Ive got harbor freight sockets and wrenches i bought used off a mechanic for dirt cheap, never had an issue. One got bent because I was being an idiot and harbor freight swapped it no questions asked.
Cute kids. Let me tell you something about kids. It seems like just a few months ago that my 3-year-old daughter took the van out of park and it rolled into the neighbor's fence. Then, BOOM! Now, she's 50 years old, and I have great-grandkids! It happened in a flash! Enjoy them and protect them. Good times!
I have those magnetic tool holders all over my garage/shop and house, even in my camper for my knives. I recently grabbed the zip tie gun,use it all the time now.
Great job with pointing out HF tools and supplies. They are not as generous with their coupons as they once were, but they still do a big service to the diy crowd. Hats off on another good video.
For those of us with DeWalt 20V tools. . . the Bauer 20V tools work just fine with DeWalt batteries. It just requires a minor modification to the tool, which is to snip off two plastic tabs where the battery slides in.
I use the magnetic tool holder in almost every drawer of my toolboxes. All you have to do is lay them in the drawer and the weight of the tools holds them down. I use it for screwdrivers, wrenches, ratchets, extensions, pliers and anything else that'll stick. ;-)
For some odd reason, Harbor Freight carries a blood pressure cuff for about 15 bucks! Anything similar at a pharmacy starts around $30. They work just fine, and like everything else, if it stops working, they will replace it. Not a tool, exactly, but real handy to have
I have a lot of harbor freight tools. I used they're impact sockets, and Hercules 1/2 inch ultra torque impact wrench everyday for six months before I changed jobs. Excellent tools i would buy them again
I love Harbor Freight for consumables and I have a bunch of those magnetic tool holders all over my shop they are hands down the best. I always pick one or two up when they go on sale. I really like that cable tie gun I am going to look for that next time I go. Thanks
I have been pleasantly pleased with some things I got from Harbor Freight. Two that quickly come to mind are both corded tools. One is a variable speed multi-tool and the other is an angle grinder. For occasional use, both are available in entry level offerings at less than $20!
Hello my name is ian, just wanted to say great video! I just recently purchased the bauer leaf blower and absolutely love it! Was putting it to use today on my yard lol! Anyway great video God bless! 🙌
So harbor freight stepped up there game I feel. Hercules is definitely a competitor to some big names. Recently I watched a review of Hercules 12” compound miter vs Dewalts. And well for the price it may be actually worth it. Yes some things are good and others I are one time use. Just depends on your preference!
I can't speak to how Harbor Freight used to be but I buy from there and as long as you stay towards the better and best lines, meaning Bauer and or Hercules lines then I think you will be fine. There is a bunch of other stuff there that they have that is just fine too, not just power tools.
Lots of good recommendations in this video. Permit me one quibble. Instead of the 500lbs lift cart, get the 1,000lbs version. Not only does it lift more weight, it lifts higher, and the handle folds down for storage. Mine lifts high enough to serve as an outfeed table for my table saw or as an extension of my work bench. It also lifts to the height of my pickup truck's bed, which makes it almost as good as a lift gate. (Pickup truck bed heights vary, so YMMV.) For just a few dollars more, I consider the 1,000lbs lift cart to be a better value than its little brother.
Hey I’m looking to get the combo deal with xtools p2s and the f1 ultra would you recommend this and how deep can you engrave let’s say a dog tag to make your design stand out
I would absolutely recommend that deal. The F1 Ultra can deep engrave dog tags as deep as you need and can even cut small metal sheets. It’s got a 20W IR laser so it’s super powerful. Here’s the combo: (www.xtool.com/products/ultimate-productive-business-duo?ref=clSNUlHMSPHtmu&variant=45988256612591)
If been using HF tools for a very long time Almost all of my cordless tools are the Bauer Brand, and none have failed me, I have the Leaf blower, and I use it on high speed and use the bigger battery and get almost 30 min out of it.
Your Makita leaf blower sounds like it has a capacitor issue. The 3 min wait time before being able to start the motor would be the capacitor charging slower than it should until it can dump all of its energy on starting the motor.
I like Harbor Freight, but got news from you sonny, I choose my own tools, and I do not have any of those, nor do I need any of them. I know what I need, and what I want in the way of tools, and do not listen to anyone telling me what I need. Been around woodworking since I was about 7, and am 83 now.
#Markis, why don’t you have links to all the products in your video, especially the cart that raises and lowers. I couldn’t understand the name you called it. Can you give me a link?
His reasoning makes sense though - if there's a tool you need once or rarely, buy the cheap version. If you need it reliable and need it all the time, then spring for the higher quality.
Well, instead of using your leaf blower, and finances allow, you should check out their OSHA compliant dust extractor. For the price, it seems to be getting good reviews.
I wish I had seen this years ago. I didn’t know you could buy a “son” at Harbor Freight. I went through the whole marriage and sex hoping I got the son first! 🙇🏻
Harbor Freight is NOT cheap... you thnk you saving now... then you spend twice or three times that much wasting time going to search for legitimate tools at HD or Lowes or online. ESPECIALLY THE BAUER BULLSHIT. I literally got a Bauer wratchet that I used ONCE and it died. Not even heavy duty bolt.
The tool shown in the thumbnail for this video would be banned in the nanny-state of Australia, simply because it looks like a pew-pew. How pathetic is that!?

