Are 5x120mm and 5x4.75" bolt patterns interchangeable?
Wheel options at a good price are limited on the Corvette but you can use rims with the 5x120mm bolt pattern so it's ok.
Just make sure to get hubcentric rings to evenly distribute the weight and you'll be fine.

Another PERFECT TEASER video! ;-)
😂😂😂 I'm getting good at it. Monday should be a full video walk around
Good info cause I knew about the bolt pattern difference but now I know about the rings. Good looking out
💯💯 no problem. Glad to help out
@@89imp03 I got an 85 monte carlo ss with the same bolt pattern and been looking for some wheels for it. Now gotta figure out the back spacing...lol Thanks for the info
@@hugoguerrero77 yeah that type of information is hard to find on here but good luck
👀👀 them gone be fire on there when you’re all set and done
😎😎 yeah man I can't wait. I'm gonna need to start getting some rolling shots after this
Did it work because I wanna try that same setup on my 2017 Camaro
@@lireck4376 yep, worked just fine. Been riding on the new wheels with no problems all year
Bruh, this video is a Godsend! Thanks for making this video. Because everytime I Google this and read the articles, I just get more confused. So badly I've always wanted to put some BBS wheels(mesh/lattice design) on my 86 Regal. I want to keep the old school 80s look, but with some good looking wheels. To me the BBS wheels are timeless and gives me the look that I want. Now, the only other thing I have to figure out is will the BBS center caps work on the front wheels because of the spindle and if there are some with 0 offset. I could just purchase some of the GNX/GTA wheels but I really don't care too much for the tall center caps and I like the rivets(nipples) on the BBS wheels. If not BBS, I ran across this company JNC and they got some good looking wheels too. ✌🏾👍🏽
Glad to help out man. I was bouncing around between UA-cam and Facebook groups trying to figure this stuff out myself. JNC has some nice wheels if you don't get the BBS. That was one of my original wheel choices but the ones I wanted were on backorder with no estimated date to be back in stock

Yeah man, it's a struggle trying to find some good looking wheels for the Gbody if you're not into anything bigger than an 18" size wheel. I like some of the big ass wheels, but that's not my cup of tea. 😆
@@bkrgls yeah it's tough. I found my wheels on fitmentindustries.com they have a good amount of 18s on there
@@89imp03
Thanks for the info. I'll check'em out.
@@bkrgls no problem
You don't need rings to go from 5x120 to 5x120.65 (or 5x4.75mm). It's a difference of .65mm. They bolt right on with no problem.
I agree but this was like added security just in case I was wrong
Thank you I was looking at some nice konigs bro in 5x120.00 on the s10 I don’t like the wheels in 5x4.75
Yeah you'll be good with those
some help please lol., did u get any shaking when putting on the 5x120 inc the front? Did you get any shitting of the rotors when hitting the brakes? Did it weaken the studs at all?
So far haven't had any issues related to the wheels. Rides just like it's still on the factory wheels
I got some 20s but they are 5x4.5 and my are 5x5. Will that ring help make it fit?
No, that's too much of a difference so you would need an adapter that bolts to the car and has a new set of studs built into it that matches the bolt pattern of the new wheels
My old school 95 Jaguar bolt pattern is 5x120.65....so you saying i can go with your setup? I have 22s direct fit already that i bought over 10 years ago. Had to find rims now😥
Yep and it should work just fine
@@89imp03 💯
please will 112 wheels fit my honda which has 114.3 ?? please I need help
You can fit 115 but anything else probably will be too big of a difference
@@89imp03 did you try it ?
@@DigitWise0 not with 112 but with my Impala it was made for 5x114.3 but 5x115 fit just fine
Good video I got S10 Chevrolet 1999 my it 5x4.4.75 got friend got 18 R rims for sale 10 lug universal pattern it 5x4.120 mm thind this pattern rims can fit s10 Chevrolet rims 10 lug
Should fit
Can you got the other way. My cars a regular 5x120 can I fit a 5x120.65?
Yeah it should work fine either way. Use hubcentric rings if you can. The lug nut holes are usually wide enough to give you a bit of room to work with
Did it work I got a Camaro?
I mean to reply on this one
@@lireck4376 yeah it works
Do Yk by any chance how to make a 5.120 wheel fit a c6 if the oem is spec on a c6 like mine is 5.120.65? Or will there be any issues if put on
It'll be the same. The C5 and c6 have the same bolt setup
@@89imp03 do you know what I have to get can you comment the link for what I would have to get to be good to run those wheel thanks btw brother!!👍
@@albertgarcia4416 here's a link to the rings I used but check the hub size on your wheels first. The hub size on my car is 70.3 and the hub space on the wheels is 72.6. if your wheels have the same hub size as my wheels than these will work, otherwise just find the rings with the hub sizes you need

Can I only use a hub centric ring if my pattern is 5x114.3 to 5x115 wheel? Or do I need the adapters?
You can use just the hub centric rings. I only used the adapters to get the wheels to flush with the new fender flares
@89imp03 do you have any to recommend?
@@kingb8824 not really. These are the only hub centric rings I've ever used and I found them in ebay.
@89imp03 So I measure the vehicle hub and the rim hub to determine the specs? What if I dont know the rim specs? Ill be buying them from someone
@@kingb8824 yeah that's about it. You can try to find the specs for the wheel online or just wait until you get them to be 100% sure.
What size you used????
72.6mm to 70.3mm rings
Here's the link the the exact ones that fit my new wheels

Do you know if the ring would be the same for a Chevy s10
@@whowebe3146 it might be but I'm not sure exactly
I have a 55 bel air with disk brakes I think the hub sticks out to far for a 5x120 but it equals out to 5x4.75
Might be a bit more complicated
So 5x4.75" is 5x115?
No, 5x4.50 would be similar to 5x115mm
Can someone just tell me which exactly the ones he got lol?
The car bolt pattern is 5x4.75, the wheels are 5x120mm. The hub centric rings I used are linked in the description but you might need a different size depending on the wheels you get
