Kevin is a piece of garbage and he was smart NOT to partner with him. Listen, with volume comes discounts in manufacturing costs as the high numbers of sales spread out overhead costs. So, even though his costs were over $1 a sponge at the time of this airing, he’s probably well under that per sponge, now… so imagine it eventually costs him 50 cents a sponge due to mass manufacturing - Kevin’s 7.5 cents per sponge would now be a whopping 15% of the cost per sponge… and for what? Kevin offered nothing but cash in return. Lori’s offer was off the charts compared to Kevin as she’s a master marketer with excellent industry connections. Kevin is nothing but a MAGA Republican leach. Btw, Scrub Daddy was originally made in USA (which was smart as the Chinese would have stolen the manufacturing if he contracted it out to China), but it’s now made in Germany. If not the USA, then Germany or Japan are excellent alternatives… but Germany is better since it gets him into the EU. Just sad he stopped making it in America when things got humming.

We are now a household of fans and my kids have even renicknamed me as Scrub Daddy lol. Everyone fights for them when it comes time to clean things lol

Bought those at Costco. This guy hit a homerun...
Great episode!!!!!! 🙌

I think its one of the best ones for sure 🥳
2019: *"WHO'S YOUR SUGAR DADDY?"*
2024: *"WHO'S YOUR SCRUB DADDY?"*
Lori was way more Sharky back then.
Aaron played it so well in the end ! He even managed to drop the 25 to 20% ! He knew exactly what his business worth and stood still until the end !
I absolutely love the scrub daddy and scrub mommy and scrub everything, makes cleaning dishes so much more easier.
This company is currently worth over 300 million
He lets them eat their words
Whoever doubted this product should no longer be a shark. This is a $300 million dollar business now.
The way you see the scrub daddy flying after it cuts to the guy walking away always sends me for some reason lol
Kevin telling him he's an idiot and expecting him to go with him. What a clown 🤡
Wow i didn't know Scrub Daddy was on Shark tank. I remember seeing someone say how great it was and went to try it myself when i saw it at CVS. i'm so hooked on it i have never been more happier washing dishes
Crazy how the men started changing their tune the second they saw that Lori knew what gold this was. Lori knew the market potential for this immeadiately, those clowns didn't and honestly i don't even think they understood even when they started upping their offers, that was all just panic coz Lori clearly knew something they didn't and they were suddenly afraid of losing out. Hence just throwing out money offers with no plan, while Lori knew exactly how to market this and had the right connections to do so.
That shows the power of positive attitude and a happy face😁. Always good vibes!!!
This was one of the best negotiations I've seen on here.
When he said a 100,000 for 50% 😂😂😂
5:00 They all laughed at him, look at him now
And now we have Scrub Daddy in the 2 biggest supermarket chains in Australia. We have a Scrub Daddy & a Scrub Mommy.
Lori knew it and it was a great deal even at 200k, Years later this guy is so rich AND I love my scrub daddy (I see it in every store)
Kevin almost made the best deal of his life but got greedy and asked for 7.5 cents. Close!!
Eh, I feel like the company would have been way different today if a different shark invested
Congrats on the success🎉 😁I see scrub daddy everywhere. Even here at home. Unfortunately my scrub daddy ended up in the trash after the first set of dishes I washed because it fell apart. It was awful. But my family loves it. They continue to buy them. It is super cute. 😍 these success stories always make me so happy. I wish I was smart enough to start a business
I work for a major retailer and we are selling a ton of Scrub Daddy every day. We are selling his other stuff like Scrub Mommy really well too.
while all the others are laughing Lori is like „oh boy those idiots“ 😂
Scrub daddy is 300 million valuation now. Someone made 60 Million off with this deal.
I’m crying I’m so proud of this random man
Shes smart . This damn sponge is doing very very well
So glad Lori got this deal. And, it sure has paid off as we all know. Awesome. Scrub Daddy is Practical Perry approved. Videos coming soon to my UA-cam channel on all things practical. ; )
LOL i never realized when I bought this scrubber the purpose of the smiley face and the different uses of soaking it in hot & cold water. So cool
you can see from the start Lori is focused direct as others laugh ... she knows she's found the gem.
Kevin had the better deal, but idk if he would’ve blown it up like Lori
He wouldn't have. He didn't offer any resources. Only 100k
As she said: ''Connections are everything''
No Bro Lori gave him the best offer: The COGS Kevin wanted could have affected sales pretty badly too, while Lori really just wanted equity.
Lori saw the money instantly and they didn't understand the vision
Canadian here, had no idea this a was a shark tank pitch. I bought it at my local Dollarama for their highest priced offerings of $5, thinking it’d be funny to show my kids. Well there I am in the store buying a few more. And a scrub mommy. And telling my frigging friends about it. I’ve used the things a bunch and wasn’t even really aware of the texture changing properties until this video. I just found the utility of the thing crazy good. We are now a household of fans and my kids have even renicknamed me as Scrub Daddy lol. Everyone fights for them when it comes time to clean things lol
6:29 She was right.
This was crazy watching after the time has passed
That 20% of Lori's would've made her a fortune with the amount of success Scrub daddy had in the recent years. Good for them!
Watching them all turn down this deal was so painful. It’s seriously such a fantastic product. When mine are reaching end of life I recommission them to the bathroom and they’re also fantastic for scrubbing showers and tubs.
Bought a Scrub. Daddy last week October 3, 2023. It was the FIRST time I’ve seen it in my local dollar store, a rack full of them, I bought ONE & paid $4 dollars. LOVE it, so I went back a week later to get another one ...& there was ZERO left in the store. 😀
You spent 4$ on a sponge? Lmao I get a 10 pack at dollar tree for 1.25 and they work perfectly.
@@mrbong123 Yes, I’ve bought the 10 yellow sponges with green back scrubber for $1.25 ....useless. Scrub Daddy’s in a whole other ballpark.
@mrbong123 worth it tho. Those cheap sponges don't do it for me :/
Investment and it’s good to get at least 1 and have a pack of regulars
@@mrbong123
I mean… $4 on one sponge that’s gonna last longer than all 10 of those other sponges…
We have all the different types. Daddy, mommy, the dish wand, the only one I wasn't fully happy with was the duster because it requires more water than I thought it needed but works really well. On the other hand, the durability of the duster has lasted a long time.
