lord’s Day in the Bible Dictionary is instructive: “Occurs in the Bible only in Rev 1:10. The first day of the week is meant, being the day of our Lord’s Resurrection and also the day on which the Holy Spirit came upon the Apostles. References to its weekly observance are found in Acts 20:7; 1 Col. 16:1-2; and in many early Christian writers. It was never confounded with the Sabbath, but carefully distinguished from it (Col. 2:16). The term is used also in D&C 59:9-13.” The reference to D&C 59 help illustrate the Lord’s desire for us in the latter days to continue to recognize our day of worship as this “Lord’s Day” or Sunday - the day of Christ’s resurrection.
When a person listens with their heart, the spirit compensates for any inadequacies! These videos are so amazing and I hope you know how much you are loved, and appreciated for the wonderful information that people receive through the spirit…..
Thank you for all that you do
Thank you greatly for such a kind comment!
The Lord led me to this channel during one of the hardest crisis of faith of my life. Your work was not in vain.
Just hearing a comment like yours makes all the work feel worth it - thank you for sharing!!!
Here, here. I've been struggling with faith since 2013. When I saw the video on restored temple rites I fell to the floor and wept. God is good, God lives, God loves us. God bless you Jeff.
I felt flooded with the Spirit when I read your comment - thank you so much for sharing your experience!
It is good to know that because of your work in the spirit, i can speak the gospel in faith and competence to those I love. Thank you friend, I have hope now and a space where I can use it for further education. THANK YOU, and may god bless you well in this.
Wonderful to hear - thank you!!
Thank you for your time and sacrifice to produce these podcasts.
Thank you!
No problem - thanks for sharing
Thanks for all your efforts, it strengthens me.
Thank you - glad to hear!
I can’t even find your name…
But your tremendous efforts to publish these videos amaze me. I’ve watched them repeatedly and am beyond grateful for the incredible amount of information you’ve distilled into reasonable length videos. Your influence has to have been huge.
Thank you. And God bless you.

Thank you so much for your very kind words! ….and my name is Jeff Roundy; I probably should have shared that more - I only said it during the trailer video, but not anywhere else.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I love your enthusiasm! 😊
Thank you!!
You’ve done the Lord’s work very well! I loved your videos very much, and I always feel the light of the Holy Spirit while watching them.
Thank you so much!!
Thank you so much for the extremely kind comment!!
Thank you!!
I'm glad that you had the inspiration to do this.

I'm humbled by your comment - thank you so much!
Total stud!! You’ve helped so many people get past some of these issues and other that for me we’re almost deal breakers, now for the most part they are at least palatable. Thanks so much.
I appreciate your comment a great deal - thank you!!
I love this channel bro. It has helped me more than words can say. The Church is True!

Thanks.
Love your comment - thank you!!

Thank you so much for this Video Library. It is soo awesome!
Thank you Trent!
Great compilations and enthusiasm thanks!

Thank you!
Hey, nice name, Mahonri Moriancumer! Do you have a brother named Jared?
Sir.
Again. Thank you for this most excellent resource! I’m grateful for it.
Thank you so much for sharing this comment - truly appreciate it!!
I'm obviously a few years late on this video, but it was lovely to meet you at the FAIR Conference today!

So sad this was the last video on your channel. I really loved your channel!
Thank you for your time. This content is so meaningfully done. Can’t wait for more!
Thank you!
Thank you for all your hard work. Although my testimony was already firm before seeing these videos, it is now more fortified because of them. From reading these comments, I can tell that you have helped a lot of people. God bless you, brother.
Thank you!
Grateful for your hard work to produce these! I’ve really enjoy them!
THANK YOU!!
You can find the transcripts on my website: latterdaysaintsqa.com
under the section “Read the Blog”. I should be finished with all of the transcripts fairly soon.
Latter-Day Saints’ Q&A Thank you
I am sub because you are a great person I love you chanle and I love god
Thank you!
Would love to see a video made about the office of the Presiding Patriarch in the Latter Day church. Interesting to know more about it's hereditary nature, dissolution, etc. Also the various "acting" vs presiding
Your amazing! Thank you so much for your efforts and everything you researched, may the Lord bless you for sharing your testimony and light of truth.
Thank you so much Ciro and I appreciate your efforts sharing the channel in Brazil!!
What is the name of your book that you recommended me to read about NDE.

