Ok, this is the first time I'm seeing this channel, and I absolutely love how funny and sarcastic you are, especially with your son, Jason, I just laughed so much, I think it's great that you helped this mom, she really needed it. You're awesome.
I have depression and I locked myself in my house for months until I got told I needed to clean it before they condemned it. By watching your videos it helped guide me and made me want to clean more by the before and after pictures that’s what I love about this. So satisfying! ❤
He is so inspiring. We love the before and after's too. Like a shot in the arm with super vitamins. Love his techniques, no other ones have worked so fast for us before (our speed tho, little here and there, alot sometimes, but always at least one thing a day). Must be slapping the dust off and spin kicking the piles that are so effective. 👍 🙏 ❤
I was not taught how to actually clean by my parents. I was told to go clean whatever part of the house. I don’t think I ever realized that cleaning the toilet involved cleaning the seat and lid as well as the bowl. In my 20’s I had a job as a nanny. The first day my employer took me through each room and showed me her expectation of clean. There were so many things that were eye opening to me that day! I watch these videos and get a little motivation to tackle part of the overwhelming mess of my life. I struggle with depression as well. I’ve learned to do something every day. It’s the only way I can function. Sometimes it’s just simply collecting the junk on a horizontal surface and wiping it down with a quick spray of cleaner. I am getting better at discarding stuff that is essentially useless. I’m not living in hoarding territory but I sometimes visit. 😉
Even more that this suddenly appeared on my feeds when I need advice for my mother's home and hoarding disorders; I looked around my own apartment that I moved out of her home into and realize weekly cleaning is a habit you have to develop and when done say to yourself you did well and it is lovely to have a safe place to live. Like the other poster says, it is hard to remain mindful in a store or a thrift that the pretty item needs a true place and a true use before you buy it. I try the if something comes in, something that is out of sight and unused should go out of the house thoughts, too. And if that's hard to part with an item I tell myself someone else will enjoy an item even more than I do.

I broke down & bought some, it's expensive but it literally slaps the dirt clean off! Jason McFilth's dad prefers not to accept sponsorships because of the conditions that would be imposed - understandable. Seriously, I would have never splurged on this stuff if I hadn't seen it in action on this channel. I like that you can purchase a refill (still expensive, but less) and continue to use the good quality sprayer.
I like to sit with my morning coffee and watch your videos. It kind of sets me up for the day and makes my thinking less "cluttered". It gives great satisfaction watching the before and after photos. Keep up the good work guys.
This reminds me, once again, how fortunate I was when my child was growing up. My husband was/is a great dad, and my parents and his were always available to help us. I can't imagine working long hours in addition to raising a family all alone. Prayers for her.
I absolutely love how non-judgmental you are - how much you care, and the incredible difference you are making in peoples lives! You give them a fresh start, and a complete understanding that they are valued, that they matter, and you give them that lift in life! THANK YOU!!
I have a “rolly chef thing” that I put together myself. 48 pieces not counting screws and bolts. I was very proud of myself. Then I posed and flexed too and spin-kicked it to the wall.
I had a rolly chef thing that I bought off craigslist and the cabinet body was crap but the top was solid granite so thank God I could spinkick it up my apartment stairs 🙌 we left it there when we moved out
@Craftyfysh I agreed, I hope no one is in this position. Being a widow, along with grief, can cause exhaustion and a lot of challenges that people don’t see.

That pound to dollar joke made me really happy! :D Worked 12h shifts myself for about 8 years, its exhausting, so I can easily understand this lady. You did great job!
As someone who already loves cleaning, I love your videos and your sense of humour and interactions with Jason. Always makes my day when a new video appears. Hello from Scotland 🏴
Such a difference in a woman's life! It can be sooooo depressing to come home feeling exhausted, looking around at the mess, and wanting to go to bed and pull the covers up over your head! Overwhelming! A spark of light you brought to this family. God bless, dude!
I know she appreciated this so much! My mother became a widow at age 21 with me, 21 months old, & my brother who was only 5 weeks old. She had a lot of help from our grandparents & her siblings, but I still can’t imagine how hard it was for her.
When did you realize that you had this calling of helping people? It’s so mentally and emotionally uplifting for me to watch you work. You are simply amazing.
Jason is hysterical! I think that since he realized you WILL be getting your 100,000 UA-cam plaque SOON, he figured he might as well jump on the band wagon & be a part of it! Love the commentary!! Before & after shots were great!
I love your sense of humor and the way you talk about your son. Obviously he knows he's really loved or you wouldn't put that out there that way. I'm really glad you helped this mother out. I'm sure she's doing the best she can (and is obviously a hard worker!) with what life has given her.
Awesome, that your trashy son was joining too. You two slapped that dirt right into the next month. I was entertained by your manly sweeping and scrubbing 😊
This is one of my favourites so far. The fingers really made me laugh, especially when your son got you back as you were cleaning the steps. I can relate to this house.
My son and I work together cleaning rent houses before new renters moved in. We did a deep clean and some painting whatever needed done. It was so fun I loved working with him
I get it. I work 12 hr shifts and there’s not much left to give after that. I see that she has children, maybe she can get them to do some chores in the hopes that it can stay clean after you’re gone. Children can help, they just need direction & to know your expectations. Those life lessons they take with them. We are their teachers and prepare them for adulthood. Make no mistake we are not their friends. That will come later in life. Great video. Great job! 🙌🏻✨💕
Ya know what would be cool? Is to have a FB section where fans could post the befoe and afters as the work you do on freebie houses inspires people you never met to take on and conquer their own challenges. There'd be an understanding that small squares and re-conquers count just as much (and sometimes more) than the boldest bad messes.
My cat just died I have ocd and autism and I’m on a depressing alcohol drug fueled bender and your videos help me a lot. I clean as my default action and your videos help remind me that I just need to get up and keep doing this shit.

