In this video, I take a look at the mini-expansion for the game One Deck Dungeon, Abyssal Depths. This small expansion adds a big punch to the game.
From the publisher:
New and dangerous Fiends have appeared, and now make every dungeon even more of a challenge to conquer! In this expansion to One Deck Dungeon, new Fiend cards will harass you from the moment you step foot on the first floor right up until you face the boss. Each fiend has its own unique effects, and you'll have to divert some of your valuable dice to combat its threats during every encounter. It's not all bad news though - every time you push back the fiend, you'll gain a valuable point of healing and a heroic die.
One Deck Dungeon: Abyssal Depths contains 6 large Fiend cards, and 3 Heroes - the Dragoon, Aquamancer, and the Witch.

So basically this expansion makes it harder but it's already hard I think that's actually good because it test ur skills to the highest level even for someone of ur level n expertise with these games!
I'm planning a solo play video with this expansion soon. Also have the Forest of Shadows expansion that I need to try out sometime.

The threat levels seem awkwardly numbered. interesting game to say the least. I dig the artwork on the cards
You're right about that. I think it would make more sense to say the fiend level matches whichever floor you're on, and if you kill it, it just stays dead an regenerates on the next floor.
This is a cool game and I think it would be cool if there was a digital version!

Interesting, I’ve not tried it yet but yeah it sounds as difficult as I had imagined.
It seems to me that it’s aimed at providing a challenge for people who played the “campaign “ and maxed out their characters.
That could be. I haven't done the campaign mode, but it does look like it could be fun. I do want to give this expansion another run for sure. I also have the Forest of Shadows expansion, but haven't played it yet.
Is there a one deck dungeon expansion called the gathering because that would be cool!

increasing the amount of die to cast, fun idea.
It's cool, but it does make the game nearly unbeatable.
It's not all bad having a Fiend in play. Sometimes that confront bonus can save you. I've beat almost every Fiend at least once. Only one I still need to defeat is Terrorshell.

Honestly, do not understand the new cards ( bosses) so haven't played this expansion.

you forgot to put dice on the trap part of the dungeon cards 14:30, you have lost the game on this move (or at least, your potion used).
Yeah, that's one of my big problems with this game. So much to remember, and the placement of some of the obstacles slips by my ADHD. Fun game though and I need to make another attempt.
