Do you know if the GA2300-8AER (gray case/strap) will be available in the US(and when) or will I have to order that from the UK? I have a 6 1/2 wrist and look forward to this one. The X is fine with me. I wish it had some sort of sync to grab radio controlled/atomic time. I've used atomic time now for a few years and it's really hard to go without. I've had a few high end automatic watches(Rolex,Tudor, Panerai) worth alot of money but stopped wearing them because time was always off by several seconds. Your reviews are always my favorite. Very honest and I don't feel like you are ever 'pushing' a product. I appreciate what you do.
I like the overall size, the module, the fact you can throw a nato on it without having to buy adapters, but I agree with you on the weird "X" on the dial. It bothers me more than it should! Probably wouldn't buy it for that reason only. Maybe a sign of more gshocks to come in the future with more traditional lug designs?
My take on the X is that the 2100’s LCD doesn’t really fit the dial well, and so the 2300’s X solves that by allowing the LCD to be bisected, and “placed” better. I’m confused by the unnecessarily thick bezel and the need for strap adapters, a step backwards.
Casio.....pleeaase get rid of the negative display on these tiny displays.

Straps continue to make a huge difference. Game changers

It should be part of the Baby-G line.
