I've had heavy, clotty periods for 15 years. last 3 months, I began prenatal pills, wild yam supplement, and accupuncture. last month I had the brightest red medium flow and no clotting. 😊

My work colleagues never understood my heavy periods. I’d be walking and all of a sudden a gush would come through and I’d stop walking and stand still.
That is certainly difficult to deal with. Were you able to get it under control?
I've had heavy clotting and heavy periods since I was 13. I'm also prone to having cysts so I have a feeling I have a cyst somewhere in there. Every OBGYN I've gone to has refused to check for Endometriosis so I don't have any answers for sure. I guess I'll have to find out for sure when I try to have babies. Thank you for this video it validated my thoughts on what it COULD be.
I'm 27 years old and I've always had a problem with my period. I started my period at age 9 and they were always very heavy. I was diagnosed with PCOS at age 13 but my mother refused to allow me any kind of treatment. I lost over 100lbs hoping that my symptoms would relieve themselves but that hasn't really improved anything and it's only been in the last couple of years where I get tonnes of blood clots. I worry that I won't be able to get pregnant, I've had a multitude of accidents and not once have a ever conceived.

So i was taking visanne for my fibroid. It works pretty well for pelvic pains. Newaves so now i like to get pregnant. I went to go see my gyno she told me to stop taking visanne if I'm trying to get pregnant. So I got my period January, 5th 2019. I'm still bleeding heavy like full blown period. I don't know rather if it's visanne side effects by getting off the pill or just having sex. I just been taking Advil to calm it down the bleeding not the brown ones the liquid gel blue ones they work better and eating greens. I've taken tranexamic that's like a five-day thing for heavy bleeding. It's just annoying and irritating to be bleeding like this. Just saying. I don't know of any of you experiences..

I all of a sudden have a very heavy flow. I'm on my third day and I woke up at 7 am from cramps. Its 12 pm now and it still hurts. I have to change my pad every 10 to 20 minutes (the night pad). My flow is constant and the blood clots are huge and frequent. Could this be because of my high TSH levels? I do have a slow thyroid and I'm going to get therapy soon. Will it help?

I wonder if most of these tips are still useful, if a couple decides to use donor eggs to get pregnant. For example, testing progesterone levels before TTC or even testing your blood if you indeed have heavy periods as described in this video.

my periods are dead on every 28 days, my cycle is perfect, except for one thing the first 2 days of my period I experience very very heavy bleeding, to the point of losing so much blood causing me to have anemia, but the irony is I have very little to none cramps, and every month it's exactly the same, has anyone ever experienced this? It's very much affecting my daily life, how I go about my day, causing great fatigue, tiredness and losing train of thought. Can you share what your remedies of improving this was besides taking iron supplement.
I go through the same thing. My days are 2 and 3, after that I just spot for a few days then its gone. Like clockwork, repeat every 28 days to the hour sometimes. I try to up my red meat intake for the iron, that seems to help me bounce back after the blood loss. But nothing seems to help with all the other symptoms that come with basically bleeding to death every month. Im going to be trying the milk thisle and tumeric combo and see if that does any thing.

I take pills to regulate my emotions and I think they are really messing up my periods.
I skipped a whole period last month and usually when I have a period it will switch back in forth between heavy and light do I can never tell what size of a pad to use that day.
And everytime I go to bed the blood somehow drips down a bit to my butt even though I use nighttime pads it's so annoying.

I have heavy periods I find teaspoon of cinnamon in hot water and add tbsp of honey stir well and drink only need once a day usually first 3 days of period this really eases the period and the pain

What if your estrogen is low on cd 3 but you have heavy periods with clots anyway ?
You need to check your progesterone 7 DPO. It is normal to be low on CD 3

Sheri For i am not expert..sure it is not Ok. 37 days cycle is max for normal periode. Do detox ..visit doctor or get some fertility vitamin. At firts i consume fertility pill... i get more blood clot i had experience pregnancy sysmtomps like cramp..metalic mouth...nausea...etc...
Now I stop the pill coz my period no clot..less abdominal cramp pain...to maintain...I try to eat healthy.... i still can't get rid from chips / instant noodle though.

I agree 100% well l just seen the Doctor...l cant speak for anyone else but for me its worth a try...no fibroids- all levels normal...so its worth a try to regulate heavy menstrual cycle's that l have had for as long as l remember since childhood
