The reason you'd get Ultimate Fan has everything to do with the store discounts. He mentioned the $25 coupon (which is very good if you're a figure collector) but not the 15% discount on everything. That's a BIG deal for figures and other things that can cost several hundred dollars, and will easily make up the cost of Ultimate Fan. I used it just for discounts at the store. It's absolutely wonderful for that.
The other only anime streamer is called Hi-Drive. Which I never have used. Been using Crunchyroll fan tier about 8 years and haven't changed it since lol.
7.99 isn't bad tbh. I ran out of things to watch on Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus, and that's mostly due to them having short seasons, and EPs vs. Anime in general where a season can have way more than just 15 EPs. The offline viewing for MEGA fan seems cool, and I would only consider it if I'm going on a trip then cancel, and downgrade after I'm done with the trip. 😂 As for the Ultimate fan, the lower price for items doesn't seem like too bad of a deal if you're into buying things from them. I would cinsider it if I was one of these people.
$15/month should be like a family like netflix. So we can watch anime separately. Like my kids watches same anime as me but they are way ahead. Like Netflix it should be separate for each individual. Up to 3 or 4.
My subscription plan is - purchase titles yearly for 39+ yrs building up a private library I can watch whenever I want- model. Is it cheaper? No but nothing can be taken away and the occasional title does get broken/lost/lent out and not getting returned etc.
I'm considering doing it for the store discounts, as I spent about $130 this month on anime and have got a wishlist full of it, so honestly I feel like the 15% discount would save me more than $15 a month pretty easily.
so far the few unboxing of swag bags I've seen are completely a waste not even worth the price of 60 i think it be cool if they did merch for every season i think that would be cool i dont think having a single platform is good at all i remember when the merging started happening they started to boot the more "adult" content off the platform theirs a ton of anime thats missing now and to only have one viewing service will continue to lose anime that this singular entity dose not deem appropriate
I was given none of these options. In fact, this is the first I'm hearing of them. As far as I knew, there was free and paid, paid being ten bucks a month. Even now I can't find any option to upgrade or downgrade, it just says "You're already a Premium member" when I click the link. I'd probably downgrade, since I have no need of being able to watch on multiple devices at the same time (I'm just a guy with a Roku, after all). Nor do I care about offline viewing.
I'm just thinking of how funny it would be if Sony decided that their animated Spiderverse movies became Crunchyroll exclusives...

There's one called RetroCrush with older stuff, too.

Love the honesty! Needed this review/comparison to know which tier I should get back into🎉🎉

I read somewhere that you’d be able to screencap if you’re a ultra fan. Welp, that was a lie.
can you use the 15% off for the manga in their store?
Do you have a video on how to get back the yearly subscription?? For Crunchyroll
Is Demonslayer , and Just Jitsu Kaizon on Crunchyroll Premium
yes

What about this anime streaming service? Anilyme
Ten bucks looks like the way to go. Hulu was excellent about five years ago, but they really dropped the ball.

This AniWave witch I watch but I’m think going to here but I don’t know if get the money for it

How do I even get my figure though?
Did u figure out how?
I'm wondering that too
I just got an email to redeem my swag box after a year. It let me pick between Demon Slayer, Jujutsu Kaisen, Attack on Titan, or One Piece.
Thanks for letting me know

Nothing crunchyroll has to offer is worth it
😢
I have watched a couple of reviews, and the one thing they do not say is quality of stream. Crunchroll used to be kinda crap has it improved.?
yeah was wondering the same thing
No, their streaming is the worst compared to all other streaming services I have. Makes Disney+ look amazing by comparison.
