This game's soundtrack doesn't get anywhere _near_ the amount of attention it deserves, tons of songs from it are practically begging to be remixed _Especially_ this one, the ambiance it has combined with that main melody is so good. And this remix just makes it so much better, the amount of vibes it has is absolutely insane. Phenomenal job on this, dude
Umm...I don't know where _you've_ been, but Fear Factory is one of the DKC tracks that *don't* need more attention. I could point to at least a handful of different versions of it that have all been made in the last few years (lots of OCR stuff). You have to focus on DKC2 to find the songs nobody covers (I myself could go for a few arrangements of Lockjaw's Saga, though the fact that *David Wise himself came back for Tropical Freeze and made his own cover for it* sort of fixed that). There's something of an unspoken shortlist that every musician that covers video game songs must eventually cover. The top 3 songs on that list are probably Corridor of Time (Chrono Trigger), Wily Fortress Stage 1 (Mega Man 2), and this. This is a great rendition of Fear Factory, and I don't turn down good music, but that is reality.
I don't know in which universe you live. But in my universe we have had people making remixes of this game since it's launch all the way till 2024. And I can confirm. I've been here before this game released. There are many many many good songs on youtube that I listen to on a daily/yearly basis.

As such, your remix, I find, gives the song more of a dystopian sort of feel, as if Donkey Kong is traversing some kind of high tech city in the far future.
