  • I was out and about testing out the Contax Zeiss 28mm f2.8 with the BMPCC 4k and ran across a Black History Month exhibit at FIT #blackintime. The Kobe tribute caught my eye and in I went to check it out. If you are in NYC definitely go, it's free btw.
I used a Metabones Canon EF Lens to Micro Four Thirds Camera Adapter, T CINE Speed Booster ULTRA 0.71x on the BMPCC4k.
All or most of the shots were at 400iso at f2.8

Why did you go with the T cine speed booster instead of XL and is your speedbooster made specifically for BM4k? Also how were you able to slap this lens on the Metabones, did you mod it? And how does this perform in low light?

I got a good deal on the T cine speedbooster and it looks really good on the BMPCC4k. It's not the version specifically made for the BM4k but I'm not sure you could tell the difference, it worked well as you can see. I used a contax (c/y) to ef adapter on the lens, then I mounted it to the speedbooster. I didn't have to mod the lens in anyway. The camera itself is pretty good in low light, with the metabones you do get an extra stop of light, and the lens was good in low light. I get the best low noise results when shooting at ISO 1250 or 3200 - in low light or indoors.