Thank you for all your hard work! Your videos are very much appreciated.
Thank you
Thanks for these videos. Nice to have. I don't know your name however. Do you mind revealing it?
Thank you for your comment and support. My name is Jeff Roundy - I share that in the trailer video on the home page of the UA-cam channel, but don’t repeat it at the beginning of every video.
Thank you thank you for this channel!
Thank you so much!
Through out our docu series we tried to validate these truths using the collective witness model as much as possible as found in this video below. ua-cam.com/video/omi6rKpWfoQ/v-deo.html
The idea is to lovingly reason with someone at their level of understanding and belief.
It costs$100.00 to put together but I will send it to you for free
If you are interested and want to know more, give me an address of where I can send it to or have someone meet me here in Utah at a restaurant or at my house I will give you our whole project for free. I don't care about any credit or recognition for this and If you want to have discussions about any of the topics that are presented in our project, you may feel free to do so. Thank you for reading and God Bless!!
Sounds like quite the project! Feel free to reach out to me directly through my website latterdaysaintsqa.com under the "contact me" link

Thank you so so much for your kind words and for sharing the videos!!!
I have subscribed but how to I find your play list?
When you are on the main page of the channel, it is the 3rd tab from the left labeled 'Playlists' (the 1st tab you should see says 'Home' and the 2nd tab says 'Videos')
This is like my entire 3 years in studying the church in like 1 video and he has like 40 videos on these types of things… puts my studies to SHAME 😂😂 keep going brother!! We are all learning from you!
Thank you so much for your kind words and support!
@@latterdaysaintsqa absolutely!! I have one request for a video one day if you could do a video explaining Isaiah 43:10 I’ve read it and heard a lot about the verse but I wanted to hear what your thoughts were on it and the church’s stance!! Thanks so much!
Here is a two helpful quick commentaries on that verse from FAIR:
www.fairlatterdaysaints.org/answers/Question:_How_is_Mormon_belief_compatible_with_Isaiah%27s_statement_that_beside_the_Lord_%22there_is_no_God%3F%22
Here is a copy/paste of a key section:
These scriptures in Isaiah clearly are meant to assert the supremacy, authority, and superiority of Yahweh over not only over false idols but over all else, including real gods.
This type of interpretation at first seems obvious, but after considering similar passages in other parts of scripture it is clear that this interpretation is incorrect (many examples are then given)
www.fairlatterdaysaints.org/answers/Question:_How_is_Isaiah_43:10_used_as_a_proof-text_by_critics_of_the_Mormon_doctrines_of_the_plurality_of_gods_and_the_deification_of_man%3F
Here is a copy/paste of a key section:
The context of this passage makes it clear that the issue being addressed is not one of general theology but rather a very specific and practical command to recognize YHWH as Israel's only god and the only god to be worshiped.
Also look to this article in BYU Scholars Archive by Stephen Smoot entitled “The Divine Council in the Hebrew Bible and the Book of Mormon” - look to page 2 under the subheading “Israelite Monotheism, Polytheism, and Monolatry“ for a reference to Isaiah 43:

Can you come back and make more please!
Here is a link to the research piece:

Hey,First of all thank you. You have by far been the best source of knowledge for me. However whenever someone brings up one of these things. No matter how feeble it is I’m filled with doubt. For example something like different accounts of the first vison. Like I know this in reality change’s nothing and it very easily explained however it seems like others doubting naturally makes me doubt. I was wondering if you had any advice or scripture passages or conference talks that could help me. Weather it’s a change in heart or attitude. Anything.
Ps I’m 14 so it could be lack of wisdom/ experience
Thank you
Thank you for reaching out and glad the channel has been helpful to you in your studies. Please see these 2 videos I did on this topic if you haven’t already:
Book of Mormon: Match It!
ua-cam.com/video/pnkrQOEhuHA/v-deo.html
Book of Mormon Author Theories Debunked
ua-cam.com/video/pnkrQOEhuHA/v-deo.html
I love how in our day of demanding evidence, we have this tangible witness that defies explanation, still requires faith, but for those that put forth the effort, and want to sincerely know, they will receive a witness (Mormon 10:3-5).
It is also fun to see the coming forth of many additional evidences for the Book of Mormon. I share those in this video - Book of Mormon Evidences:
ua-cam.com/video/A-Er7vanw6A/v-deo.html
I share at the start of that video however, one of my favorite quotes from Neal A. Believers must be patient during such unfolding.”