Agreed. And if you do have issues you can freely take them back!
Same here lol
They work fine for anyone but for most pros.

I regret the electric pressure washer, but soaking it was 100% on me.
I love that you're such a family man. Teach those kids how much fun and satisfying it is to work with your hands and mind.
The best way to live!

Very cool, I need to grab more!
Use those magnetic straps are great
I love seeing the kiddos in there. Cute as heck and it's so much fun. My little ones are now quite large men lol
Love Harbor Freight for learning what is useful and not. People say "Buy once, cry once" nah "Buy cheap, replace expensive" but only if it makes sense
Absolutely 🙌🏼
Great job with pointing out HF tools and supplies. They are not as generous with their coupons as they once were, but they still do a big service to the diy crowd. Hats off on another good video.

Good luck getting to 50K! Really enjoy your channel!

Sounds like the topic of your next video. @@TheReformationWoodshop
I bought one of those hydraulic dollies, and I absolutely love it. I use it to move heavy things out of my van and upon my bench.
I like a lot of HF items, but your leaf blower segment made me want to recommend the small Bauer blower. It is very handy around the wood shop.
I’ll have to take a look! I’ve been wanting to get a small blower from Makita for that specific reason. Just a little when I can use for cleanup.👍🏻
@@TheReformationWoodshop I also use a Ryobi Inflator in the woodshop. About the size of a drill and can blow chips and dust off tables and projects.
I have the rotory tool by Bauer. I use mine daily making wooden rings. It’s awesome.
Good to know!
Very nice video thank you for the tips

Zip tie gun section was the best. Your son is a riot.

I had no idea there was such a thing as a zip tie gun. Yet somehow, now I know I need one!

I can vouch for the leaf blower. Bought the 12 amp/hour battery for it. I have yet to run it down in a single session.
I didn’t know there was such a thing as a zip tie again. I’m gonna go to HarborFreight tomorrow and get one. I got a 15% off coupon.

Fine fine ill sub
Does that table cart go high enough to use as a tablesaw outfeed/infeed table?
I don’t believe so. The maximum lifting height is 27 1/2 inches and most table saws are around 34”.
@@TheReformationWoodshop I guess that would be a bit expensive for an outfeed but it would be clever.
Looking to get a electric leaf blower just wonder how much less vibrations it is and noise level
You might want to check out the Hercules dust extractor.
It is absolutely gonna be mine! 😈
Great video! Do you have any HF cordless tools you would recommend for new woodworker? Thxs!!
I don’t have many of their battery powered tools but I know they’ve greatly improved in the last few years. They definitely deserve a look!
