Billy, you keep saying you started late, at age 25!! I’m 63. I have no idea if I have any real talent at all. I wonder what I can realistically expect to accomplish. I’ve only been playing for a year.
I wonder if your interviewee knew my friend Valter Despalj who I met originally in Dubrovnik, then in New York? He was also a great cellist and teacher. Sadly he died last year.