Yep, I laughed out loud… literally.. while watching your interactions with your son lol 😂 what a good son for helping and wanting to work with his dad ❤
Oh my gosh, you and your son are just adorable! So much fun with you two.. I love your videos and am excited to see new ones. Thank you for all you do!
You are hilarious! I love watching you clean and love your videos. You crack me up when you give your son or any object the finger 🤣🤣🤣. I look forward to the next video. I live in the Midwest and wonder where you are. Sometimes I think you need to come clean my house but it’s very clean compared to the houses in your videos plus I would never let you clean without paying you. God bless you for helping that mother out!
I LOVE how you explain cleaning the floors multiple times because you track things from room to room....I usually mop twice too if my floors are super dirty....most cleaners I watch on really dirty homes only seem to clean the floor once.
I’ve only just discovered your channel a short time ago and I love your sarcasm!! Some people might not get it and I’m sure that’s gonna generate some negative comments but whatever. The relationship between you and your son is so endearing, keep doing what you’re doing! I love that you’re upfront about your autism diagnosis also. Keep doing what you do!

My mother was so wrong when I was growing up. She told everybody that I liked to clean because I am a Virgo. This is for all the people like my mother who likened Virgos to clean freaks. I hate cleaning! But, I do like a clean and organized home. I just don't want to be the one to do it. Your videos are so satisfying. They are even beginning to inspire me to do better. Carry on...
I’m late but I just want to say thank you for helping this woman. I know from recently having lost very close relatives and still working two jobs, cleaning is not a priority . I am blessed to be able to afford a housekeeper and I literally cry tears of relief every time I come home after she cleans
Another funny video in the record books! My favorite part was when Jason decided to knock over your bottle of cleaning solution. 😂Keep up the good work guys!
i moved into my first apartment at age 19 in 1989. After cooking my first thanksgivng dinner solo, and having to clean the old-school oven, i never once since even warmed up a slice of pizza without putting it on a sheet lined with foil. my stove tops and oven insides are sparkly and a can of oven cleaner will last 2-plus years because i never cook anything without pre emptive aluminum first. and…butcher block and/or kitchen island is term you were searching for? Your videos are amazing
I hope we see a lot more videos with you and your son. I love how you mess with each other lol. You make a great team. You have a subtle yet soothing story telling voice. Great work boys!
I just started the video, but you grading your son is SENDING ME! 😂😂😂 I love that y’all can be playful and know it’s all in jest. I can feel the love. ❤ And, what a sweet boy you’ve got who wanted to come and help! I wish I could give you both big hugs!
Thank you for what you do for other People. It's heart warming that there are People like you. I really mean this. Your very giving and you understand the need that's out there. Thank you I love your humor and your commentary. 🤣
Me over here wanting to make new cushions for those beautiful dining room chairs! As always, I just love the banter between you and Jason, don't ever change!
This was a very sweet gesture, I'm so glad to see you and your son helping this lady and her family. It was fun finding the flying fingers. I'm glad you got the BKF and I hope they give you a sponsorship. Sometimes they send free stuff to people who mention their product.
The "pound to dollars conversion" .... OMG, I am dyin' over here. Between knocking things over like a cat and doing the dishes in double-time, Jason is pretty busy!
Love the relationship between you and Jason…you are teaching him so much and the way you are doing it is something he will remember and be thankful for forever…
You guys are a hoot. Great team and comic duo. The place sparkles! Caution: When using alcohol solution, be sure to avoid much of the quality woodwork cuz it can damage the finish! I know. I've done it.

