Another great lesson and such a key point. Don’t overswing, once you’ve finished the body/shoulder then the backswing has ended. Pause, then downswing. Love it!
So as a beginner sorry if i sound dumb. Since i struggle with driver meaning once the swings done just rotate through and keep hands and arms passive? I tend to tense up right at impact and I think cuz im using my arms too much gonna try to keep soft arms and rotate thru if thats what im supposed to be doing. Thnx my fav legit golf channel on UA-cam
@@nigelfsu imagine your chest points at your hands, always think connection between arms and body. Set wrists just after the takeaway and pause at the top of your swing. The follow through is like a horse race, hands and body need to end the race at the same point, impact. Hey guys, you helped my game a lot and it’s alls for free…thank you so much ❣️ could you do a lesson on dipping the head in the backswing and the consequences for the downswing? What drill would u use to stop dipping in the backswing? Cheers Andreas
“Club above golf ball”……..is this keeping the club head “outside” during take-away or something else? Thanks so much! Love anything you teach with the driver, which is the most challenging club for so many of us.
It's like your inside my head! Are these thoughts and concepts applicable to irons as well? More so that thought of when shoulders are done moving hands are also done?
Any tips to stop that extra run off with the hands at the top of the backswing? I try not to but have found my wrists getting way too involved in the backswing lately. It leads my club head to “drop” and totally screws up my connection through the swing.
Jack74 you know I watch every video that you post. I now have a question. I’m hitting my irons better than ever but now having a problem of popping up my driver? Help?
AWESOME video and explanation. You have amazing instructional videos. Question? I totally get the "Stay Connected" during the back swing concept, even incorporated the tuck your right shirt under the pit advice on some of your other videos. Has changed my game for sure. No more left shots, BUT when they don't go straight, they flare out to the right. They start right of target and go further right. More noticeable with longer clubs. Especially 4iron and 3-wood but not the driver or shorter clubs. Any possible reason why that is? Again, most of the time the ball flight is on target or close to it, but when they're not, it's always to the right and going further right. Thanks
@@samnewman6270 I’m no pro so it’s hard for me to be 100% correct. Could be a number of things, your best bet is to get yourself a lesson with your local PGA Pro.
@@Keyevns89I’ve similar problem with long irons so I don’t play them anymore. My suspicion is the longer irons lagged behind thus contacting with open face. Short irons and wedges close quicker plus lie angle steeper promoting a closed face. It’s very common for amateur golfers to hit shorter clubs left but longer clubs right. Drivers usually has a slight draw bias plus ball tees left of body giving more time to square the club.try setting longer irons with light upright lie might help.

Daaaaaannngggg! Her swing is so smooth!!!
this guys really really good at what he does. a true "pro" at what he does.
Ash got such a NICEEEEE swing! Bravo!

Absolutely!

Sheesh, such a powerful swing. Great lesson

Sending that driver. All sweet drives from where am seated.
💣😎
Wow. She can send it. Wish I could do that. Wow.

She certainly has a cracker of a swing, she absolutely sends it.
Such a great swing. Hitting bombs 💣
She stripes it !
Wonder what shaft flex she plays? That’s a great swing

Are we hinging against the left palm with the woods and driver down the toe line too?

Probably not enough rotation!
@@Keyevns89 thank you. Can you clarify if not enough rotation with the backswing or during downswing?

Awesome 👏🏽 🙏🏽👍🏽
I fight with sliding forward, one would think it would be easy to rotate around the center of your body but it can be challenge. At least for me.
Rotation is out of this world... phew. She's able to make the clubhead point to the target twice.
What's her average distance with that driver, Adam?
Is she using a different type of grip with her hands in that they are more connected?
she’s using the same grip, she just has small hands!
When you say just turn at the top of the swing witch parts are you
Turning first
For most of our players, the turn is initiated with the lead shoulder.

Wow she can hit that. But what’s with her grip? Her thumbs are almost at the same place??

Did that go thru the 2nd fairway?😂
Boy I wish I had this much flexibility again
what a bomber
What i would do for that kind of flexibility. Amazing to watch

She sort of has an interesting right toe .... really similar to Justin Thomas.
She’s awesome