I will also suggest a handful of different books that you may find helpful in your studies - some focused on faith challenges, and others on restoration evidences (I would start with A Case for the Book of Mormon and Faith is Not Blind):
Sampling book list:
A Case for the Book of Mormon - Tad Callister

Then you can also spend time studying specific topics more in-depth, if they are issues of concern. You can also find videos and podcasts of Steven Harper being interviewed when that recent book was published that you would find helpful (here is a great example of that: ua-cam.com/video/BFVP3ndkeag/v-deo.html )
Godspeed brother - and stay in touch if I can help
Your content is awesome, how come you have not posted a new video in 2 years?
Would u ever do a video on any miracles you have witnessed or spiritual experiences you have had?!?
Thank you for the suggestion. If I make some additional videos, I could keep this as a possibility. I did like focusing on the broader church experience with this regard, with some of the videos I did such as “Miracles in Early Church History”: ua-cam.com/video/ls14MqGuPDQ/v-deo.html
or “How Could They Have All Lied?”: ua-cam.com/video/Bz1PPNpwg3A/v-deo.html
Can you start making vids again? i feel like we need your channel more then ever during this pandemic.

Thank you for all the work you put into your videos. I loved every single one and have watched them multiple times and will continue to do so. I'm going to miss you!
Thank you so much!
A Case For The Book of Mormon by Tad Callister
Converted: True Mormon Conversions Stories from 15 Religions by Alonzo Gaskill
A Marvelous Word & A Wonder by LeGrand Richards
Faith Is Not Blind by Bruce & Marie Hafen
Are you done making videos? 😥
Where did you obtain your knowledge ?

TY

THANK YOU!
I have a deep doctrinal question here for you:
The atonement of Jesus Christ is infinite and eternal.
Here is the direct link:
ua-cam.com/video/7ts5uiDE6pI/v-deo.html
So anything that I would say would also add to this from a purely speculative position - in other words it hasn’t been clearly revealed how this will all work in the eternities, but we do know that the atonement is what provides all the possiblities.
I do love the book by Tad Callister entitled The Infinite Atonement and would refer you to this work if you would like to deeply study the subject. It is helpful to read in detail his commentary and elaboration on all the ways that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is infinite. I will list here the titles of a number of the chapters to give you an idea of the topics:
Chapter 8: The Infinite Nature of the Atonement
Chapter 9: Infinite in Divineness of the Chosen One
Chapter 10: Infinite in Power
Chapter 11: Infinite in Time
Chapter 12: Infinite in Coverage
Chapter 13: Infinite in Depth
Chapter 14: Infinite in Suffering
Chapter 15: Infinite in Love

Why have you stopped making videos

@@latterdaysaintsqa Awesome thanks. Keep up the great work!!
Here is a detailed article published by the Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy entitled “Heaven and Hell in Christian Thought”:

You can see from the material that the history of this is very complicated and multi-faceted.

Its actually our 8th article of faith - here is a brief article from the Ensign sharing a thought on this:

… and if you want to do a much deeper dive, here is a great article published by the BYU Maxwell Institute:
Seely, David Rolph (2016) "“We Believe the Bible to Be the Word of God, as Far as It Is Translated Correctly”: Latter-day Saints and Historical Biblical Criticism," Studies in the Bible and Antiquity: Vol. 8 , Article 6.

Download the full issue (no cost) and then you will find Seely’s article from pages 64 - 88
You say you can be followed on Facebook going forward. How? What name do you use on Facebook?
If possible, could you do an analysis on the most recent general conference?
Here are a number of links that should prove helpful in addressing your question (there will be some overlap here but would rather give you too much than too little):

@@latterdaysaintsqa Thank you.
The Christian world, after the resurrection of Christ, changed their weekly day of worship to the day of Christ’s resurrection, calling it the “Lord’s Day”
The description of the Lord’s Day in the Bible Dictionary is instructive:
“Occurs in the Bible only in Rev 1:10. 2:16). The term is used also in D&C 59:9-13.”
The reference to D&C 59 help illustrate the Lord’s desire for us in the latter days to continue to recognize our day of worship as this “Lord’s Day” or Sunday - the day of Christ’s resurrection.
@@latterdaysaintsqa well put thanks for giving more clarity to the question.
