In this video, Adam goes over the worst misconception with the driver set up. A lot of people confuse the hip bump in the iron set up and the driver set up but in reality, they are the same. It is still a one inch hip bump but the only difference is the appearance. When it comes to driver, the angle of tilt looks more exaggerated in comparison to the iron set up.

Like this Comment if you think Mark did a great job! 🙌🏽🙌🏽
@porzakgolf I’d love to come see you. Where can you book an in person lesson???
I know you have seen a lot of comments on this, but seeing someone like Mark (high handicapper) ask the questions a lot of your viewers would ask is great. I love seeing video's of your good players you have been coaching for a while, but they know so much they don't ask the questions to the missing pieaces becuase they already know. you guys are awesome, love your content.
Great questions Mark!!
Mark is awesome. The end driver swing was nice!
Some great simple questions that all us weekend golfers wanted to ask and fantastic answers with spot on demonstrations by Adam.
I will say that little tip is the greatest thing I’ve seen on a driver swing. Hitting a wall on the lead is a thing of beauty. Tried it today and hit 8/14 fairways with clean contact. I was the one that did the hip but then lowered the shoulder, didn’t have to do that at all and much better contact
Nice to see the master stripe it too!
Dude you have to be the BEST golf coach in the planet??? Hands down, the most down to earth teacher/coach that makes the golf swing and setup soooo much easier and understandable! Thank you!!
Great lesson every thing I needed many thanks.
Porzak golf has changed my game . At 74 just following your lessons have made a huge difference. The lessons with Mark has clarified so many questions that I had . Good job guys 🎉🎉🎉
So well explained thank you 👍
This is your best driver video yet! Love this and I’m archiving it to rewatch when the driver starts giving me issues. Thank you!
Hey Eric. I’ve been watching your videos for sometime and cannot express my gratitude enough. These videos with Mark have been probably the most informative to this point. Please keep doing what you’re doing.
Honestly the best instruction on UA-cam. Simple, effective movements and very well elaborated. Thank you!
So good Adam!
Nice to see you working with an average amateur golfer. He had great questions and of course you answered all the concerns. Thank you.
Great Teacher Thanks a loT!!
I could have sworn there was a video where Adam recommended hip bump plus slight torso lean with the driver, but this makes much more sense to me
I was looking for it too, i think he removed it
I introduced the lateral shift towards the target to enable me to hit down on the ball. Now I’ve created a nasty hook!! This lesson was the perfect lesson for me to see. Thank you. 🙏
Have been using the hip bump recently to some success. Seeing your explanation is great but having trouble with the backward tilt keeping the hip straight as it does feel like I'm opening up too much. But practicing in the mirror and hopefully get it right. Thanks for the videos
Excellent video covering a lot of the "why"s and "how"s. Your student had a lot of the same questions I hear from less skilled golfers that had their focus on the wrong things, or had developed faulty concepts around misconceptions. This video should help dispel some myths and misunderstood concepts out there.
My go to video for driver help. Thank you Adam!!
Great to hear!
Thank you for the reply. You made my day!! 😃
Great swing

A weight distribution cheat sheet along with ball position in relation to your head as you’ve mentioned on your nose for wedge outside your check for 8 iron etc…would be good to refer to while on the range.
Good luck in you member/guest Mark!
You can tell he’s a smart guy based off the questions he asks. Have a great fourth and God bless! 🇺🇸
Sorry I’m new to this channel, the hip bump or k set up has worked wonders with my contact, im sure you’ve probably explained before but why are your feet almost turned in on every shot ? That’s counter to most thinking
Hey Adam. Responded a couple days ago and for some reason I wanted to rename you Eric😂🥴🤔. Been watching you for a couple of years and follow faithfully. No disrespect sir just me being a dumbass. Handicap 3.8. Haven’t broken par in 20 years. Shot 70 yesterday. 3 birdies, one bogey. I appreciate all you do.
Ï love u! Could you do a video about shorter backswing and bigger turn explicate. Thank you.//Anders from Sweden
Another great video Adam, you seem to keep both your feet perpendicular, e.g., you do not open them as other coaches advise to enable more turn, can you explain why you promote to keep them practically straight please? Best J
You really are the best golf instructor on UA-cam. No lie.
@porzakgolf I’d love to come see you. Where can you book an in person lesson???
Hi,
Do you push off the trail leg to create the hip bump?
Cheers
Thanks for reading the comments and gave us a following! Another of your best video (at least…. For me) 🤓
How do you feel about the left heel coming up on back swing ? Then, planting it on the downswing.
How to hit hybrids off tee and fairway
My God Doug that's consistent ball pounding!
No one better on the planet
Bumping forward your hitting down unless your width is wide enough or you will be ahead of the ball...
I sort of can't believe what I'm seeing. At 2:07 and 2:20, I'm seeing you do what appears to be early extension. You move up and away from the ball. Yet you kill the ball. When I early extend, the ball goes nowhere (it's because my rotation stops). How do you go up like that but still maintain great rotation and ball contact? Thanks.
Started watching only a few short weeks ago you were at 53,000 subscriptions now it’s 67,400 The sky will be the limit……. And so it begins…..
POST IT & SEND IT
You seem to good to be true . . . I want to believe.
You bump pushing everything left, without the bump they go straight...
😢😂🎉
I needed this, today I hit some low thin shots because of the extra tilt.
