- Now that Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Rescue Team DX is out, I've been playing it nonstop and I've been really liking it so far, so have a remix because this is what I'm currently obsessed with at the moment lol]
It's me back at it again with a third defy the legends remix lol. Idk it's always fun to redo some songs just to see how different my style is now than it was the last time I did it. Last time I did this song was in 2017 and 2015 as well, so dont yell at me for doing some songs again periodically!!
Anyway with this one I went for a more electronic vibe since my last one had a lot of orchestral elements mixed in and to be honest I think it holds up alright, I just wanted to do this song again because I really like it lol

Fun fact: before Pokémon Sword and Shield came out Rayquaza was one of the 4 Pokémon that could learn the move Fly simply by leveling up, the others being Aerodactyl, Drampa and Salamence.

Who else LOVED the whole cloud hazard while fighting + he cutscene hyperbeam? It add so much intensity to the fight, and at least it's not just a stupid "throw sleep seed" then spam and win. Clearly an awesome remaster of an awesome fight.
while i liked it it was annoying as well but got him after the mega fight and dragon ascend if you spent 7k on him is really busted once you get enough pp on it also the onyl way for him to mega evolve i think whit empowered seed as i tried to mega evolve him whiel buliying groudon and he didnt mega soo i think dragon ascend is the trigger on it otherwise he will be just in awoken form
@@ROBDEWAND pretty sure dragon ascend is how he mega evolves in the core games. That would explain that

OH YES, Defy the Legends II is still my favorite remix of yours, I still regularly put it on when I'm playing anything fast-paced. You definitely didn't disappoint with this one, every time you iterate on an old remix it feels so much more full and realized while still being different enough not to simply render the old one obsolete. Keep up the good work, man! Been following you for years and you've been putting out some consistently fantastic stuff lately

Brings back the old days
This fight was something. The entire path to Rayquaza was a really long one for me. Sky Tower didn't welcome me at all. (I had to come back and rescue my own team at one point so I could continue) and when I got to Rayquaza...the fight was really long and stressful.
But I did it. I've beaten a Mystery Dungeon game for the first time in my life, and it was glorious!
This remix is really fitting!!

Oh and tying up some loose ends from the story.
Oh, and play explorers of Sky as well. This game is great, but Sky is on another level.

For a moment I thought it was a remix of the Sky Tower from Red/Blue Rescue Team! I haven't played the new one, but I could tell from a mile away this soundtrack is so Mystery Dungeonish.
I faced Rayquaza in Red Team, I guess it's now up to you youngsters to face it
