@@redeemedzoomer6053 Hey as a born and raised Mormon who enjoys your videos and takes on theology that isn’t LDS I have one question: Why do you have a dislike for Mormons? I know that everything is weird about it such as the belief of a living prophet which contradicts what Jesus says and how we technically practice heresies but we believe in Christ as the son of God who died upon the cross for our sins and then resurrected 3 days later, we build magnificent temples in the name of God (although Masonic you have to admit they are beautiful), and we refuse to change our ways in the current world (Example: We don’t allow politics to rule everything in our everyday lives or beliefs). It’s mainly just a genuine question stemming from your statement of all Christians being unified as a part of the Kingdom of God in a previous video from this week talking about Non-Denominational churches and I don’t really expect feedback from you or anything but I would appreciate it if you told me your views about it. Have a blessed day or night🕊️
@@TheEmbodimentOfSorrow Hey man, I don't want to speak on behalf of RZ, but I'm assuming he is as concerned with LDS as myself and practically all doctrinally sound Christians. I'm not sure about yourself, but LDS theology has God as being a man who ascended to the god-head, rather than being the Eternal Creator that He actually is. Additionally, having Jesus as God's literal created offspring and brother of Satan is a disgusting doctrine. LDS rejects orthodox understanding of the Trinity, of who God is. They as well believe that faithful Mormons will ascend to their own god-head in heaven, getting their own planets like God. Absolutely falling for the first lie Satan said, "that you will be like God". Christians who confess Jesus as YHWH, the eternal God and Creator, cannot stand in union with Mormons, who deny Jesus as the eternal God. Once again, I don't know if you hold to (or even understand) the depths of heretical teachings of LDS, but if you do, you worship a different god. Just like Islam who claims to worship the same abrahamic god, but rejects Jesus as Lord. There isn't compatibility. Does that make sense? I truly hope and pray that you are led out of LDS and see Christ as the One True God. Beautiful structures and nice people don't mean anything when the Eternal God is denied. God bless you man.
@@gagestorto5305 Yeah I personally don’t agree with most things that Joseph Smith implemented into the Mormon Theology. It’s weird for Mormons to think that Lucifer and Jesus were siblings. I also don’t really agree with them on the Godhood status that we’re fed to believe since childhood since that contradicts Christ’s statement about being “The Alpha and the Omega…” What’s weird is that I was taught by Mormons that Christ is the Eternal God but I won’t disagree with a thing since you appear to have obviously studied the theology created by Joseph Smith in depth and I harbor no problems with your views and I typically do question the LDS church’s teachings. I am aware of a few heresies such as the belief that we shall become gods which means that Christianity doesn’t have one singular God but instead it’s polytheistic which contradicts everything the Bible says about God. Anyways thank you for sparing some time to message me. I am grateful to have received a neutral view on Mormons and I hope you have a blessed day or night🕊️
@@TheEmbodimentOfSorrow I also don't speak on behalf of RZ. I will point out that LDS scripture revealed in the 1830s takes a very distinctively Nicene-Trinitarian approach to the Trinity; see 2 Nephi 31:21 in the BOM and D&C 20:28 revealed in 1830. They also affirm the eternality of God. This is not to mention the mountains of evidence found in the still LDS-approved KJV Bible. I have a friend who is an LDS Church member and an priesthood holder, who explained to me that these scriptures are reconcilable with the three separate gods position (since God is united in purpose) and exaltation (since they are eternal in the minds of their spirit children), but I am doubtful. He has lost some of his faith and succumbed to his same-sex attraction lately. Some LDS Doctrines, like baptism of the dead that they justify biblically with 1 Corinthians 15:29 and with post-restoration revelations, were likely heretical or pagan practices during biblical times: www.bibleref.com/1-Corinthians/15/1-Corinthians-15-29.html I consider the Community of Christ to be much closer to "mainstream" Christianity, although I am not onboard with their doctrines on salvation and other issues.
As a Tennessean, I wouldn’t say that Tennessee deserves S, but it at least deserves A. I mean, our nature here is beautiful, we have mountains, rivers, wild life and flowers, we get all fours seasons but don’t have any severe wether, we have a lot of nice churches, the state is more conservative as a whole, and the list goes on. Plus, we were voted the state with the second nicest people, number one being Minnesota. On second thought, though, we do have Memphis, so throw the whole state away at that point. 😂

@@redeemedzoomer6053
Hey as a born and raised Mormon who enjoys your videos and takes on theology that isn’t LDS I have one question:
Why do you have a dislike for Mormons?
@@gagestorto5305
Yeah I personally don’t agree with most things that Joseph Smith implemented into the Mormon Theology. It’s weird for Mormons to think that Lucifer and Jesus were siblings. I also don’t really agree with them on the Godhood status that we’re fed to believe since childhood since that contradicts Christ’s statement about being “The Alpha and the Omega…”
What’s weird is that I was taught by Mormons that Christ is the Eternal God but I won’t disagree with a thing since you appear to have obviously studied the theology created by Joseph Smith in depth and I harbor no problems with your views and I typically do question the LDS church’s teachings.
Some LDS Doctrines, like baptism of the dead that they justify biblically with 1 Corinthians 15:29 and with post-restoration revelations, were likely heretical or pagan practices during biblical times: www.bibleref.com/1-Corinthians/15/1-Corinthians-15-29.html
I consider the Community of Christ to be much closer to "mainstream" Christianity, although I am not onboard with their doctrines on salvation and other issues.

This is primarily an urban versus rural thing, primarily. Large cities in the South are more liberal than rural areas in the most liberal of states.
For placing at least some importance on beautiful church architecture, you have to put Utah higher, even if you disagree with their beliefs. Have you seen any of the temples there?
Mormonism isn’t Christianity, that would be like ranking Hawaii higher because they have a beautiful Buddhist temple.
@@nickharmon2157 Last I checked, the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter Day Saints is a religious group that believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that he came to Earth and died for our sins, and that he was resurrected and defeated death. What's wrong with weed, if Christians are allowed to drink, why is weed bad?
Give this a quick read. I think it explains the issue very well. www.desiringgod.org/articles/marijuana-to-the-glory-of-god
@@lunarpanda77 gave it a read, it literally makes a ton arguments for both sides and fence sits. Smoking weed to relax every now and then shouldn't be a problem.
@@crazyand2099 It certainly does a good job of evaluating arguments from both sides, but it's not a fence sitting position. It shows how in any capacity, weed violates sobriety and numbs the mind. Users aim to numb, distort, relax, unplug, distract, etc. Alcohol can also be sinfully used in this way, not not necessarily so. In moderation, alcohol promotes joyful hearts and can be enjoyed to God's glory. But it can also be used like a band-aid, as is the case with marijuana use, that numbs and distracts.
@@lunarpanda77 marijuana in moderation is the same way, users use it to relax and lower their stress. He just goes to the extreme and talks about potheads who don't work, even though that's a small fraction of pot smokers.
@@crazyand2099 But the dosage of marijuana required to achieve relaxation makes one not sober, whereas alcohol has positive psychological effects before impacting sobriety. Therefore the use of marijuana is either pointless (when consumed in quantities low enough that one remains sober) or immoral (when consumed in quantities high enough to relax the user).
