British Class 158 DMUs 1992-2000

172 Class 158/0s were built by BREL between 1990 & 1992. They were termed BREL Express DMUs. Most were 2-car units but 16 were 3-car units. Most were branded Regional Railways, some had Express and a few had both. Later most units were re-branded and repainted for the private operators who took over services from British Rail.
This video shows both two and three car units and includes some units re-branded Alphaline Wales and West and some repainted units for the same operator. The footage was taken between 1992 and 2000 and includes views of the interior, of the cab and views from a signal box.