Oh man another Saturday night episode of Midwest Dirt Slapping!!! Great cleaning for a lady I'm sure that well deserves it. My condolences to her and her family about their loss. Seeing the photos really hit me in the feels on this one. I'm not sure how long ago their loss happened but I just want to mention the importance of mental health to this family. If they still feel like they need to talk about their loss there are many great therapists that can help in person or via zoom like services. And as for a free option Emotions Anonymous is great support group to help with grief. They have meetings in-person, phone conferences, zoom meetings all free of charge. I have used them for my depression and highly recommend them for anyone in need. Dirt can suck it, but grief can suck it even more!
Thanks for the laughs. I appreciate how easy/doable you make cleaning seem for someone who also gets overwhelmed by it. Love your videos, humor, and the commentary on your son 😆
Glad to hear your option on the spin mop. Freind gave me one and I just find it messy compared to hand mopping. Maybe after my kids move out & weird little things aren’t on edges or corners it’ll be more useful...?

Liking the video before I even watch it... cause I know how much work these videos take. And I enjoy them so much. Thank you for what you do!
I hit the like button before watching because I knew it would be good. Funniest video yet!
Loved that he caught you and got you back! Thank you for the laughter 😄
Carry on...
Hmm, yes, your mother was wrong, I too am a Virgo but don't like to clean.
I am a Libra and I love to clean.
I feel like I relate to you so much. ^^^^LEAST Virgo -like Virgo ever.
Your videos are amazing
two words: oven liners. I discovered them a few years ago. kind of like pans for the bottom of the oven.
Thank you for showing me how to clean the oven, Wow! amazing and I can never do that. You are good! God bless.
Thanks so much for clarifying the weight for us brits! You got it spot on 👌 as usual fab job on the clean and the commentary even better 👏👏
I hope we see a lot more videos with you and your son. I love how you mess with each other lol. You make a great team. You have a subtle yet soothing story telling voice. Great work boys!
I work with my sister. If a day goes by without birds flying between us, our coworkers know we aren't feeling well. Love it!
I love your sense of humour and the relationship with Jason. Great help and job for this mom good for you guys.
What a kind gift for this lady. I'm sure she loved your work!
What a difference you must have made for this family! Amazing!
I just started the video, but you grading your son is SENDING ME! 😂😂😂 I love that y’all can be playful and know it’s all in jest. I can feel the love. ❤ And, what a sweet boy you’ve got who wanted to come and help! I wish I could give you both big hugs!
Yesss, my favorite cleaner!!! Wishing you an amazing 2023!!

Also Jason is my favorite of your kids, at least so far 😂
Me over here wanting to make new cushions for those beautiful dining room chairs!
As always, I just love the banter between you and Jason, don't ever change!
This was a very sweet gesture, I'm so glad to see you and your son helping this lady and her family. It was fun finding the flying fingers. I'm glad you got the BKF and I hope they give you a sponsorship. Sometimes they send free stuff to people who mention their product.
How lovely for the lady to be able to come home and for it all to be done 🥰 well done that man xx
The "pound to dollars conversion" .... OMG, I am dyin' over here. Between knocking things over like a cat and doing the dishes in double-time, Jason is pretty busy!
Thank you very much for sharing the cleaning products you use. I love the fact you love what you do. Encouraged.
Hello from Tokyo! Love your videos and you complete my weekend. As a banker here, my question was what’s in Yen 🤣🤣🤣
Hi, I hope the new people watching have a sense of humour 💯 or You could get a lot of complaints....Lol 🤣 Your fatherly love is shining brightly...Lol. 🤣 Great job you 2. You's do work well together. Cant wait to see whats next..Stay Safe watching from Tasmania ❤🙏👍🤗❤🙏👍🤗
You’re amazing to do this for free, for this lady. She will bless you for ever ❤
I found you and subscribed yesterday. Such a pleasure to watch❤
I just loooove your relationship with Jason 😂 One of the best and funniest father-son-relationships in the world ♥
Thanks for the laughs. I appreciate how easy/doable you make cleaning seem for someone who also gets overwhelmed by it. Love your videos, humor, and the commentary on your son 😆
I’m so playing this video on the kitchen counter during breakfast just for the”men sweep” comment. My boys need to hear that.
Glad to hear your option on the spin mop. Freind gave me one and I just find it messy compared to hand mopping. Maybe after my kids move out & weird little things aren’t on edges or corners it’ll be more useful...?
I definitely needed all these laughs today 👏👏👏 Thank you to you and Jason for helping her out!
Everytime I watch your videos, I am amazed at the speed you are doing this!
You guys are the best! God Bless you both!!
